Im only 15 but i have a Pinterest board that I update everyday of my future 1950s home for when im older its one of my dreams to have a beautiful home like yours!
Laci, I can’t emphasize how GOOD it is to have you back making videos❤❤ I appreciate you taking the time to make them and watching just makes my day! Hearing your end catch-phrase again is like having a hug from a best friend….I missed it and I am SO HAPPY to hear it again!
It was nice to see an original 50's bathroom. So often they're gutted and modernized and all that beautiful tile work and kitschy features are lost. What a sweet little house!
Your house is adorable, and I was thrilled to see the pink bathroom. We have one also, and all of our friends have made us swear to never change it. The full guest bathroom is Pink and Mint Green with poodles, the half bath is Green and Pink with flamingos, and the master is aqua and coral with the fish. Long live the Pink bathrooms!!!
Omg ur my mom lol I was born in 1956 and my sister in 1957. She’s 92 with dementia, thanks for ur station, makes me think of her in better times. And by the way my mom was always dressed like a lady and beautiful.
Oh my! I'm in my 60s now so I was a kid in the 1960s. This is just like going back to my childhood; the porcelain cats, the 'star' clocks, the radiogram, the 60s fabric patterns and the slender mid-century furniture. And Laci, you are SO beautiful! ♥
That is amazing…you really decorated specifically to that era… I recognize everything from my childhood. As a historian I recommend you allow school teachers to use your home for virtual field trips just as you have done here in the video… well done!!
My grandmother had those fish and bubbles on her bathroom wall too. That brought back such a good memory for me. She also had the chrome toothbrush holder in the wall and she had the matching chrome toilet paper cover. I closed my eyes for a minute and was a kid again in her bathroom. Thanks for that, Laci! Wishing you many blessings in your new home!
Memory unlocked - My grandparents had those same cream colored fish and bubbles on their bathroom walls. Seeing your home makes me sick to think about all the vintage stuff we threw out when we cleaned out their house 😢 I had no idea at the time that anyone would want that kind of stuff. I wish I'd puposefully rehomed more of their vintage stuff that I did.
Miss fay you're really awesome designer You inspire me create my own vintage style too, Clearly you deserve 1 Million subscriber 😊 Your Vintage are Masterpiece 🕺💃🕺🐧 ❤🍻🍺🍺🍺cheers👍👍
It is so great to click on UA-cam and see a notification that my Vintage Neighbor Laci is back to making videos. All feels right in the world again. 😊❤
So happy to see one last house tour before we moved on to the new house! I want to say my favorite room of the old house has to be the kitchen, you put so much work into it and turned out amazing.
I absolutely ADORE that bathroom. I'm doing my office in an old Hollywood theme, but seeing that bathroom makes me want to do my bathroom for it in a 50s style.
Love love the house. The kitchen is my favorite. I’m 67 so I remember a lot of the things you have. I had a stuffed black cat that was shaped like the ceramic ones you have. In fact I think the same stuffed cat was in an episode of Lavern and Shirley. So glad you are back making videos. Let’s me reminisce about my childhood. We actually could not wear pants or slacks to school until I got to junior high school when they changed the dress code. It was a different time back then for sure.
Beautiful home! I am 68, so this all reminds me of when I was growing up. I especially love that hutch. I am happy to see you back on UA-cam and look forward to more.
My favorite room in your 1950s house has to be the kitchen. I'm a baby boomer and the kitchens when I was little were very similar. It warms my heart to see the 50s and 60s, and your house and especially the kitchen, brought back so many memories of when I was a little girl.
I really love the Pink Bathroom! I can't wait to see what you're doing in the new haus! I've been following you for a few years, and your videos give me so much joy. Thank you, Laci!
I love the pink bathroom! I grew up in a house built in 1954 and it had a pink and black kitchen. We moved in it in 1965, and it stayed pink and black until 1970-1 ish when it was made over with orange and brown mushrooms. We can thank Mamie Eisenhower for all that pink 50s decorating. 😊
1953 era homey household is quaint and memorable. Sweet furnishings scattered throughout your home look cosey. Congratulations your entire look is friendly. Modern day has changed somewhat with the furnishings being pretty well colour bolder. Emphasis on plastic has exploded. Detrimental to 1953
Your house is beautiful. I was born in 66, but wish I'd been born earlier so I could have raised my family in the 50s. Cant wait to see your new house all 50s style.❤❤❤❤
Such a neat house! I know you'll probably miss it, but I know you're excited to move into your new vintage home! I can't wait to see it!! Here's to new adventures and new vintage items!! It's always a treat to see one of your videos!
My house was built in 1959, and those open shelve room dividers are almost exactly the type that separates my living room from my dining room, except they take up both sides of the entrance.
Oh I just love this so much!! First off...my aunt's house had one of those cool room divider shelf things in her entryway in her house. It was authentic 1950's in the East Dallas area in Texas. So many of the things you have just take me back to growing up surrounded by these things. I was born in 1963, but so many of these styles were still in play in the 60's. We had a house built probably in the late 40's/early 50's. It had one bathroom with aqua blue tile. There was a gas wall heater on the wall in that little bathroom. I can't believe we kids were just trusted to be in there with basically an open flame right there. haha. But we knew to stand away from it. One bathroom for a family of 7. I don't miss that! But we also had the phone shelf in the hall. It was very ornate and it held our black rotary phone and there was a little space underneath that held the phone books. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!
