Flipping, I have 2 mobile homes on my UA-cam, I am gonna chose one to make over, can I get some of your insight and wisdom , the videos show what I’m working with
Click the link the description to set up a call with me. I’d be happy to look
@FlippinMobileHomes what kind of panel board did you use in this video? We like the way it looks and would like to do something similar with the place we just bought.
You may not know it but your business is helping to solve the housing crisis for single, widowed, divorced, low income or young couples just starting out. The cost of new homes is so high due to inflation putting older homes in very high demand causing bidding wars and so on. This is a great affordable solution, and the remodel couldn't have turned out nicer. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with others.
Don't forget private equity companies buying up the US housing supply.
I am so excited to see this type of flip happening. My husband and I wanted to do this years ago after buying a 14 x 70 single wide for a summer place in a northern state. People looked at us like we were nuts. Fast forward 20 years and its amazing how home prices have priced people out of the market. Its sad. They are perfect for older people, couples just starting out and singles. We are just finishing a complete remodel on the home we bought in 2002. Its amazing how nice they can look and ours is from the 70’s. We figure to rent it to vacationers and perhaps live in it ourselves when a full sized home becomes too much for us so we set it up accordingly and made bedrooms into one, revamped the bath to include laundry, installed a new kitchen, new flooring and redid some ceilings. Years back we added a screen porch and garage. Now we are adding a mud room. I love this little home.
Us retirees need affordable homes that look nice....mobile home might be ur answer
My pressure washing business is finally taking off. I'm gonna finally have profit this year. My goal is one mobile home, and then 5. I'll do one for certain this year.
Wait bro made 20 GRAND OFF THIS!?
Well there's always taxes, but yes!
You didn’t put in new insulation. It’s just not new sheet rock you gotta put new insulation too on the floor.
Exactly what I was thinking, and I'm not in the trades, but did notice that. Profit before doing it right? smh
Love watching folks fixing things up. "Cool beans for sure"! 😆👍
God bless.you brother! It is all about putting people in good redone"no mold" homes❤️🙏
Your skills of communication and dedication to the 'art of the flip' is spellbinding! Don't forget to tar the roof too fellas. That's a great way to ruin a pair of Ked's, right? You are held in my highest esteem truly. Thank You so much and God bless!
You guys don't show the process of fixing 'minor' repairs to the ceiling etc... that leaves me to wonder how much damage is hidden. I know where you replaced the plywood on the floor, the underneath was filthy and probably needed replaced. But, that's just me.
Hard to believe that was the same place. It turned out beautiful. It is so clean and fresh looking. Good job!
This is gold!! I'm here in DfW!!..rehabbing mobile homes and selling them is my dream.. may have to fly up there lol..please do more videos on these!! Thanks
You got it bro
i've watched a few of your videos, and I like them all. I was considering taking down my popcorn ceiling, because I am sick of scraping my knuckles every time I change my shirt, but I figured there might not be much of a panel left in a mobile home after doing that. you didn't show the step, but replacing that panel you cut out with drywall tells me enough. thanks for your help man!!
My first video of urs I’ve ever seen and you both should be very proud. Very well done.
First time watching. I loved every moment of the video. Keep making videos can't wait to see the next one.
Inspirational and wonderful to watch.
Excellent job Excellent Mentor 🙏🏽❤️🥰👏🏽
Congratulations Esko 🙂
Amazing! Good work guys😊
You two did a fantastic job. Love this - you need to host a group of young moms teaching them how to do this!
great idea!
Your young student did a great job! Good things will come his way!
The wood on the wall turned out to be recycled for the floor…. Great job! ❤
Why not put new insulation in the floor. I would be afraid of musty smell
I'm a 50 year old woman, about to start flipping some mobile homes. Must are going to be 70s and 80s and single sides for the most part. Watching this video certainly helped me! It had inspired me to do what I like to do. I'm doing it to help single moms, or le income families that wish to make their dream of owning a home a reality! I started following you and I may have questions in the future.
just right now i find your channel! new subbie for sure. remodel is jaw dropping!
Like the tip about refinishing the bathtub. Foam roller instead of sprayer.
Awesome work 👏🏾 🎉
About to sheetrock and strip popcorn ceiling in our 2000 mobile in the mountains. Yall give me inspiration and hope
Great video! Thanks
So good! Fun to watch the journey and transformation. I was curious about the panel board vs sheet rock. Other than the weight, any concerns using panel instead of sheet rock? Maybe harder to hang things from in the future... but other than that not sure of the downsides. Thanks for the video and congrats Esko!
Put in some insulation and it’ll be just fine
I cant wait to learn and start doing this also🎉🎉❤❤❤
I flipped 4 in a row double wides with garage and bedroom downstairs big deck above with concrete and lumber attached to the home. Bigger than most houses.
Very nice job guys..
I have laminate plank and while it IS an affordable option, I highly recommend LVP if the budget allows. The laminate the park put in before I bought my home has only managed to last 5 years.
