Homes on the beach should be on steel enforced concrete stilts 10 feet high.
These should be rezoned as FLOOD ZONES. No building allowed due to frequent, deadly flooding.

Bull sharks can live in brackish water. I’m not a marine biologist so I don’t have a definite answer but my guess is they could.
Sharks can’t get in those lakes. There are many here.

Insurance is the same as anywhere else without wind mitigation. Taxes are 1% of purchase price. The HOA’s in both subdivisions is less than 100 a month. Neeeeeext
