Back in the day we tested belts and yes most work but don't last as long as the factory belts. Some aftermarket belts we soon developed static problems and early high draw readings. But like I said I worked for many manufacturers and did warranty over my 32 years . I believe in factory deck and belts.
10:08. If the deck is ever like this, you must fully clean out the tread of the very fine wood dust. We (Life Fitness techs) tend to do a full speed test to watch the belt run straight. If you don't clear out that fine dust, that dust will go everywhere and fill the room. Just a tip from one tech to another. :D
There is a hole on the tension roller bracket and another one on the frame. Put a pin through the holes and it will keep the tension roller up so that it is easier to install the belt
Whats up man. I just disassembled my 95T and have a cable that got separated and need to know where it goes. Can you help me? Part number on it says “AK65-00117-0000” “Life Fitness Treadmill Coded Polar to MIB Extension”
From one Gym Tech to another i have always found it easier to get just a small amount of tension on the replacement belt and then slippping the deck (platform) into place. great tip on replacing deck clips 👌 it makes life easier! But god damn that deck should have been flipped over 6/9+months ago🤏

32 years in the repair business. Always use factory belts. This is not as they don't have the factory Lifefitness name on the belt.
