Do you know if this reel has a little hole in the side of it to add some oil to it? I bought it about 8 months ago and another baitcaster I have has a small hole where you can add oil to keep it lubricated
alot of people dont know, but the grease and oil they use is garbage, you need to clean out the bearings by using alcohol. If you dont in a year the bearings will go out and you'll be left with a faulty reel. I had 4 KK reels/bait-caster go out on me this season, i use to use my reels almost 3-5x's a week for a year. Had to clean out with alcohol and replace couple of them. I do maintenance on them time to time.
I have a Royale Legend II, a GT, Brutus, Sea Spray Crixus and a Crixus Armor X, really like them all, the GT might be the smoothest out of the box, we will see over time! Kastking fan

All of these budget reels will work for five or ten outings. The test is how they perform after 50+ outings
I've had 1 Kastking reel still working great after 5 years.
And a hand full of others in the 2-3 yr range.
Maintenance is key on all reels.

Great video! How would you compare this against the Spartacus 2? I'm looking for a general purpose baitcaster for mainly soft plastics.
I like the GT better personally. It works better with lighter stuff as well.
