Those slippers you think would prevent that will stick over time if you don't loosen them and slip it every once and a while. That also added to my suburban failure.
Good point! I know there are different gear ratios, but didn't even think about it. Just threw in what I had. This truck has the 12T 550 size Holmes Hobbies motor in it. I have been very happy with the power.
Right now I have a Kraton 6s and I like to bash it’s a little, hit some jumps and just have fun. I want either the super rock Rey or the axial exo terra buggy. Which do you think is more fun to drive around at the river, in sand , and just some fun in my backyard ? And is the super rock Rey worth $800 rather than the exo terra ($350) on eBay with upgrades . Please respond
Hmm. Those are two very different vehicles. The SRR can be fun, but is a huge pain to work on. Is a bunch of fun in the dirt. The Exo Terra has been discontinued. Parts availability is a problem. I don't honestly know if I would recommend either.
great work mate plastic gears and teeth all worn away wow
*👍Au👍thumbs up for you plus a full view too*
Thank you!
Awesome upgrade Robinson Racing makes excellent gears
Thanks, they sure do!

Thank you!
Great vib buddy. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my wraith in terms of transmission and gearing. This may help, thanks
Glad it helped!
These gears have done very well for me.
great video and upgraded gears, happy easter to you and your family
Happy Easter to you also!
Nice body great how to video
Thanks!
Great video. Cant go wrong with Robinson Racing gears 👍
Exactly!
Can't believe those had plastic gears or that they lasted that long. My suburban gears were gone two runs on 3s
I was surprised to see that they were plastic. I thought I had already swapped them out.
I typically run on 2S.

@@JimmyB55 That makes sense. Thanks!
Always good wooow
Thank you!
Had to do the same to mine fairly early on. Used it as a chance to lower the gears a bit for more torque

I had the same thing happen to my yeti score
Yep! Those plastic gears just only live so long!

What is your least favorite RC car
Hmm. Good question. I'll have to think about it.
Why not grease them when you had it open
Honestly, I don't really think it needs it. Not sure if it really helps.
Roadside RC it does help putting grease.
@@dragonflyjoyride my instructions for the metal gear upgrade said to grease them
🔥👌🔥👍👍🔥🤜🤛🔥💯🔥
Thanks!
What motor are you running
Im currently running the titan 21t brushed
I am currently running the Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster 12T 550. I have a 21T in the mail to try out.
@@RoadsideRC i under stand that the 12t motors only have a max output of 7.4v so you can only run a 2s battery. Is this true or can i use a 3s. Thanks
