loved it great way to show what you can make with se but one pointers for a fight like this. your defending ships would not have stat there they would have moved to intercept the enemy ships and then slowly fall back to the station for the add fire support. besides that loved it

Very Cool. I love the ship designs and the camera work. I feel like the choreography could be improved though. Not a great deal happens once the ships engage, they shoot lots, and then one side eventually loses.
It might be worth putting in some autopilots to get the combatants moving around, or even better, get some friends in to play both sides.
Can't wait to see the next one :)

Indeed. Should be electrical discharges at best (and not in the absolute vacuum of space, of course). Sparks, in a sense, too..

Well, if there's pressurized hydrogen and leaking oxygen, it would be possible, but aside from that, you're right. Fire is a really hard thing to get when the void keeps swallowing up all its fuel.

I'm curious what player made weapons and supporting mods like advanced ai scripting would have done to this battle using the current vanilla weapons. The mods looked pretty enough and I really liked the central ring thruster ship design. Pretty!

I love the ship designs, but from there it's all downhill. Ships nearly ramming each other while still firing guns point blank. No maneuvering or tactical display, just move into range and trade blows.
Again, the ships are the high point, the rest needs work. Scripts aren't going to cut it unless they are robust. Get some friends together and try for a real battle. I know the MP is buggy at best but YTers like Wasted and CaptShack manage MP fleet battles, some just take many takes.
