I wonder why they’re called the elemental wraiths since I don’t know if they have elemental powers of nature including Fire🔥, Earth🪨, Water💧, Air💨, Light☀️, or even Darkness🌑?
Update: I got the information that they’re actually fundamental kind of element,
Not an aspect of nature.
Speaking after the ancient gods 2, pretty sure Hugo and teams will bring wraiths as the main antagonists in later doom game..

I think you did a good job, but there are some things that aren't correct. The Argenta did not fight hell with the wraith, they only faced hell AFTER the Maykrs came. Also the Maykrs weren't impressed with the sentinel power, they were impressed with the hell power, they cleansed the hell power with the ancient wraith power. Lastly, the maykrs were not evil to begin with, they actual did help the people of Argent until the Maykr Goddess discovered the power of hell and decided to use that to power Urdak (the maykrs home) and betray Argent. I hope that clarifies it a little. Please let me know if you have questions, but keep it up.
Thank you. I just had a look through my script again and i believe there is some misunderstanding.
1. The Argenta fought against Hell while they had Wraith Energy/Sentinel energy is what i meant. This was well after their civilization was established and shortly after the arrival of the Doom Slayer.
2. Indeed. Argent Energy is made by combining those two.
3. The Maykrs, while providing advanced technology, used this opportunity to infiltrate and indoctrinate the entire race of Argenta . So much so, that the Argenta stopped worshipping the Wraiths. The Maykrs, specifically the Khan Maykr would reward them with "eternal paradise" if they were completly and utterly loyal.
The main plot hole that has not been answered is: Why would the Maykrs expose themselves to "lesser" races before the discovery of Hell Energy? What benefit would they get?
Remember, by that time the Maykrs were slowly succumbing to Degredation.
My Theory is that they had established a pact with Hell long before they exposed themselves to the Argenta. Once the Argenta started worshipping the Maykrs as their new gods. Now that the Argenta had unwavering faith in the Maykrs, they would be ordered to build the facility in Nekravol without anyone questioning them.
It was most likely the Maykrs that led Hell's armies and indirectly, the Doom Slayer as well, to the world of Argenta. But that is my theory.

I do know that when doom guy appeared that got the Khan maykr very interested in where he came from (since they thought they knew all dimensions) and I believe helped them find hell dimension maybe inadvertently. I don't think the Khan maykr was aware of hell or at least aware of how much Jekkad (hells original dimension) had changed. Cause we know Samuel Hayden (the Seraphim) knew about Jekkad himself, but I don't know if that's just because the father trusted him or if all maykrs knew about Jekkad? Also remember that the maykrs couldn't even step foot in the hell dimension themselves so it explains why they wouldn't know much about it especially the energy sources of it etc. They had to use people to go for them like the hell priests. And it was the people of argent that built the areas that made the hell energy, sentinel energy mix with the demons running them.
You're right that it doesn't really explain why the maykrs went to argent to be worshipped and why they promised the people they would go to urdak for their worship... at least I'm not sure I caught it if it did. I wonder if they were just egotistical and enjoyed the devotion? I do know that they were not degrading at first when the maykrs came to Argent D'nur because in a codex it mentions how the people use to get new maykrs every thousands and thousands of years (not sure how long), but eventually that stopped and the Khan maykr stayed permanently. So they did start degrading before doom guy or shortly after he came i believe and they wanted to use that power from hell to maintain Urdak after they discovered it (and probably to maintain themselves from degrading I think?).
I want to know more about the wraiths and what hit the planet and more about the magic they had before the maykrs showed up!?
Either way I appreciate the response. I enjoy the lore and the game very much. I hope they clarify these things. Also when the last dlc game comes out it may be a great time to do another lore video tying everything together!

Hmmmm. Could it be possible that the wraiths were the original beings that the dark lord came from.
Yes dark lord didnt created evreything he was created from a stronger entity and the place where there where entitys that where stronger than gods wraiths could be one of them
