I have visited many beaches around the world, nothing beats the Florida Gulf Coast. I took it for granted as a teenager, but I wouldn’t trade living here for anything. Yea, it’s hot as hell during the summer… but it’s so beautiful, makes up for it.
I live in Santa Rosa Beach , I love all of the State Parks. Eden Gardens is a gem, Grayton Beach State Park is wonderful , you also have Topsail , Deerlake , and Camp Helen State Parks. In addition you have the massive Point Washington State Forrest area which is loaded with miles and miles of Hiking Trails. Plenty of things to do , fishing , hiking, and four wheeling to mention a few. A State Park Video would be nice.
There are a few alligators but most of them are on the smaller size and they are more afraid of you . I have never seen any on the hiking trails ,but have seen afew down by the water in Eden Gardens Park , but just juveniles. So to answer your question not a problem in this area , low probability of even seeing one.@@kingastrzelec1356
@@kingastrzelec1356 I've heard of very few attacks from alligators on humans or pets. The best advice I can give you is use precaution. We have actually gone out to look for alligators and it seems to me they don't really want anything to do with us.
Just putting our amazing home up for sale right near Pier Park. It's been great to live here for the past 9 years, but we're heading back to TN. Going to for the east end of the state and not the west. Grew up in Memphis and couldn't drag me back there!
I’m about to start another channel up for living in the Smokies! Love it there! Definitely going to wind up being our “summer home” during tourist season here. Shoot me the address of your property near Pier Park. Maybe I can connect one of our buyers from this channel to your home! john@mrbeachteam.com
Hey thank you for making this video buddy. I live in Niceville and it was a pleasure watching this. Great video for tourists looking to visit or move to who want an inside look at whats to offer here. Great work, you got a sub!
Funny you ask that, we were actually considering doing the when we first moved here so we could eventually turn it into an investment property once we found a permanent home. So people that think outside the box definitely do these things, the problem we found with making that your permanent residence is lack of storage and that you may not know you neighbor from week to week. With us having little kids we didn't want to risk living next to tourist coming in and out. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out! 850-943-7777
Dogs can’t walk on the beach in the panhandle, stupid Destin and Fort Walton Rules from their county. Dogs are free on the west coast of Florida in Lee County. You can walk your dog and play in the gulf water by Fort Myers Beach. I like places that don’t hate dogs.
I like places that don’t hate dogs.....REALLY BRO? GROW UP, I HAVE DOGS AND THEY PEE AND POOP EVERYWHERE, BUT NOT INSIDE OUR HOME. I LOVE THEM BUT I WOULD NEVER TAKE THEM TO ANY BEACH.
Dogs are obnoxious, have worms, poop and pee everywhere. Not what you need in a non designated dog spot. Go to the dog park or let them roam outside your house. Theres always someone like this, i dont get how you dont get it.

the beaches are nice there. during the ice age glaciers didn't go as far south as the smokies.
You are right. The quarts was deposited over time via the Apalachicola river.
Nice production, and great overview of the area
Much appreciated! I’ve been thinking of joining the PCB Chamber. I hope to meet you at a future meeting!
Catching up on your videos. keep up the good work

Do you know how often families move into those beach front condos on front beach and Thomas Dr?

MY WIFE AND I ARE VISITING AT THE END OF JULY FOR A WEEK TO CONSIDER RELOCATING TO THE 30A AREA.
Give me a shout if you want to discuss anything real estate-related while you're here. We can meet for coffee. I know some good spots! 850-943-7777

I love sweet bay! What an awesome community! I’m going to do a feature on it soon.
are aligators in the lake?
Signs that say there are, so I guess they're in there! I haven't seen them!
I’m selling my house, on the Panhandle, and I getting out!
Well we would be honored to help you sell it!
Good call - I grew up on the Panhandle - it has now been invaded and is a Northern colony - no thanks

I piss and shit in the gulf every time I go swimming out there.
Pensacola Beach is great, but the city and county (Escambia) are a total crap-hole.
That is awesome, but that isn't the area I cover! We cover Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay Counties.
