Wow, this universe just seems to get bigger and bigger. I can only imagine the larger lore of it all! Wow, the visuals are impressive. Even the 2D looks 3D
@@TalonGaming_YT Yes i love that ha ha. WARHAMMER 40,000 BATTLESECTOR also has a fantastic zoom in view with models scanned straight from the tabletop games.
The research tree feels like it's very established to the point that it provides a big variety to allow you to pursue different strategies. Is it possible to 'learn' everything or do you have to be picky?
I didn't even get to the final few tiers in the games I've won so far! I needed (wanted) some of the items in the lower tiers in order to do what I needed to do and just never ended up using the last few tiers. That being said, I'm sure you could easily reach the last tier, but unlocking all of the items in a single playthrough would mean you probably extended the game longer than you really needed. Thanks for watching buddy!
One of my all time favorite games which i play almost every day. Have all the DLC including the just released ULTRA FOUNDING. They all many new things to the base game and every DLC faction feels unique and different. Using mods like TOO MANY VOICES fills in the gaps with lore correct over the top spoken dialogue. PROXY just released a new game ZEPHON which is also another home run taking the GLADIUS formula in the same way DUNGEONS & DRAGONS or GURPS use similar rulesets for their different tabletop games to create something new and exciting. GLADIUS is definitely one of those play forever games capturing the tabletop spirit of the source material. Thanks for the great review and Happy Holidays ☕
This map actually look sooo cool. From far above and even zoomed have such details, i really like the map! I never played anything like that really, as far as i remember, hehe. Great job as always!
Thank you!!! I was surprised at how much detail there actually was once you actually start paying attention to it, because from afar it doesn't appear to be the most detailed game out there. Still, the game excels in the strategy gameplay and replayability more than any other aspect! Thanks for watching! :)
Thanks so much!! I always look forward to your feedback! I'm not sure it would help tremendously in that regards, but it would help familiarize you with the 40k universe, it's races and nuances. The game kind of forgoes having to read, learn and understand the table top rule book and takes care of all the nitty gritty for you.
@@TalonGaming_YT ah okay that definitely makes sense.. So this title would serve as a general starting point to learn about the universe of 40k. Goo to know!
I think it might be an interesting step in the right direction. There's a few others that come to mind, but this is one of them! I find it pretty cool the way that the characters stand out versus the terrain, I think that makes it feel like a table top game.
It's a game that I honestly want to play more myself! I'm finding myself short on time for the games that I really want to play! I wanted to try out more of the DLC factions as well! Thanks for watching!
@@TalonGaming_YT Great video. I do recommend what ever faction you enjoy on table top to buy as DLC. They are all well made. Majority suggests the tyrannids as a must buy. I have all the dlcs. Evene the less popular fortifications dlc I enjoy. Since with it you can now fortify your domain.
Thank you, I really appreciate that! There's a few I have my eye on. Something to think about!! The fortifications DLC sounds good, as I did found defending your bases a little limited.
@@TalonGaming_YT I am actually gonna sub too. Your channel does remind me of Mandalore Gaming humble start. Staying with his channel was worth it and I feel yours will grow in a similar way. Also you do warhammer games reviews.
@@dnaseb9214 Hey, welcome aboard!! I appreciate the kind words! I like to *try* and cover a variety of games and styles, but I've really enjoyed the warhammer stuff alot - all the way back to the original daw of war! I was obsessed with that one!
This video is a complete "Shill Report" this game is not very and was "pumped" out with the least amount of effort. This ripoff is all about DLC pipe lining. The Vanilla game is not worth playing and the DLC's only add what should be in the base game. To get access Shills like Talon push incomplete garbage like this.
You're certainly welcomed to your own opinion here. The video is a review showcasing the game and my personal thoughts on it. It's not the most polished nor exciting game out there, but I enjoyed playing it. I do agree that the DLC is really what makes the game feel more complete. Unfortunately, the way it's been setup is to be money milker. I am not a shill either. The opinions are my own. If I enjoyed the game then the video will usually reflect that. I also tend to play games that I think I will enjoy. Please consider that I make these videos as a hobby and get nothing in return. I also pay for them out of pocket.
Have you played Gladius: Relics of War? What do you think of it?
It’s actually the game that got me into 40K. Made me realize I’m willing to spend grocery money on small plastic Skitarii.
Oh that's awesome! It's a great game too!!

There's.... ALOT going on, that's for sure! For a game that really isn't about graphics it really is nice to look at once you've zoomed in close.

@77Arcturus I really had fun with Battlesector too!! I love that style of game so it suited me perfectly!

If you play on hard difficulty or higher most games you will unlock all research

Another fantastic review! I'm curious, do you think playing this, and similar 40k titles, is a decent way to learn how the tabletop game works?
Thanks so much!! I always look forward to your feedback!

Whoa, this looks like it's right up my alley!! Love a good strategy game!!
Great! I hope you enjoy it!!! Thanks for watching!
Well done! Thanks for another informative review.
Thanks you! Glad you found the review useful!
Another great review buddy!😃
I appreciate that! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Great review!
Thank you! Have you tried the game?
I have- I sent your review to my buddies to explain what it was all about, now we're all playing it!
hands down best strategy game
Not gonna argue there!! Although I can think of a few other great ones!
Ohhh, I like this! I think the replayability really helps sell the game... it's just a shame the DLC is a bit pricey!
It can be, but if you really enjoy the game, grab them on sale or the complete set along with the game for a bit more of a discount.
Goes on sales for holidays constantly. Mitigates it a bit lol.
I love this game.
It's a game that I honestly want to play more myself! I'm finding myself short on time for the games that I really want to play! I wanted to try out more of the DLC factions as well! Thanks for watching!

I haven't tried that, so I'll have to take your word for it... That being said, it was a pretty fun game to play.
my game of choice atm.
be prepared to dump money into it being the base game.
base game is 5$ and amazing.
You're not wrong, if you really want to enjoy all of the additional factions the cost cam add up pretty quickly.
Great game in any case!!
