- A Ukrainian man spent months digging through the wreckage of an apartment block to find the body of a close friend from his school days. Pavlo Holub lives in Izyum, and he carried out this work during the six-month Russian occupation of the town before it was liberated by Ukrainian forces.

As hard as it is to watch these presentations, it has to be done. Watching these in moderation is the trick to remain as humanly sane as possible. It is the "hate" I feel for russians that needs to be kept in check. Ukraine people have suffered for too long and for long periods of time from starvation, killing themselves, and unable to get out for food trapped in their apartments. I mean, the list goes on. Continued monthly support from this East Canadian 🇨🇦 household continues as well as keeping informed through Ukraine and polish youtube news. We must continue to support Ukraine and its people, and yes its animals as well, as best we each can. Bravo and glory to Ukraine. This was very sad to listen to. I admire so deeply the commitment of this young Ukraine man.

Nice thoughts, but prayers and virtual hugs will not prevent a child from being blown to pieces two days after he was born or old people dying in what's left of their homes of cold and hunger.

Authorities worldwide are not doing enough and simple words at this point seem unable to prevent future tragedies.
