This is a sci-fi series, I just received book 7 and needed to refresh my memory! I’m also reading a non-fiction biography of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis - America’s Queen by Sarah Bradford. Finished reading The Postcard by Anne Berest (translated from the French). It was excellent. A hybrid read on audio when out on daily walks and in print at home in front of the fire. a most interesting and intriguing story. followed that with an Audio ARC of the Fortune Seller by Rachael Kapelke-Dale which was a compulsive listen. A great week of reading. Hoping to be part of the group get together on Sunday and talking books. See you there

I read White Malice last year. I knew absolutely nothing about the history of Africa post WWII. Learning about the independence movements and the US, British, Belgian, French activities in Africa with the Cold War looming was both interesting and infuriating, When you are ready to settle in for some history, pick it up.
