- Another campus protest in solidarity with Gaza was suppressed by police in the US.
This time it was on the campus of the University of California.
Since the protests over Israel’s war on Gaza began in April more than 2,000 students and other protesters have been arrested.
Al Jazeera’s Rob Reynolds reports from the campus of University of California in Irvine.

Two weeks the protest was fine. And UCI encouraged peaceful protests. Until the protest group said we need to escalate this and they occupied building, zip tied doors so people couldn't get in or out. Blocked entrances to the area. Then it was considered unlawful assembly.