My parents have that red phone! 😆 I am going to try my best to get it when they pass. It's in excellent condition. I'm so glad you showed your stove. Facebook recommended a group for me, and the post they showed was an ad for that kind of stove, in pink. I asked in the comments what kind/brand it was so I could do some research and searching, but the only response I got was a laughing emoji and "PINK!" as the answer. So to say I was overjoyed to see and hear you say Kelvinator is an understatement! I've been a fan of your channel for a while. I hope to one day have a vintage 50's house of my own. I was lucky enough to marry a man that is as interested as I am. Thanks for the post, and I look forward to future videos. Best wishes! ❤
Having grown up in the 50s, brings back so many memories of the decorations and furnishings that we had in our house. Mom had one of those tall glass vases that you have in your living room, except ours was in emerald green and she had a beautiful, huge, fish lamp, with one of those round shades. It used to sit on the drum table in our living room in front of the large picture window. we also had one of those electric stoves in the kitchen, which is, unfortunately, long gone, but I still have the pot that used to sit in the well in the stove. our house was a small Cape Cod that was built in the late 40s after World War II ended and the baby boom began. What a wonderful time to be alive it was…thank you for sharing your house with us, brings back so many memories. Of course I get very nostalgic for that time. I had a wonderful, happy childhood and I miss my parents very much. So glad you’re back Laci…
I am a British person who first visited the US in 1964. My Aunt and Uncle’s house, in Long Beach. CA, looked almost exactly the same as this. Their couch was more plush than yours and had the clear thick plastic covers. A big Zenith colour TV with push button remote. Very impressive to a 10 year old British schoolboy. Brings back lots of memories. Thank you.
I saw so many things my grandparents had. My hubby and I have been using my parents (RIP) 1950’s dressers. You sure can’t buy quality furniture like this anymore.
Que casa maravilhosa, amei tudo.Bem vinda de volta, também adoro gatos, tenho um preto idêntico ao seu e também gosta de ser o centro das atenções, seus gatos são fofos.Parabens pela casa.👏👏 😻😻
It is just beautiful!!! 😍😍😍 My favorite room in the old house has to be the kitchen. Although we had seen it many times before it's just so beautiful and I love the fridge and oven so much! So pretty! ❤
I love the house and your world! I love In the 1990's almost by mistake but I just can't let the twentieth century go. It's my safe place. I understand your love for a better decade when things made more sense in our own little bubble. I think you look great to. So many appreciation from me..
WOW….your house is FANTASTIC I absolutely love it…..I would love to own a home that is early 1960s in all the furniture and accessories like stepping through a time portal into the very past itself.
I’ve obviously been gone a long time. Wasn’t Laci married and mother to a son? Now she has a boyfriend. Could someone fill me in? Did she go through a divorce. It’s good to see Laci again….so talented and productive.
Your old home was such a sweet house. It definitely reminded me of the houses of my aunts and uncles back in the day. We lived in a Victorian home so a very different vibe. I very much look forward to seeing your new home too!😊
Love the tour of your previous house So many neat things. I love paint by numbers..so nostalgic The telephone niche is so sweet and the bathroom is definitely frozen in time Well done and looking forward to your next video 🇨🇦❤️
I am so happy to see this! I saw your prior video on the old house showing the livingroom and kitchen and I adored it. I am so glad to see the rest of the house. I love the atomic art and the brooch collection art piece and the chalk ballerinas. I grew up in a house built in 1967 and it had a pink bathroom but not as nice as yours as it had formica counter tops not the tile you have. But it did have pink tile floor and toilet, sink and bath.
So glad you are back! If I had to pick a favorite room it would be the kitchen , It’s hard to say that I have a favorite item but if I had to it would be the stove! Good luck in your new home and we can’t wait to see you again.
I’m so happy that you are happy.🎉🎉 like everybody else, miss your videos, and of course missed you😊 I am 73 so obviously I was brought up in the 50s and 60s. My house is very vintage probably 30s and 40s with some new stuff mixed in. If I had to pick a favorite room, it would be the bathroom, then the kitchen. I love that stove and I hope you were able to take it with you 🙏Have a blessed day again I love your beautiful home🧡 Faith and Otis🐶 Massachusetts
I lived in an apartment with that same toothbrush nook, and I never could get it open, to be fair I never really tried to do it with force, for fear of damaging it. I imagined it was stuck shut when a tube of ipana toothpaste fell, or something. Thank you for showing it in action… now I know! You did such a great job decorating that house. I can’t wait to see your new one come together.
Red is my favorite color! So happy to come home to see a new video from you. I'm sure your new place is just as adorable as your first home. Cheers my friend!
I really enjoy seeing that home, it's a beautiful place. The kitchen would have to be my favorite...I love everything about it including the color and decor.
Awww my first house had a phone nook. We loved it. We still had a landline for a bit when we bought the house in 2002. We also had the original beautiful pink tiles in the bathroom 🥰🩷love older houses.
Brings back memories kinda early 70s Parents .Like looking at old photos do miss the old tvs and stereos they use to be center piece furniture. Nice to see you back.Your living rm is probably my favorite. 🇨🇦
Your original vintage home is a dream- from the adorable built ins to the Broyhill furniture you’ve collected and the Knick knacks and art- I love it all! I can’t wait to see how your new place turns out! I am so glad you’re back on UA-cam😀
Im only 15 but i have a Pinterest board that I update everyday of my future 1950s home for when im older its one of my dreams to have a beautiful home like yours!

