Nothing says you are nice person more than lovingly killing your villagers while they attempt to escape you trying relocating them into their new very own prison building, and then start wearing their face skin as your own, so very wholesome! 🥰
I hope that solves the issues with the world. Boy, that was a LOT of villagers! Glad you figured out a simple solution. The build looks really cool, even with only 2 block types.

@@wattlesplays With a simple piston you can create an on off switch for your villager breeder so it doesn't overflow. You did it yourself in the jungle base but haven't built it like that since. This will also start to happen with the villagerbreeder in the superflat world
Should I feel bad about how much serotonin that ending gave me? Nah.
I've had this lag problem recently as well, it ended up being the huge chest room I had. Each chest, item frame and signs (especially ones with glow ink on them) causes lag. The only way I was able to kinda fix it was to download a mod (fast chests I think or something like that) that turns chests from tile entities to solid blocks. The only shame is it removes the animation when opening the chests. It's not a perfect fix but it makes it so I can walk near my storage room without lagging so bad I can't move. I've also heard replacing the chests with barrels could help a bit.

What I'm wondering is why you didn't have an off switch for the breeder like you did in previous worlds
I think you need to put a Warden in the jail to keep the villagers in line
His "different solution" should be to send the villagers to meet the warden.

Wattles, been meaning to say, I think the lag at the storage colosseum is all the item frames, they can cause the lag in mass amounts in a world, especially so close together!

Might I suggest a smaller setup for the baby villagers to grow in. If you shrink it down then excess villagers die to entity cramming like in the cow farm... and then you also don't need to really get your hands dirty or think about it to hard after the original purge.
I love how the whole vibe of the video is all about fixing the corruption of the video until wattles drops the bomb that he is creating a maximum-security prison for the capital offense of world corruption by villager😂

JonBams has a multi layer banana shape villager trading hall that has 500+ villagers in it. It has it in the ocean and turns down the render distances to not load whole thing at once. It’s “big and dumb” theme as his whole hardcore world is.

As for an offshore depository, totally build an automated mine cart delivery system to the resort destination. The facility guards would be pillagers with stone enclosure walls to contain the masses. No, I didn't just setup a prison system. I meant it to be a tropical getaway resort. With potted mushroom as umbrella drinks.

*Me* : slightly disappointed, but still interested, putting away popcorn sounds

The build looks awesome, but it also reminded me of something I've seen before 🤔..... After doing the mental equivalent of rummaging through the boot of your car it all came rushing back - Wario's Castle in Super Mario Bros: 6 Gold Coins (for the Game Boy). It's not a perfect match but the vibe is there and the vibe is GOOD!!!!! Nicely done 👏👏👏

would have been more fun to see all the villagers moved, maybe an underground passage with water streams, or a centipede of 100 workstations being inched along with a trail of villagers following

Another factor for lag could be the all the chest since they're aren't considered blocks but entities

You should zombify them and turn them into mob switches. One for the overworld, for the nether, and for the end.

Wattles, Wattles, Wattles....... you missed a perfect opertunity to create an area to do sacrifices to the Warden!!! You could have had a bubble column taking them up so it would run by itself and there would be no reason to turn off the villager breeder. The Warden would even have a fun new hobby 😁🤣🤣🤣

If you ever need to row a boat up hill…. Just drop a couple of water sources at the top. If you do it near a corner it helps you row straight as well.
9:45 you see, yesterday i did realize the same thing, when i was using the cutting stone i noticed the lack of the stone wall
…only breed the villagers you need and shut it down lol. I keep two extra in the breeder and shut it down until I need it

When I made my villager breeder I was afraid of this happening to my world. Which is why I gave it an off switch very early on. It basically just pushed blocks on top of the beds with pistons to signal to the villager that the beds are obstructed so they can't breed.

Should have built an underground water path to the new Villager Castle, with a bubble column raising them up inside it.
System over utilization is not a system corruption. You have created a simulation that needs too much memory or cpu time and congrats to you :) ... great content keep it up!

If you need to get rid of the villagers, then just add a few zombies into it. Have you ever seen that cartoon called Superjail?
How about that Gardian? Should he be in the prison for his crimes against your beautiful world?
Things can cause lag:
•mobs path findings
•mobs spawn attempt
•entity blocks(chest, hopper, item frame, furnace)
•entities(item, boat, armor stand)
•chunk loading
•block update(water, lava, redstone powder)
•light level update
Pros might let us know the other issue.
every prison has guard towers and fences all around the outside. The prisoners would love that you used wood for the floors instead of concrete. lol
Hey wattles, ever heard of a flipping minecart track? Just build one from the breeder to the new housing unit, it's fast, and controlled and better yet no burning necessary.
One thing you can do is leave some rails on the floor, magma cubes as well.
Villagers, and mobs in general, do not pathfind on top of these blocks.
In case you decide for a villager trading hall, leave them on the minecart, on top of a rail, and place a magma block under their respective workstation.
As far as the processing is concerned, less burden on it is the result since the pathfinding AI will have less to process.
Haven't read all the posts. But... Easier way to move villagers is a vertical shaft with water at the bottom and then a water pathway to a bubble column to shoot them back up. Same as if you were making a zombie/skeleton spawner farm. Would save a lot of time.

Boating the villagers across? Whew. I would have taken one look at that swarm, then set up a rail line between the breeder and the prison. Water line to flush them into a corner, dispenser to pop out rail carts to pick up villagers in the corner, detector rail (or is it activator? I get the names mixed) to shake them out 2 blocks up at the end. Profit.
Hey wattles if that’s not the problem maybe it’s the item frames in the storage system sorry to tell you but you might have to remove them if the lag stays without the villagers

The Minecraft weather update light rain to monsoon, snow flurries to blizzards, tornados, and fog with reduced visibility for heavier weather conditions
Rails. Minecart. Set it up once, and you can transport them all super easy.
When this things happen you need a fail safe and by fail safe i mean a pit of lava underneath the villager breeder to reset the horde of villgers.
Oh, hmm...out of control villager breeder, a lightning rod, and a channelling trident. That could be a new meta for witch farming.
You should add a series of villager sorters to control population with entity cramming. Then you can just let it run and keep a supply of villagers at all times.
By the way, why not add some kind of viewing deck that can be reached via some kind of fire escape built like this:

This diagram is viewed from the top, just keep repeating it until the second story is reached.
wouldn't the better solution have been to set up a rail line? you've got a really good iron farm so the iron requirements won't be that big an issue... make sure the rail ends at the prison with an activator rail and it will boot them out of it for you. then you can pick up the carts, and repeat. Set up the loading corner right and they'll practically jump into the carts for you...
A trading hall would have been awesome! But more like a big Market that gives the vibes of Asian/Middle Eastern markets, but with villagers!
You could have some of them isolated, zombified, named and make an episode on creating a zombie villager mob switch :-)

It's so much easier to move villagers in bedrock. Boats on leads, boats float up stream with villagers when rowing or pulled...
I have the same problem with Bees, I exaggerated and multiply they as f*, and I'm having some leggy, I don't know how to solve this, without kill they.

Looks like your monster mobs are very likely overloaded. That or the loose villager opened the door somehow
I've noticed villagers just need wine, cheese, and time to breed. No beds needed. It has been like this for over a year now.
