One strategy for the giant caves, if you have plenty of potion items, is night vision potions. Same with ancient cities; that way you can see the sculk blocks without risking placing torches and triggering sculk blocks
that right there is a big brain move
Nothing spawns there but the warden anyways so night vision potions are actually safer than you'd think.

Did you figure out if they were two separate cities or just the same one? I really enjoyed today's episode. I love Stardew Valley also. I keep wanting to do the no using the shipping bin challenge, but I am waiting until the rainy season comes and outdoor activities grind to a stop to hunker down and focus on the game. In the meantime, I am building a woodland mansion to scale in my super flat world.
i checked the coords afterwards and theyre definitely different! theyre waaay too far apart!

I second this. Ive been waiting for all the nice builds with all the villagers and their jobs linked to them. Or just seeing a trading hall in general. Im annoyed of the villagers sitting in that hole
Today I found out Wattles is also an Aurora fan! Amazing. Ive met her in person twice and even got to gift her some of my artwork and get a personalized signed poster encouraging me in my battle with cancer. Aurora is without a doubt one of the most amazing human beings around. Glad to hear Wattles is a fan.

I personally LOVE Stardew Valley,one of my favourites! I’d definitely watch a Let’s Play if you were ever to make one.
Just a suggestion that I hope you consider. I would really like to see a series where you play terraria as it recently got a major update! Obviously you already got 2 series going on so just keep it in mind! :]
the third part of the zodiac is the ascendant. I mean, one of the big three of the Zodiac besides the sun sign, moon sign is the ascendant :)
Since you discovered a couple ancient cities, a nice project I've done with the few I've found is once you disable all the shriekers, mine out the area to expose the city to the surface. Massive project that yields a lot of resources that requires quite the grind but worth it in the long run. Think a project of that scale would be just as if not more cooler than the massive beetroot farm you made.

I've only been playing minecraft for about a year to enjoy it with my kids. I then started a let's play of my own. I don't have much to go on but I'm loving 1.19 so far! Another amazing episode
Wattles in your superflat hardcore world you could trade blacksmiths for diamond armor and tools or once you hit the nether you can loot bastions

I really miss the jungle world, I would totally be down if the next series went back to that world with reset chucks outside the base
I know this may seem weird, but I rlly like your survival series. And I want to see if you can obtain this block: A glitched block. But not just any glitched block, A full set of any armor (hint: Diamond and below) has to be enchanted with feather falling. The boots sure... but can you enchant the helmet? Or the chestplate?
You don't have to do it... and unfortunately im broke so I cant even pay you. So your choice

Always love a good explortles episode. Really lucrative cave session, and *hard agree* on the favorite update. The nether update is what got me to finally start playing Minecraft on my own. Lots of 1.16 love from me. Still feels good whenever I head into the nether and see all those awesome biomes.
A Stardew Valley series would be a pretty cool idea for wattletoo, dude. Also, respect to swiss cheese, but pepper jack is pretty bomb.

I started watching from the first episode, and now that i have had to move on to older series, and I gotta say the nether survival was amazing. My favorite update is 1.18 because it changed the caves forever and added amazing mountain biomes
Wattles, I forgot until just now there is actually an ancient extinct species of camel that was HUGE. IIRC, it was like 3 times bigger overall than modern camels. And I love their scientific name. Their scientific name was “Gigantocamulus Spatulus”.
I like using silk touch on big caving trips to conserve space. And break the ore blocks at base

Should've been using silk touch on the ores and craft the coal into blocks for more efficient storage
The coal is a good point, but the silk touch on ores confused me. You'd get more crafting the ore items into blocks, than you would having ore blocks 👀

Go find a Stoney peaks biome to get an insane amount of coal and iron! That is the only way to find large amounts of coal and iron in the new ore generation. Also there are emeralds too!

Yo, sir what do you think about making a huge terraforming project by making an artificial biom (mb jungles in a memory of the Guide) or you can change part of your base since you want to add more trees and leaves to it. Love you ^^
Me, my bro and my cousin made a server and we found an ancient city so we emptied our inventories but kept a torch and an axe and the trip was very very successful, we all left with 3 enchanted golden apples each.

You can uuse a crafting table and put 9x9 raw copper to create raw copper blocks for more space. Might as well bring one of your shulker boxes as well

I completely understand the "softer" looking upper ores after caving. One question: Wouldn't it be easier, and eat up less inventory, to Silk Touch the ores and only break the coal when torches are needed?

Wattles, Local Newfie here! I'm glad that our goodest bois are one of your two favorites. Just wanted to tell you that when most people talk about Newfoundland, whether it's the place or the puppers, they're pronouncing it incorrectly.
You actually did pretty good. You got the "new" and "fin" parts down pat! However you don't pronounce the "land" part like you would in Finland for example. You actually pronounce it like the word Land.
So when you put it all together it's New-fin-land! I just figured you might want to know part of the pups origin
