since having the ufe in April I feel awesome! It's been two months and so far so good.....two periods have been light just taking it easy, like you stated ufe Is a God send
How are you doing 6 years later?
Had the Ufe procedure in Atlanta. Was told my prognosis was 90%. He was so sure I was an excellent candidate for Ufe. He was wrong. It is going on a year now and all my symptoms are dramatically worse. Now I am facing a Hysterectomy next month after all the pain from the Ufe. Yes we do have options ladies but sometimes getting a 2nd or even third opinion can help you make a more informed decision. Ufe did not work for me but maybe it can help others.
Cookie's Natural how do you feel since your hysterectomy?
I have been watching your videos thank you for all the detailed information my UFE procedure is next week January 5th, I am 47 years old I have 5 fibroids and a enlarged uterus ,I am praying I have awesome results the way that you have had , I am so tired of this battle
i been watching your vids. scanning now that i am at work but will go in on them this evening. You look great! thank you for doing this. I am a little nervous but it's gotta get done. I find out some options on Tuesday.. Stay well and may you continue to be blessed!
Thank you for sharing. I appreciate it 👍
Just wanted to tell you you look absolutely great I am so excited for you and now just seeing all of your videos I am excited for myself because For the First Time I feel like I can be free of being a prisoner of these fibroids and can possibly have a life outside the house. thank you again so much for journaling your procedure I so appreciate you as soon as I get the date and have the procedure I will let you know how it goes!
UFE 3 days ago. Still in pain but glad it’s done. I feel confident about the results.
I'm glad I watched your video. I was considering getting the hysterectomy, but deep down in my heart I wasn't comfortable with that decision. I don't have a lot of pain with my fibroids (yet.. lol i'm forty)...I look like im in my first trimester most of the time. From watching your video I feel this is the right choice for me. Part of me is unsure whether or not I want to have another child. Thank you for sharing your story!!!
Thank you soooo much for informing me about this procedure. My date is set & I'm already feeling blessed through your tears and testimony. I suffer with bad cycles and I'm looking forward to this change. God bless you for sharing this! I'm only 2hrs away from you, I guess I'll see u one day at the wear white pants seminar---fyi (yes, thrifting is the way to go) I appreciate you girl! Be blessed #I'mreadythankstou
Keep me posted and I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery, love ya my sister be blessed ;-)
Yes SonYay they told me to at least give it six months and to not come back before that unless there's problems they said it takes at least that long to be able to see some positive results but i do appreciate your vlogs so much they help give me a synopsis of what may happen and I'm not sure how the technique of the procedure is going to go but I'll keep you posted thank you again you're the best god bless you
cutiepotooty
I had mine done about two weeks ago
My side hurts occasionally. I can't eat certain foods. My stomach hurts after I eat. So smoothie's are the best thing
You are truly an inspiration. I need to lose at least 25lbs.
shebad10 ❤❤❤ Everything you have seen on my channel is by the grace of God and I will explain this soon. For many of years I suffered with fibroids and I always felt unhappy, sick, depressed, stressed and swollen. I wasn't able to lose weight and always thought I was sucking in. Today I am healed and plan on enjoying my life for the first time in many years. If that's your heart desire to lose 25 lbs. it shall be done in Jesus Name, if I can be of any assistant to you I am here. It is now my mission to bring awareness about the Uterine Fibroid Embolization procedure to help other women find their happiness.Thank you for your love and support...be blessed ;-)
thank you so much for sharing. I'm 31 and no kids, just had my MRI 10.17.15. We have the same height and original weight and have the exact same symptoms. I'm so excited and my consult is tomorrow 10.29.15. I'm so ready for healing and peace! God bless you!
+Danielle Cheatam
I was immediately advised by someone (Gessie Thompson) not to do the surgery since I desire children. I'm still trying to figure out my best route.
I would suggest you consult with a specialist and weigh all your options because you have to live with your overall decision. And remember everyone's body is not the same I was told the same thing about having more kids because of my age and me approaching menopause. I still have my cycle and I can have more kids if I wanted. Thanks for watching, be blessed ;-)
+sonyabeonit Thank you Sonya, I have an appointment with a Reproductive Endocrinologist on 10.30.15 because it's believed my two submucosal fibroids are pertruding into my uterus causing infertility...so we will see what happens.
How are you today??
She tell the truth
Yes doctor lipman just did mine i fill get it just hurts like hell for 5 days after.
My appointment is booked for 5/2820
I’m so ready for this nightmare to end! Thank you for the video!
Thank you for sharing. My surgery is November 3, 2015. I'm looking forward to feeling better. Take great care.
+VytaTheDiva Please keep me posted, you're in my prayers. Thanks for watching be blessed ;-)
+sonyabeonit thanks for responding. I'm a little bummed today. I started my cycle and I hope my procedure is not cancelled.
