I've watched three dramas he did including World of honor and needless to say he is a brilliant and versatile actor. He is a lot more talented than many pretty faces in the industry. He is superb. I disagree with that analysis. The west mix homosexuality with BL and this is hugely misunderstood. The culture of BL is simply to serve the female audience. That's not the issue mainly written by women. The issue is many production companies are cutting corners and just "adding" BL storylines in just to gain quick profits because they think it's a short-term money spinner. Over the long-run, the audience get poor standard idol-lead dramas clogging up the industry, crowding out talent and genuine story telling. Many east asian country have an uncomfortable relationship with homosexuality. It's criminal in some. It is extremely unfortunate and undeserving that Zhehan had to suffer through all the fabrications that hurt his family and his career. It appears that there are those who felt a need to control Zhehan because of his fame in the film Word of Honor. Gong Sun cannot be blamed for distancing himself from Zhehan because there were a couple sites that showed he was also being targeted. Netzines keep spouting nonsense about celebrities trying to gain fame for themselves thinking they are somebody when all they really are are spitful nobodies. It would be great if his fans would advocate and champion the studios to release the films he's made and to have Zhehan start making films again. He's worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices to live his dream. His sellout concerts are a good indication that many still love Zhehan, and feel that he's worth buying a ticket to see him perform on stage. Enough is enough! I can no longer remain silent. The truth needs to be told. Word of Honour is released. He and Gong Sun are as thick as thieves. They seem to be the best of friends. Or so it seemed, right? Once the promotions for the film were done, Zhehan never heard from Gong Sun. Not so much as. phone call! So GS was not even in the picture to be able to distance himself from ZZ. Now given their tight friendship, you would think GS would have been the first one to support ZZ when the poop hit the fan. Yet he was mysteriously silent. This made no sense to me. Was he afraid of speaking out lest he become a target himself? Were there consequences so unbearable he chose to opt out? Now, to the best of my knowledge, only one incident occurred involving GS. It was pretty tame and involved the entire crew he was working with on a drama. And it happened long after ZZ problems started. It involved a restaurant the crew was eating lunch at. A mix up in reservations. Something to that effect. Sound suspicious to you? It did to me. It was not targeting GS per se, and was just too easy to set up by those in the entertainment industry already targeting ZZ. Why would they do this mild prank? To take the heat off of GS. At that time, rumours were starting to circulate. And rumours sometimes only get things half right. It was said that a producer’s son was crossed by ZZ so the son implored his father to blackball him. It was also saïd ZZ was acting too big for his britches on his new film set and making demands. The so called demands were ridiculously inane. . But he apparently rubbed too many the wrong way according to the rumour. Now does this sound like this is in character for ZZ? He was a seasoned actor at the time, so I can’t see him getting a big head over a success. The crappy attitude would have become evident long before this drama, if it had existed. Could GS have been the likelier candidate guilty of this behaviour ? Remember rumours go through variations as they pass from person to person. The rumour morphed into not the son of a producer but an actor with backers on the powerful entertainment governing body. Certainly explains how so many things could happen instantly and in rapid fire succession to bring ZZ down. People with clout know how to quash a career. Threatening his endorsers comes to mind. Targeting his mother could only be the work of accomplished megalomaniacs. Netizens are not going to change their minds about resuscitating his career, It’s too late. So who could be this actor so taken over by sheer envy? It is not difficult to connect the dots, sad and unbelievable as it seems. But it’s long overdue to call a spade a spade! Did he know the SOBs would go as far as they did? Perhaps not. It was no surprise to me to see him lined up for about a half a dozen dramas, seemingly overnight. Evidence of powerful forces at play. It is extremely unfortunate and undeserving that Zhehan had to suffer through all the fabrications that hurt his family and his career. It appears that there are those who felt a need to control Zhehan because of his fame in the film Word of Honor. Gong Sun cannot be blamed for distancing himself from Zhehan because there were a couple sites that showed he was also being targeted. Netzines keep spouting nonsense about celebrities trying to gain fame for themselves thinking they are somebody when all they really are are spitful nobodies.
It would be great if his fans would advocate and champion the studios to release the films he's made and to have Zhehan start making films again. He's worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices to live his dream. His sellout concerts are a good indication that many still love Zhehan, and feel that he's worth buying a ticket to see him perform on stage. Film agencies need to be brave and support the actors and actresses. In Field of Dreams - “If you build it, they will come.” Make Zhang Zhehan films and people will watch them.
Enough is enough! I can no longer remain silent. The truth needs to be told.
Word of Honour is released. He and Gong Sun are as thick as thieves. They seem to be the best of friends. Or so it seemed, right?
Once the promotions for the film were done, Zhehan never heard from Gong Sun. Not so much as. phone call!
So GS was not even in the picture to be able to distance himself from ZZ.
Now given their tight friendship, you would think GS would have been the first one to support ZZ when the poop hit the fan. Yet he was mysteriously silent. This made no sense to me. Was he afraid of speaking out lest he become a target himself? Were there consequences so unbearable he chose to opt out?
Now, to the best of my knowledge, only one incident occurred involving GS. It was pretty tame and involved the entire crew he was working with on a drama. And it happened long after ZZ problems started. It involved a restaurant the crew was eating lunch at. A mix up in reservations. Something to that effect. Sound suspicious to you? It did to me. It was not targeting GS per se, and was just too easy to set up by those in the entertainment industry already targeting ZZ. Why would they do this mild prank? To take the heat off of GS.
At that time, rumours were starting to circulate. And rumours sometimes only get things half right.
It was said that a producer’s son was crossed by ZZ so the son implored his father to blackball him.
It was also saïd ZZ was acting too big for his britches on his new film set and making demands. The so called demands were ridiculously inane. .
But he apparently rubbed too many the wrong way according to the rumour.
Now does this sound like this is in character for ZZ? He was a seasoned actor at the time, so I can’t see him getting a big head over a success. The crappy attitude would have become evident long before this drama, if it had existed.
Could GS have been the likelier candidate guilty of this behaviour ? Remember rumours go through variations as they pass from person to person.
The rumour morphed into not the son of a producer but an actor with backers on the powerful entertainment governing body. Certainly explains how so many things could happen instantly and in rapid fire succession to bring ZZ down. People with clout know how to quash a career. Threatening his endorsers comes to mind. Targeting his mother could only be the work of accomplished megalomaniacs.
Netizens are not going to change their minds about resuscitating his career, It’s too late.
So who could be this actor so taken over by sheer envy? It is not difficult to connect the dots, sad and unbelievable as it seems.
But it’s long overdue to call a spade a spade!
Did he know the SOBs would go as far as they did? Perhaps not.
It was no surprise to me to see him lined up for about a half a dozen dramas, seemingly overnight. Evidence of powerful forces at play.
