Even back then there was the obsession with the Nazis. Anyone find it odd that Mussolini and the Japanese guy both had on swastika armbands? Most of the fighting occurred in Russia and China, and by the time the US stepped up to the Axis, they were already horribly overextended and undersupplied, or were strategically in a position where a counterattack against the US would be impossible. So, I think if it weren't for those "shit kicking farmboys and inner city degenerates", the Axis would still be buried, albeit under a USSR that would rule all of Eurasia and the Pacific.

I don't know what your sources are, but you are wrong about the fighting. Did you forget all the fighting in Germany, France, Italy and elsewhere in Europe? Germany tried invading Russia a failed. There was also fighting in the South Pacific Islands, especially in the Philippines and Java. What you just said is that the US getting involved kept the Axis from getting buried, when you said in the sentence before that they were overextended and undersupplied. The Axis was buried under the USSR.
