I love using baking soda and vinegar to unclog a drain. It works very well. Of course, it works best if you can get the baking soda to go down into the drain and then pour the vinegar in there. Then it really starts to bubble and work it's way further into the drain.
U diluted it too much by mixing the boiling water with the baking soda and vinegar.. ur supposed to let the baking soda and vinegar work then use the water to rinse the corosive mixture down the drain
TY!! Saved me the harsh chemical I was going to purchase also! I actually plunged the drain also with the 3..just make sure you plug the overflow drain >.> what a mess!
In my case a heavy-duty liquid also failed and finally I tried some daily used household items. I first poured about two cups of clorox, then a full cup of baking soda, half cup of dish detergent and a big glass of vinegar, let it work for about 15-20 minutes and finally pour lots of hot boiling water. The water went down smooth as butter 👍 try it and let me know if it worked for you to 😊
you can also repeat the process a second time to speed it up and clear everything. Add fresch squeezed lemons for a cleaner drain and kill germs & bacteria at same time.
You're supposed to use The Baking Soda and vinegar and let it do it's job. The hot water comes at the end to push everything through. You didn't give the Baking soda and vinegar an opportunity to do their job
I don't think you waited long enough to let your pipe clear before add-in soooooo much water you acted like it was supposed to happen instantly even with drains you have to wait so with something natural youd prbly have to wait longer
Pretty clear you have no idea what you are doing. Why post something that doesn’t work? Just curious. There are a million videos that show how to do this.

NO. Baking soda and vinegar first. Then wait 5 to 10 minutes and pour boiling hot water down the drain.