It was nice to see an original 50's bathroom. So often they're gutted and modernized and all that beautiful tile work and kitschy features are lost. What a sweet little house!
Thank you! Yes! Save all the vintage bathrooms!
The builders of my home went cheap on the bathroom and used vinyl. I had the small ceramic squares and pedestal sink installed.
The bedroom is adorable.
Laci-you show how creating a world of one's own is not an egocentric activity but nourishes other people's lives, too! Thank you!
That mid-century modern credenza in the living room is gorgeous!!!
Omg ur my mom lol I was born in 1956 and my sister in 1957. She’s 92 with dementia, thanks for ur station, makes me think of her in better times. And by the way my mom was always dressed like a lady and beautiful.

Beautiful.
You are a gem. All you need now is the vintage black cat clock with the moving tail.❤
Not my favorite interior style but credit enter credit is due! Feels way happier and more modern than the majority of modern homes.
Wow love it all especially the grandfather clock tv the yellow dining room 💛 💙💕
The combination of everything is what I love about your old house! It's 100% you and that's what made it so beautiful!
What a sweet compliment. Thank you!
That is amazing…you really decorated specifically to that era… I recognize everything from my childhood. As a historian I recommend you allow school teachers to use your home for virtual field trips just as you have done here in the video… well done!!

I absolutely ADORE that bathroom. I'm doing my office in an old Hollywood theme, but seeing that bathroom makes me want to do my bathroom for it in a 50s style.
Im from North Carolina so im happy to see a piece of Broyhil from back when they made real furniture. RIP American craftsmanship
Oh nice! Yes! Love Broyhill furniture
The ballerinas in your bedroom- very authentic. My grandparents had them in their bedroom, plus the pink bathroom! It’s a trip down memory lane 😁
Love love the house. The kitchen is my favorite. I’m 67 so I remember a lot of the things you have. I had a stuffed black cat that was shaped like the ceramic ones you have. That cat sounds awesome. Thank you!
Same, I'm 63 (and female), they changed the dress code for us in about 1970.
Hah we didn't get the dress code changed until I was a junior in high school. And I remember it was such a big deal. Seems so silly now. 🤷♀️
Yes, I had that black stuffed boo-boo kitty when I was a kid too!
@@user-mc3tp5sd2z yes! Boo Boo Kitty!
By far the bathroom was my favorite! Pink and mermaids, can’t get better than that!!!!!💖🧜🏻♀️Plus I love your outfit.
Beautiful home! I am 68, so this all reminds me of when I was growing up. I especially love that hutch.
I am happy to see you back on UA-cam and look forward to more.

Laci, yes, your tour was enjoyable. Your communication skills are respectable; you didn't repeat many words during the tour.

I love all you girls on UA-cam living the and dressing the old ways. So cool!

My home was built in 1954. I had to renovate the whole house from top to bottom. It was a real fixer upper.❤ ❤
I am so glad that I looked you up. I missed your upbeat messages.
Your 50’s oven is actually a 1946/47! I’m looking at picking one up and I recognized it as the same as yours! Your new house looks great!
Beautiful, back from a slower time when things were built to a higher standard and meant to last forever..

