@MorganMalfoy13: Do you think they really took the time to calculate the surface area of the Chinese wall? It's not about the math, it's about the message, like in all propaganda films. ;) The message is very sound by the way; it's just been a bit exaggerated for the purpose of... well, educating, the people.
I tend to believe it's used, but that it's subtle, and we aren't necessarily noticing it. Political cartoons are drawn all the time, but in a day where few people get their news from the newspaper, their exposure is not the same.
Typical piece of propaganda. All well and good saying how many tonnes they grew, but Great Britain and Europe didn't see much of it. A cartoon made just to make American's feel good about the war effort.
Victory through corn (via "The Grain the Grew A Hemisphere"), rice, barley and oat power, too!
1:04 - Well, except for Crete.
Sodas and fast food were around before World War II. Coca Cola was invented in 1886 and White Castle was around in 1921.
4:22 - I wonder if that girl will black out Rome and Tokyo?
4:28, those hens look like they REALLY enjoy laying eggs
"Milk, 145 billion POUNDS of it" improper way of measuring a liquid, but okay
Oh boy! I can't wait to eat Piper, Fiddler and Practical for breakfast!

Lol, at the pigs marching to their doom at the slaughter house. Such pride.
/teary eyed.

Victory through wheat power!
Its almsot sad now days We can no longer use polical cartoons or propaganda anymore danm I hate political correctness.
I imagine Coca Cola was something people had maybe once a week back then unlike the 2-3 a day like these days.
I wonder what would have happened if America had to trade Disney for Einstein. Would we still have won?
@wetyewruyrtsutrdhjfg If they were fighting for Democracy why did they ally with the Soviet Union?
Amazing paintings of food. I'll like to know which Disney animator did them and shake his hand.
Very nice, I love propaganda cartoons/movies! Don't really care if it is german or american.
There was a lot of strange stuff in this, but the corn bridge probably topped them all off.
@pancakewafflebacon I agree. Did they know the mass of the moon to begin with at that time?
It seems a big propaganda movie to me!Take care of the USA because it provides you with food.
100 million pigs marching to the slaughter, that's something you don't see everyday
Notice how they chose a few small countries to increase the numbers of countries.
these figures seem KIND of stretched... I don't think we could make enough cheese to replace half of the moon
I consider milk and juice as drinks myself, what about you guys?
@Spongebob1000 They could've added Big Bad off in the corner bawling his eyes out at this! :-P
(米のプロパガンダにしては珍しく)空回りしてるね。日本やソ連の餓死多発と対比させればパーフェクトな演出になるのに。
@andrewclunn I never said obesity was non-existant.
@andrewclunn Obesity was much lower in the 1940's.
Wow. Those skull subs would've actually been cool.
wow. someone did a lot of math to figure all this out. lmao.
Aaaaah... . the birth of Internet Infographics...
No wonder we are the 2 fastest country on Earth.
4:12 is just way too hilarious and scary haha
@Hotshotter3000 yes. ten thousand pounds.
that's not that much really
This cartoon makes me hungry!
Ils sont fort ces américains! ^^
Who's hungry ?
Soy is healthier than meat and better for you.
Why the hell do they still make these useless comparisons to show the amount of something?
Erica
Um. What?
