- Officials at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are threatening Palestinian solidarity protesters with suspension.
The Boston-area campus has seen several days of rival demonstrations between supporters of Palestine and Israel.
Students want the school to cut financial ties with Israel.

I was surprised to learn that the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem have been under occupation for 55+ years 😵, according to the international law and UN resolutions (1967-2023). I've come to believe that justice needs power to enforce it. ⚖❤
That isn't true. It's a complicated issue. There was a treaty brokered by President Clinton when he was president, but I don't think that has been entirely implemented yet.

As a graduate of the Sloan School of Management at MIT, I am astonished that students would get involved in an issue like this. I wonder how many of them are actually students. Israel is our ally. There should be no consideration for divestment.

Israel isn't targeting civilians. It is not murdering them. It is waging a war, and civilians are inevitably going to be killed during war.
