Do you completely numb up the patient during the procedure? Are the cramps post procedure similar to child birth cramps? Want to know how bad it’s going to be.
I heard it was not that bad and they said that they do not put you under completely. I am having mine done and 9 days and they said I will be in an out. And I heard the cramping is not that bad I’m hoping not when you just said related to childbirth, I think my heart just dropped.
@@meaghans4591 I got my UFE procedure done two weeks ago. They did sedate me but my eyes were open the whole time and I was surprised when doctor said it's done. I even remember that I asked nurse standing near me that have we started yet? She said "yes", I didn't feel a thing. I couldn't see any other doctors and or the team with giant monitors and machine, just one nurse who was standing on my right side monitoring. They went thru my left arm wrist artery. There was no cut just point size incision and put band it on top of it. Now after procedure till today I had period like pain which comes and goes. I did take pain killers for 2-3 days and had little fever around 100. As far as my stay I was already admitted to hospital for another reason and this procedure was planned by OBGYN while I was there, so I did stay for few days after but again for other reasons. Don't worry no pain like childbirth for me cramps comes and go. I don't take any pain killers as it was tolerable for me and also I am on blood thinners so I am avoiding. Too early for me to see any results but I am waiting patiently. Hope that helps and good luck with your procedure.

@@TehminaTalib100 My bleeding has completely stopped. Just spotting, that too last one day and mild pain. No use of pads or tampons anymore just liner. I'm very satisfied with this procedure, regrets not getting it done sooner. Keep in mind I was 46 years old when I got this procedure done. I think age matters. As far as fibroids I got my scan done in February they started showing signs of shrinking. Will get another ultrasound in few months.
Everyone's experience is different i jst did mines 2 weeks ago and that pain for me felt worse than child birth as i do know i have 3 in which 2 i delivered naturally vaginally i would rather give birth the pain meds i didn't feel until the 2nd day keep in mind my procedure was done in the winter and cold worsens our cramps which could be why it hurt so badly for me but it definitely hurted to high heavens for me.
Doctor is it normal to pass a small blood clot after ufe please help I’m scared has anyone experienced this after ufe
I have multiple fibroids and I had done a myomectomy with lots of small fibroids remove. It could be dangerous to have more scars in my uterus if I want to get pregnant. It is possible to get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy after an UFE?