Just the way I remember it ! I was born in 1945 and grew up in the 50s. It's so wonderful ! Thanks !
Having grown up in the 50s, brings back so many memories of the decorations and furnishings that we had in our house. Mom had one of those tall glass vases that you have in your living room, except ours was in emerald green and she had a beautiful, huge, fish lamp, with one of those round shades. 😊Cool. Brings back memories. You're missing the bar and ashtrays. Every home had them.
Thank you.
The paint by numbers adorned my grandparents house as well as the buffet table. Looking good.
I saw so many things my grandparents had. My hubby and I have been using my parents (RIP) 1950’s dressers. You sure can’t buy quality furniture like this anymore.
Thank you for sharing your last walk through of your first home. My favorite room will always be the kitchen!
I do love that kitchen!
Que casa maravilhosa, amei tudo.Bem vinda de volta, também adoro gatos, tenho um preto idêntico ao seu e também gosta de ser o centro das atenções, seus gatos são fofos.Parabens pela casa.👏👏 😻😻

My 1961 house is mostly original. I was so excited that it came with a vintage Sputnik light fixture in the foyer.
I love the house and your world! I love In the 1990's almost by mistake but I just can't let the twentieth century go. It's my safe place. I understand your love for a better decade when things made more sense in our own little bubble. I think you look great to. So many appreciation from me..
The house is awesome. Your reading glasses are more awesome. Your kitties are the most awesome. Thank you.
WOW….your house is FANTASTIC I absolutely love it…..I would love to own a home that is early 1960s in all the furniture and accessories like stepping through a time portal into the very past itself.

I don’t know why, but I love how many clocks you had around, like at least one in every room and I love that too 😅 they were all so pretty
Loved the kitchen the color was wonderful along with appliances
I love the pink bathroom! And the stove. My grandma had an atomic shawdow box in her living room. 😊
I’ve obviously been gone a long time. Wasn’t Laci married and mother to a son? Now she has a boyfriend. Could someone fill me in? Did she go through a divorce. It’s good to see Laci again….so talented and productive.
Yes. Confused myself. However Laci looks great and seems super happy! Missed u ❤
Your old home was such a sweet house. It definitely reminded me of the houses of my aunts and uncles back in the day. We lived in a Victorian home so a very different vibe. I very much look forward to seeing your new home too!😊

Awesome! Thank you!
It's cool that anything can be found on youtube. This was recommended though.
So glad you are back! If I had to pick a favorite room it would be the kitchen , It’s hard to say that I have a favorite item but if I had to it would be the stove! Good luck in your new home and we can’t wait to see you again.

Oh my goodness I absolutely loved this video. The first time watching it. This is the house that I’ve always wanted.
I absolutely love your home . I grew up in a 50s and so I’m a bit sentimental about those homes! Pink and turquoise are my favorite colors! ❤
Loved your entire house but your kitchen and then the bathroom are my two favorites!
What a sweet video of your first vintage home we've all come to feel so cozy virtually with you Laci! ✨
Oh yeah I wonder if it was jammed. Thank you!!
I have never seen a swilve mirror in a bathroom before, cool concept! If you can get it to work!
OMGosh, I forgot about those fishes in your bathroom. What a blast from the past! Your house looks like it stood still in time, well done!
Red is my favorite color! So happy to come home to see a new video from you. I'm sure your new place is just as adorable as your first home. Cheers my friend!
Thank you!
I really enjoy seeing that home, it's a beautiful place. The kitchen would have to be my favorite...I love everything about it including the color and decor.
So glad you enjoyed!
Awww my first house had a phone nook. We loved it. We still had a landline for a bit when we bought the house in 2002. We also had the original beautiful pink tiles in the bathroom 🥰🩷love older houses.
I love the kitchen a lot. I really want to decorate in this era. I love it so much!
It's amazing what you've done with the place! And all of the people that helped you and gifted you 50s things are so awesome too! ❤
The kitchen looks particularly amazing to me
Brings back memories kinda early 70s Parents .Like looking at old photos do miss the old tvs and stereos they use to be center piece furniture. Nice to see you back.Your living rm is probably my favorite. 🇨🇦
cool mix of late 50’s-60’s & very 70’s products. especially like the modern pieces with a old style feel.
I love all the rooms. But my favourite is the kitchen. Thanks for sharing. Bye from Argentina
Thank you!
I love the pink bathroom. So adorable.
Incredible house. I can't wait to see what you're going to do with your new house. I love your pink bathroom 🩷
Thanks so much!!
It's difficult to pick a favorite room as the whole house is so cute but if I have to, I'll pick the living room. Looking forward to more!
Your original vintage home is a dream- from the adorable built ins to the Broyhill furniture you’ve collected and the Knick knacks and art- I love it all! I can’t wait to see how your new place turns out! I am so glad you’re back on UA-cam😀
