- A bunch of babies will have quite the story to tell when they grow up. They were all brought into the world during last year's epic hurricanes. All of their moms went into labor as hurricanes Irma and Harvey were barreling towards Florida and Texas. Carrie Hernandez had to give birth in the dark. "It was pretty scary since there was no power," she told Inside Edition. "So the only thing I had when I delivered him was just one of those camping lights and that was it." #InsideEdition

It wasn't good people were kidnapping children, people died of food poisoning, people didn't take baths for weeks. mind you the girls had cold water and the men had hot water. We even took showers in front each other because they had no doors, It was horrible. 😢😢😢😢 some army guards were very rude to us. Most of them was really nice❤. We couldn't even have a dance party, they called the cops saying we were fighting. One man caught a seizure when they broke up the dance, I was mad 😑. I was ready to go home.

I live in Florida and while this was happening, it scared me so much. My mom decided to drive all the way up the state to get away with it. There wasn’t enough room in the car for all of us (mom dad brother dog and I). My dad sadly had to be left behind... he stayed back to take care of the house. When we left the state I didn’t think I would see him again. But now it’s 2018 and I’m okay along with all my family and my house. I’m so grateful.

Wow that’s crazy my aunts baby was born also during hurricane Harvey but luckily we were able to get to the hospital before all the traumatic stuff happened. Baby came out normal on August 29 2017 thank the lord. God is god all the time even in horrible situations.❤️