+VytaTheDiva It shouldn't be cancelled my cycle started on the day of my procedure, it's not a vaginal procedure my doctor made a small cut on my bikini line and used a needle to inject the beaded fluid into the blood arteries that supply blood to the fibroids. Your procedure is going to go well, thanks for watching be blessed ;-)
How are you doing today??
@@lovebug1180 I am not sure if the question is for me but I am doing amazingly well. It was the best decision I could have ever made.
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾Praise God I didn’t find this by accident
Thanks for sharing! I'm having the myomectomy soon. I'm not a candidate for the UFE procedure, as I still want to have kids. Some doctors say it's ok, but from all of my research and consulting with my own doctor, it's not the best route for me. However, I'm glad I watched your journey. I would certainly go through with the procedure if I had kids already.
realdeal1703
What made you not be a good candidate for the UFE procedure? We're your fibroids too big? Were they blocking your fallopian tubes?
@@Kre8iviT27 It's such a new (for medical treatments) procedure. It's only been performed since 1995. So there's not enough data to know the true affects it has on women who still want to have kids. I knew that I wanted to have children, so I didn't want to take the risk. According to the Mayo Clinic (and other research), "If you want to have children, talk to your doctor about the risks of UAE and how it might affect your fertility and future pregnancy. There is limited data on the affects that UAE has on pregnancy. Myomectomy is the standard of care for removing fibroids when future pregnancies are planned."
@Kre8ivT27 I did end up having the full Myomectomy. Ended up having 16 fibroids removed in 2015. Felt amazing afterwards. So far so good in 2021.
@@WithLoveSonyaB. What type did you have? I have 3 large intramural( biggest is 13cm), one pedunculated subserosal, and some little ones. My gyno is adamant about a hysterectomy because he thinks I would lose too much blood during a myomectomy. I do want to have children and have seen videos of women who have had children after the UFE procedure.
I ordered my mama bump today. And using my heat pack.
Question: Did your cycle change as far as the time of the month it came?
Hi, girl you looking good, there is no way u can be @ 174! I had a full hysterectomy due to fibroids, wasn't trying to hv anymore kids or monthly visits, and I feel great, thxs for sharing, I'm going to invest in a newer blender to get on those smoothies
La Torshia James God is good. I did not start making smoothies until after my heart situation that recently happen in August. I am truly excited to be able to look down at my treasure box while standing up; haven't seen it in years...lol! Thanks for watching, be blessed ;-)
I'm about to have this procedure this Monday how long it toke you , to healed and start going back to work . Because i need to go back to work right away ..
So so glad your feeling great ;-) Did you say your bday is 8/28? Oh my goodness we share the same birthday lol....tfs
Jeneen Wilson Next year we need to celebrate together, 08/28- Virgo. Thanks for watching, be blessed ;-)
Indeed ;-)
I had my UFE procedure today, so far so saw good. The pain is minimal, but waiting see what the next day reveal. Did you also have a nerve blockage?Your result is a blessing.
How did you feel the next day? Mine is schedule for next week
I had the UFE and I am 5 days post-op. I had a nerve block. The pain was bad as the nerve block and anesthesia wire off, but the pain meds are very helpful. So far I’m just having a few issues with gas. My period started 2 days after surgery and it was surprisingly much much lighter (no clots)!! I’m still monitoring the outcome of this procedure. So far, so good👍🏾
I am considering have this procedure done. How long were you in pain afterwards? And how often were you in pain?
+Cynthia McGill I was in a lot of pain for the first two weeks and thereafter I felt some pain not much. I now have lighter cycles for my entire 5 days. I had a lot of fibroids. Thanks for watching be blessed ;-)
Please excuse all the grammatical errors on my text my phone is tripping next time I'll use my iPad when I was commenting on your vlog lol
How much weight did you lose from having the ufe?
scorpioray1
sonyabeonit "30 lbs in 3 months?
Hey lady just had my MRI it's count down time
cutiepotooty Will your doctor be performing a dissoluble closure on your procedure? I just had a subscriber post her doctor stated her fibroids are still big after a month, I do not understand why she went back so soon for a follow-up. I was told by my doctor you have to give it at least 3 months for the healing process and to come back before if having any complications. When you have your procedure do not be alarmed give it 3 months and please follow all medication and heating instructions., be blessed ;-)
I know you had your surgery today (Friday), Praying for a speedy recovery, I am here if you need me ..be blessed ;-)
Thanks Sonya I'm in the hospital now the pain meds made me sick to my stomach and they also found out I had a intestinal blockage they are gonna put a stint in to keep open, it was effecting my liver however I made it thru the UAE with flying colors Thanks for your encouragement your truly a wonderful Lady God bless you and your family always!
Praise God you made it thru you're going to be fine, keep me posted. Get some rest and know I am here if you need me ;-)
