- Well, 18 months have passed and I finally dusted my camera off! I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed filming a silly little UA-cam video again and can’t thank everyone who’s stuck around enough!!
As I say in the video please fire away some suggestions you guys want to see!!
Great to see you back on UA-cam, just be yourself as I think that's what people wanted to see before so it won't be any different now,
The chatting sh*t to a camera shall resume in that case😂😂

By the way your love of volvos made me have 2 a v60 d3 and s60D5 in rebel blue currently working my way up to a polestar. Keep the uploads coming 😊

Aww it's lovely to see your wee happy face back on youtube. For me, it has been fun watching the whole lot - the resurrection of the 940, changes to the C30, Mr Milo, the collabs, the buying to sell cars, Emily on the tools, the way you've gone from being a Center Parcs waitress to a youtuber and learning mechanical skills, wrapping skills, running a business, working for a car dealership and now landing (or indeed taking off) a dream job. You're not afraid to try things and to be honest when things may not have gone to plan.
The most important thing is to make the content you want to in the future. Don't feel pressured to do things to try and please a certain audience. Do what you enjoy and it'll make for a good watch as your enthusiam will come through.
Maybe travel content? Make the most of the perk of your job. We’re here for your personality not just the cars. Glad you’re back 😃👍

Thanks for uploading, I enjoyed your channel from lockdown ,to A crash, centre parks, wrapping business, working in a car dealership to air hostest. I missed out all the car tinkering and improvements. Where next? Carry on being yourself and sharing your life with us as you are always doing something different in life. Thanks for all the videos . "It's been 84 years..." is what it's felt like but yay, you're back! 😁 Ideas? Just stick to what you've always done. Your channel was always unique because it was like watching ourselves when we work on our own cars 😅 plus, there's not enough Volvo content so just keep it going! 😂

Glad your back Emily, your mostly the reason why I got my D3 c30 back in 2021 and still have it now, loved your videos been watching since day one pretty much, just be your self on camera (like always) and I’m sure it will come naturally again, so glad your back you was definitely missed x

The noise your pressure washer made was an air lock running through the compressor. Before you turn on the power run the water through the system for a couple minutes to bleed out all the air bubbles trapped in the hose, ie filling up your rinse bucket. This will prolong the life of your pressure washer 😉👍

Glad to see you back with new energy for your cars. Totally echo your sentiments at the end of the video about not caring too much at shows. I'm off to the volvo national tomorrow and for once I've done virtually no prep on my old 240 just going for the people and the day out 🤟
Hope you get the 940 sorted. Could it be something dodgy with the ecu? LH injection isn't the smartest of systems and if it really came to it I know friends of mine have switched to standalone as some brands aren't mega bucks. Food for thought 👍

So glad you’re back!❤ I had a very similar problem with my Honda, it was turning over but sounded like it was choking when trying to start it up so we changed the spark plugs and fuel filter and it started perfectly fine and has been fine ever since!xx

Need to start with basics on the 940, they're dead easy engines check you've got spark and fuel, could even be filter or pickup blocked!
We’ve got spark cos it started with easy start so it’s some kind of fuelling issue, I’m going to guess it being sat for so long it needs a good fresh up on the fuel system
@@emilyshields3667 on my 360 turbo which same engine i had similar issue and it was just a blocked fuel feed, hopefully you get to thr bottom of it!

Good to see you back and the car scene hasn't changed that much still people messing with the same cars and doing the same things so carry on with what you were doing would be good to see the corsa rebuild and a few mods put on it and a wrap

Yes em dog. Brilliant to see this. I got excited when you bought the merc off Lee thinking that was your return. Ut hey you're here now. What drew me to your videos was our determination to do every job yourself and you learned Nd progressed. It was great to see you going from messing up a bonnet wrap to opening your own wrapping co.mpany. so to conclude I'm just fonn say dont try just be you with the F..K IT attitude Nd not a care about what people think. Confidence will return. X
I'd say continue with the car vids and if you're up for it start doing stuff when on your travels. The analytics will start to tell you what folk are interested in. Might be one, might be the other, might be a combo. If a combo you could even consider keeping the car channel separate and start a sister channel or whatever it's referred to for the travel stuff. Good to see you back :)

Amazing to see you back, well done on the new job, have you thought of the fuel filter? If it's spluttering, it might not be getting enough fuel where it's been off the road for a while and got gummed up x

Really nice to watch your video and look forward to the next. Regards your 940 there is a fuel injection relay inside the engine bay, turbo cars the nearside turret and non-turbo drivers side turret, hope thiis is useful.
There's a big nut on the fuel rail holding the main fuel line, undo it and see if fuel comes out when the ignition is turned on. Could be a fuel pump problem, but it's pretty easy to get out. Won't be the injectors imo.
18 months, flipping eck, how is that even possible? Good to see you back. I think you will make great cabin crew, certainly entertaining, good for you and enjoy the trips away. Make the most of the sun, coz we ain't getting much here.

Fuel tank lift pump. That's what happened to my 940. If it is, don't neglect to compress the spring before you extract it from the tank, otherwise it will drive you insane as you try to do the impossible. Good luck.

These Volvos have 2 fuel pumps! I got caught out myself could hear a pump running in the back but there is also a pump under the passenger floor! Catches all the road debris and fails then won’t start,

If the 940 has been sitting around for 18 months, could it just be that the petrol has gone off? Sometimes adding new fuel works but if that doesn't do the trick, you might need to syphon the old stuff out of the tank and put fresh fuel in.
Personally I'd love to see more 940 content. Hope the crew job is going well. I may well see you at Tui at some point

Fantastic having you back on You Tube Em. Great surprise. Deffo want to see you working on the Corsa.. is there a set of points in your volvo distributor. If so, are they gapped correctly ?
This can cause a none start.
Yep the distributor is absolutely fine, the car did start with easy start so we now know it’s fuel related, just chase up where that issue is 😁
@emilyshields3667 ,then I would Investigate the fuel pump relay in the engine fusebox is fully functioning and allowing the fuel pump in the tank to operate. Hope this helps

Well you can sort of do travel vlogs in the middle of the car stuff which is a win win, everyone loves travel vlogs. The car stuff is good, but you are also just a great person so vlogging will work too.
I’d be inclined to check the fuel pump, check for pressure at the engine.
Maybe start doing some travel vlogs from your stop overs, also day the life of emily. People are interested in you and your personality. Thats your biggest selling point, and that is YOU. Dont change who you are ever. Its really good to see you back!

BUT! - UA-cam Content makers very often think that their channel is totally dependent on the Original Niche` they started with - In your case - CARS!! - Cars! & More Cars ...
