Love the video, I play brenard. I happened to pull academy manufacturer out because it is a replacement ability, meaning when you do create those food golems, instead it creates general food tokens along with the clue and the treasure. 15:39
Other recommendations: Raise the palisade naming golems Solitude instead of swords to plowshares Blossoming bogbeast (on flavor) Everything comes to dust and organic extinction instead of supreme verdict or other generic board wipes Phyrexian altar (expensive but absolutely worth it) Cards like Cephalopod Sentry that are both an artifact and whose power is set to number of artifacts you control Birthing pod and pyre of heroes instead of eerie interlude and selfless savior (sac outlets are imperative to generating value from Brenard) Lorien revealed instead of a basic land Craterhoof and moonshaker cavalry if you want to go that route. You can abuse their ETB’s twice
Just built a similar deck and it’s quickly becoming a favorite of mine! Glen elendra was a solid add for myself along with tribute to the world tree for repeatable counter spells for protection
I built brenanrd as a food/clue/tribal deck with samwise gamgee, and lonis. When dr who came out i added in alistair the brigadier. I eneded up liking alistair way better and swapped them so now breneard is in the 99.
There’s no point. Most of the creatures don’t become golems til after they die. And if you name splicer, it’ll work on 9 cards out of 100. Still no point.

Why no displaced dinosaurs ? Wouldn't that turn all your food golems into 10/10 dinosaur food golems ?
Agreed, i have a brenard deck that utilizes displaced dinos and it's pretty good
