Are Ebike Batteries Dangerous? 8 Tips To Prevent a Battery Fire & Breaking News From Lectric Ebikes!

Have you noticed the increase in news about ebike batteries causing deadly fires? I've noticed that the media has been announcing a lot more news about deadly fires caused by Ebike Batteries. Lectric Ebikes has also announced that they have launched an upgraded battery for their Lectric XP 1.0 and 2.0 models! The increased capacity that the new batteries have can increase the average range of a ride by up to 45%! This is huge news and a really strong indication we will continue to see advancements in battery technology and capability.
In this video, I'll share what I've discovered about ebike battery fires and what really causes most of them. They are quite rare, but when they do burst into flames, I've found a few patterns in the news that indicate most battery fires can probably be prevented.
