I love your deck techs. Miss you reading the cards and saying why its valuable to the deck. I found myself having to pause and look up the cards since I'm not familiar with them all.

That’s great feedback, I wanted to try something new and see how it goes. I’ll collect some more feedback and adjust for next time.

I really liked the deck with threaten effects to untap Rowan and go ham. Also, Rowan also discounts Drain Life and Consume Spirit as removal spells that also gain life.

The main thing with this commander which I missed at first is that the discount is a fixed number upon Rowans ability resolution. Only life lost before it resolved on the stack counts. You can untap Rowan and stack the ability as much as you want in a turn. No need to gouge your life like you said. Great tip, do five life or something and use cheap act of treason cards that'll only cost a red mana and reuse the ability. It's cumulative. At first I thought I could play this like my Rakdos deck but it's much different

Has there been enough updates to your Atraxa +1/+1 counter deck for another deck tech? I updated mine with Court of Garenbrig when it came out, super great card in Atraxa +1/+1 decks even at higher power

I've only updated Agatha's Soul Cauldron and the new Atraxa (just to have her in the deck).

Super nice deck tech, used this as a baseline for my own version of High Power Rowan!
Ended up including Dragonstorm and a bunch of dragons aswell since it is one of the few possibilities of actually pulling it off.
What do you think about the nice Valgavoth, terror eater?
I am testing him out in place of dauthi voidwalker as a payoff

This deck is hilarious. I've brewed it as a more token focused deck, with cards like Tempt with Vengeance, Army of the Damned, and Josu Vess Lich Knight. In on like turn 5 I kicked Josu, used Dualcaster mage to copy an Army of the Damned, and then cast it for its flashback cost. 47 zombies on the field, and then drew into Meathook Massacre.

Diabolic Revelation is a fun card. BB get 3 or 6 or even 15 cards into your hand

Hey just wondering, when you have overlapping cards I.e. Sauron, dark lord and Rowan both using cards like meathook massacre and bolas’s citadel, do you buy them or just swap them in and out. (Is it worth to buy for each deck?) THANKS

I just swap them in and out, I usually get them from my staples pile. I only buy more if I want to make the deck permanent and not have to move around cards to play it. That's why I always have the same sleeves, so I can switch things out easier.

Nice deck, it reminds me of King Macar deck i was playing some time ago. I'd put a little more haste enablers like swift foot boots, thousand-year elixir and anger, also Feed the swarm is good in this kind of deck, Greed is good. Also cool addition and everyone will hate you on table, mana barbs :D

Will is the better twin for one simple reason, storm loves blue. Yea in a perfect circumstance Rowan is more powerful. If you have the cards in your hand sure, but with will you can draw 12 cards on turn 5 and storm into whatever you need far easier. Plus you will be the arch enemy with either twin, in blue you can back that up with counterspells
Also Rowan’s 2 hit points and lack of protection within red/black make her an easy target.
    I’ll take Will

Personally, I like Orvar, it's mono colored, powerful, and really fun.

@@vex_mtg BRO! It took me a minute to understand Orvar because I’m still new but OMG!! This deck is sooooo powerful! It was between Jetmir and this but now that I understand how it plays I’m definitely buying it! Thanks so much!
