Early days I would’ve been open to it because we had Black widow, Wanda, Gamora, and Nebula kicking ass. But now every time we got some new lead Female MC in the MCU we know she’s gonna be poorly written.
I think pedro pascal is too old, but a slightly better casting than the last fantastic four movie reboot that failed. Maybe it will be good. I liked xmen 1st class. Maybe its going to be like that and have x-men again since Disney ruined x-men so they could reboot xmen completely. I think xmen was originally done in the 60s? Im not sure.

This is just Disney pushing another female and using the comics to try to shut down any complaints. Many running to wiki acting like this character is a big deal. She is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CHARACTER (Shalla-Bal) who is a COMIC ACURATE version of a character who is the love interest of the Silver Silver (Norrin Radd) who we are going to see in the MCU. This is SO easy to verify and Google is free. Anyone having a problem with this casting sounds like an idiot.
But it a minor character with a four comic book run replacing a more known fan favorite character and it confirm she being the silver surfer in the movie
Like I said in the dark council chat there are some conditions that I’d might find this acceptable.she might not be the only one we see. Mcu is in this multiverse mode at t(e moment it wouldn’t be out of the park. Wouldn’t hurt to have the right person for the job. Doubt Disney marvel studios would go for it though. If this is it though it’s disappointing.
