I hope that girl can keep her pet.....I think it's very important to her to not loose it.
pet seems fine, it's hanging on to her quite well.
She is adorable with her little fluffy companion🙊😊 Something as simple as a stuffed toy can bring much comfort to a young child. So I agree, it is very important that she can hang on to it. Our young ones are precious and need to be comforted and reassured, especially in times of conflict or strife. And it is not difficult to make sure that happens!

Animals are the best way to heal
The trauma expressed on this little girl’s face and eyes at 3:10 is so heartbreaking.
Even worse are her tears at 4:20. But the elderly people deserve similar compassion, don't they...just imagine being thrown into complete uncertainty and losing your home in old age.../and having domestic animals to care for/

Neither will the Ukranians who are on film relentlessly murdering Russians. Even the UN has to admit that Ukraine is the one committing the war crimes. Such as shame that a fellow military member (someone who is supposed to actually study military history) has not even bothered studying the causes of this war. When I start feeling sorry for me, I remember the beautiful people of Ukraine who are without homes because of a war, a war that is being fought for the freedom to live a life of peace. I pray for all Ukrainians and am thankful for the volunteers like Olha and reporters like Maryan who have chosen a path in life to be just a bit braver to rescue and share their stories. Of course, I couldn't help but ask about the war in Ukraine... He says it's our own fault. Putin warned us back in 2007 not to bring NATO closer to Russia's borders. The last time he warned us was in December 2021. Ukrainians are provocateurs, they have been killing Russians in Donbas for 8 years... And when the Russians decided to protect their own, they shouted "help" to the whole world. If the Russians had bombed the way we bombed in Iraq, Syria, the war would have ended in a month. Nato has an open door policy; which allows any country in the North Atlantic to choose their security measures by joining. Nobody *forces* them to join and it’s not about nato taking over - if a nation wants to join, then they apply. It’s that simple.

The Red Cross stay well back out of harms way. Any help to near the front line and sometimes practically on it is done by the volunteers.
the worst thing about Red Cross is that only 15 - 25 % goes to help, rest is gone too administration. The big bosses in Red Cross don't work for free that's for sure.

I hope this reporter and his team get some recognition some day for always willing to inform us from the battlefront not only exposing themselves to danger but bearing the shock of the war because they've probably have seen and heard too painful stories. Please stay all as safe as you can! And keep evacuating the most vulnerable people. Some of us we'll keep helping you as much as we can, no matter how long this war lasts. No one should live this and especially the kids.
Therapy too, what they have seen and lived will stay with them long after the war is over. 🇺🇦🌻

I am glad they made it safely. I feel for the little girl. This is a terrible thing to go through at any age. But having these sorts of memories while so young cannot at all be healthy. I hope she will get the helps she needs if necessary. The children and elderly are always the most helpless victims of war. It's sad and makes me so mad at Putin and all those that are making this war possible.

Hopefully they will be back soon to a place that is NOT being shelled and won't be again. RUSSIA SUCKS! The 'you should leave more than you take' applies to countries, too, and right now Russia is taking everything, and leaving nothing. They are definitely going to get theirs, in the long run. Whatever respect they had in the world before is GONE now.
Pepa looks like a well behaved little Guinea Pig! I'll bet she's happy to be away from the shelling, too. :-) My kids used to have a couple when they were young, and they had a lot of fun with them. They used to try to teach them tricks, which went better sometimes than most others.
These are images carved in stone to see how these poor people live in constant fear. Any place is better than to stay in a war zone. It only shows the daily resilience , courage and solidarity among these people, something we could still learn a lot from !

Edit: The feast that sits before me could have fed 20 refugees. I am both greatfull and remorseful. We will have leftovers for days. I hope that those of you waiting to be rescued find a meal and a warm bed today. I'm so sorry that you can't be here to share our meal and use our spare bed.

When I looked into the little girl's eyes, I see a girl who is helpless, scared and traumatic. I hope she will be ok, this is not something she is supposed to experience, and this is not something that the whole Ukrainians is supposed to experience too. All the losses, that guy is accountable for this. I currently live in Ukraine, left without electricity,running water in 21st century is horrendous.
Thinking of how these people have suffered, Makes me grateful every day for all my blessings, a home, food, security. Ukrainians are so strong and brave, may this wretched war end very soon. Putin must be charged with war crimes and pay reparations. The trauma cant be compensated at any price.
