I'm not a fan of the miscommunication trope either--I don't think I have the patience for it! But I will commit to second chance romances being my favorite!

Thanks for the introduction to Leslie and 'She Reads Romance'. I just skimmed her podcast episodes, and her 'what to read & what to skp' episodes sound particularly useful--I'd like to hear the pros and cons from an expert as I'm trying to keep an open mind about the genre. (And I may try the new Ali Hazelwood novel Leslie highlighted here, but I was a bit underwhelmed by 'Bride'...)
