I saw ELVIS in June of 77 two months before He passed, the MAN WAS MAJESTIC. ELVIS NEVER GAVE UP HIS BODY GAVE OUT, THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ELVIS AND NEVER FORGOTTEN !
That's so wonderful that you got to be in the same exact place as Elvis at the same exact time!Wow!! I've seen Paul McCartney before, but Elvis is the absolute best to me! Extremely special!🙂❤ My mom, who passed away in '09, is why I love Elvis so much. Since 1970, when I was 5, Elvis has been my absolute favorite. No one even close! Thank you for your beautiful comment!

He sounded AMAZING in #4 “Hurt” but I think was favorite was #1 “Where No One Stands Alone”!! You could hear EVERY word he sang CLEARLY … and that’s what I love …… listening to his voice … 🥰🥰💜💜⚡️⚡️⚡️
@elvisistheman I saw Elvis at the Chicago Stadium on October 15th 1976 and May 1 , 1977…. On one of those dates on his Hurt reprise (from my vantage point which was about 2/3 of the way back from the stage on the main floor) Elvis did what looked like a summer salt but after watching that last clip it could have very well been one of those two concerts where that clip was taken from. He wore I believe is called the CHIEF jumpsuit on October 15th 1976 and the ARABIAN jumpsuit on May 1st 1977. I’ll have to take a closer look at the clip and/or compare it to audio of those concerts. Thank you so much for all you do with your channel. Take care.
@johnnybravo5145 The thought of even getting to see & hear Elvis perform those concerts as good as he sounded and knowing that you were able to be present when Elvis didn’t have much time left is just mind blowing!! Seriously the happiness/sadness you must have felt upon Elvis’s death must have been tremendous! The happiness of getting to hear that voice when there were not to be many more chances, I can’t even think how great that feeling of being given that chance would be. The shock of his death must have been unbelievable as in you having just seen him. But Wow! How lucky are you!!
I agree Hurt #4. I honestly don't know how people could walk away from Elvis' concerts and not feel profoundly changed by his incredible performances. I'm emotional just watching/listening to these few highlights. 💗💓💖
He really was the greatest. The shows from June 1977 always make me sad. Like Where No one Stands Alone my favorite, but he sang his heart out in all of them. Love him still, always will❤
Elvis was loved by his fans and he knew it. He wanted to be sure he made his fans happy and put on a good show. The smiles on his face said it all. Great video clips! Looking good, David!
Whenever I see later pictures of Elvis my mind always goes back to how he looked in say Change of habit, and the 69 Vegas press conference. I know he lived a fast life in just 8 years from then, gosh how i wish we could go back and change time for him, help him through to keep enjoying his god given gifts, the whole package. Thank you for sharing though, you take us through the difficult parts of Elvis's life and we need to learn to embrace them as reality ❤
Good choices! I forgot how good Unchained Melody was from that February 21st show here. For me it was definitely Hurt since his vocals were phenomenal, just unbelievable. Thanks for another great video! We the fans appreciate what you do!
What a concert loved them all. Hurt was something else unchained melody was hard to listen knowing how ill he was but sang his his heart out loved his gospel song
No 4 it is one of my favorites but they are all my favorites ! THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER, PERSON IN SO MANY WAYS THEN NOW AND FOREVER!! LUV ❤️ 😍 HIM SO MUCH 💓 💗. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR HIM AND FOR ALL THE THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF FANS OF THE KING OF ROCK!
Musically for me the first Hurt (4) has to be the best performance but for showmanship I'd go for the second Hurt (5) who else could hit that note rolling on the floor! Elvis is the MAN. Thanks again for all you do in keeping our man alive. 👏👏
It’s got to be Hurt for his fantastic vocal range ! You can hear the power in his voice and also his love for the song …. You can just hear it it’s like he’s so proud of it and so he should be !!! I do love hearing Elvis putting his heart into a song it lifts you up and he takes you with him but that happens on every one of his song …. Love the channel xx
I am 77 yrs born in 1945/ after Elvis 1935. I did not hear Elvis music til I was married at 17 and then we bought a nice steric. We were involved in church so gospel music was what I liked there were new singers and new songs so I bought two albums of his Grammy gospel winners. I never heard much of his regular music unto the last couple of years. I know every move he makes every hair style every costume. I know pretty much every song. There a young guitar player that comes with songs that people want played and a lot of them I’ve never heard before. All of them are good too. I get a little teary watching his very last song. If they are sad or How grate thou art which was the man one that brought him gospel music Emmy’s. He got his greatest awards with gospel but I have listened to every thing just about. I watch on u tube so I’ve about covered it. The sad songs make me sad because he was sad a good bit. If I get down I play his music. Better late than never. My bought me an Elvis picture for Christmas last year. Kind of a gag gift. It hangs on my wall in my bedroom behind the door but when I close my door I can see it but it’s hidden from the rest of my decor when the doors open it covers it.
Unchained melody on this one was so much more driven than the more popular one used in the Elvis movie. Had he given it that punch as in this version ❤️💔❤️ simply wow
I would have to go with Hurt for sure, but Hound Dog was fantastic also, especially even though he was overweight, Elvis moved and shook was still awesome 👌 he's Elvis. Thanks again Dave, great 👍 show as always
Oh wow! Thanks for bringing tears to my eyes bruh! I love "hurt" by Elvis. Also, I sang this song at a friends class reunion last month and the crowd loved it... Darealdeal

Yep, Rapid City elvis told the producer that after Omaha, he would do better for the next concert. That one was June 21 Rapid City. Night and day difference.
Without a doubt, Elvis's best performance of 1977 is, #2 Unchained Melody, Elvis's awesome voice just wrapped around this song and really delivered. I would vote for it being the best of 1977.

I wish the entire song of Hurt was played. Two clips shown but same part of song 9:149:14 I loved how Elvis sang it. But in these choices I vote for Unchained Melody. He gave his all even when he was not in the best shape his voice never failed him. Elvis is the Man❤
When he sang HURT he really meant it. You can tell when someone is living and feeling a song, thats part of the mastery of any spectacular performance, no matter who it is. I can think of quite a few fabulous performances by a few different people that stick out in my mind and they may have never done that particular song that passionately again......and it hasn't always happened live, sometimes people are more relaxed and do better in a studio😮
I love all these songs that he sang in his last days in 1977. I grew up listening to him singing and I really loved all his songs. I never get tired of listening to him. ❤

ELVIS came to my town of Saginaw Michigan twice in about a week's time first on April 25 the then May 3 Rd 1977 so being there was his best performances for us. Thank you ELVIS.
Absolute favorite gospel song by Elvis Presley and I love the the version with Lisa Marie singing along with her father in the duet later after Elvis had passed gives me chills every time I hear it. 💓😍💓😍💓😍💓
I'm 73 and always loved Elvis. I would have to say Hurt is #1 but never walk alone is up there. From what I heard, it sounds like never walk alone was not sung in concert. It sounds like it was a jam session. Not many singers could belt out a song like Elvis as he had a whole orcastra behind him and yet his voice came out so powerful.
