It's funny how people get annoyed about the Spider-man vs X-Men fight. He doesn't really 'beat' them. He hits them and runs away, probably because ehe knows he can't beat all of them together.
I think, a lot of the time, the ones who are most snnoyed about it are the ones who heard about it but haven't read it! You're right, though, it's barelty a thing!

I remember seeing a Stan Lee interview where he said he got frustrated when people kept asked who would win a fight against who and Stan was like whomever the writer wants!

Ivar Timewalker has really piqued my interest, sounds like a great read. I've always wanted to read Squadron Supreme but the JLA knock off factor sort of put me off, but it being an originator of a lot of stories has me interested, see how wordy it is might be a slight challenge though, looks like it puts Claremount to shame!
Claremont could only aspire to the verbosity of Squadron Supreme!