@10:20 ( *high pitched voice* ) You put on your gloves young man before I come down there!!!! LOL! 🤣🤣🤣 BK
😂😂
2:11 yep - that is EXACTLY what I was thinking, and would do. Nice one. 🤣
This is awesome! I want to learn
New insulation is best to prevent mold build up. Please rplase the insulation you c and use foam get a contract will a company that would work with you and on insulation
im proud of that kid, good job
Awesome job guys ❤ new subscriber ❤
wow! first time to the channel and was glued for entirety of video, also learned so much, now I feel like going to fix one up myself lol. are there any drawbacks or things to watch out for in fixing a 1968 single wide? I'm new to mobile homes and was reading report from federal government that the old ones only last 30-50 years before becoming structurally unsound. would not want to sell something like that to a buyer. any tips? thanks
Love this!!! Would love to do this as well. Do you move the homes onto your own property and sell from there as well? Where do you store homes that are done and waiting to be sold? Thank you!
❤love it
Good job , i appericate that you didn't put carpet in. Love it. ❤️
Lol
Gloves and safety glasses, better safe than sorry ❤
Ty
Just found your channel. I am thinking about getting into flippin mobil homes. Thanks for sharing this ❤
new subbie here jaw dropping before/after!
Nice work
Where did you get the divider sticks that you separate the panels on the wall please?
Does oil based paint act like satin where if you paint then it dries then do the cutting in or touch up you can see all the areas you cut in or touch ups or imperfections? I like eggshell or flat for the purpose of it not showing when you touch up marks on walls.
Fabulous work fellas -mark Anthony
Thank broski. You know you're definitely invited back this year. Doing things even bigger and better!
Amazing
awesome video...
Question. Why do you use roofing felt on the interior floors of the home ? Thank you. Been watching you for a month now. Thanks
hey, great work, I've been remolding for 20 years, I'm asking for employment and a new start at life. Thanks
*I am curious...is there a reason why you did not replace the insulation under the floor?*
Lol I was going to say where.is your gloves😂
Should have glued the gell out of that subfloor
weird to see single pane windows. NIce job. 3000 is a great deal! I paid 10 for my old needing rehab single wide here in cali.
I got a question where fo you find cheap mobile homes, and how much does it cost to move it to your land
We in the middle of doing ours too.
How much did you invest? I'm definitely going to start following you
New sub. Love ur channel. Can you upgrade a mobile home to resist hurricane strength winds?
❤
I bought a mobile home how do five a rotted floor and Jos to where outer wall and siding are coming down
Could you clarify?
Live 🥳 Flip 🤟
Awesome video! Question: what is the purpose of the roofing felt? (Newbie question)
What was the cost of the rehab?
To level out the floor and to make sure no moisture gets to the wood planks. Flip cost was around 6k
@@FlippinMobileHomes
You are giving my husband and I the courage to do most of the work ourselves. We bought our mobile home $5,000 cash. We are waiting on it to be leveled before we start working on anything. I heard you say work from the floor up, so that’s what we will do. We’ve put in new sinks, toilets, light fixtures, and painted rooms that we know the layout won’t change. Our problems are the floors in the kitchen and front door floor area.
Hope they replaced all that grey poly pipe. Ticking time bomb with those
At 6:40 talking about the bathroom paint. You said use an egg shell and not a flat. Did you mean use an oil based paint and not a flat?
I just subscribed
12:19 recognize that same countertop from your solo flip...
FRFR!!! When we went to pick out a countertop he chose the EXACT same pattern I used in that flip. You better believe I mentioned it lol
Your friend will be back to LA in a couple of years or less
Please help me with the money end. If you are paying about 25K for the home, there is no land, it cost about 5-10K to move, where is the profit after Rentavision?
I really enjoyed the video! You are great! But!!! Please pick better music!😩
That epoxy used on the tubs are a cheap cover up and before long it will be peeling.
You can come fix my mobile home floors for me….smiles
Oil takes forever to dry and it has a strong odor.
That tub gonna peel in a few uses, js...
where are yall located?
I need my mobile home flipped
How can I find a mobile home you sell? I want to buy one
Sorry for the late reply but I have a couple for a sale at the moment. What are you looking for exactly?
How do I apply ?
That insulation looks rough.😮😮
Where’d you get the flooring from for under 1k?
Believe it or not we got it from Lowe’s!
he bought it for $3k, how much did the renovations costs? how much was the lot rent during renovations? i want to buy one and its $2k its not as damaged as the one in the video😄
I want to work with you
😢why y'all change the insulation in the mobile home.
Comment
They don’t know how to use power tools ,that is so obvious. You see these guys in the ER constantly.
Don't judge them they are learning chill
How about uncle Sam?
Definitely gotta give them their cut. There's gross and then there's net
Why don't you shet rock? Is it a cost thing?
When it gets moved it will crack at the seams.
Takes money to make money 💰
That bathtub was a plastic with styrofoam glued to the bottom for support I'm not impressed with this patch work
Not a good way to teach not wearing gloves.
Mom, is that you?
😂
Mobile homes suck. Full of mold!!!!!!
You flippers are helping to make housing unaffordable. You buy up all the cheap mobile homes, not to live in them, but with the goal of driving up the price as much as possible! All for personal gain and pure greed! Might be great for you guys but bad for everyone else. Truly sad.
❤
