I've had the 705 for like 6-ish years now - I think! It was the best purchase of my life! Did a "clicker clean-up" at half of it's lifetime. It worked flawlessly since. I must admit I broke it while attempting another cleanup - But it was so good I had to get another one!! There is actually no mouse in size or features comparable to this, for this price!!

Could just be whoever listed it named it PRO, bit suspicious in my opinion. First thing is it is listed as renewed so it's not new and the seller only has 30% positive feedback. I think it's possible this might be deliberate to make people buy a PRO which does not exist. On Amazon, unfortunately these types of sellers are there so we need to be careful. Both of them are similar. I saw the reviews on UA-cam. Package is Original, Logitech. There are two Indian UA-camrs who revieuwed the PRO version. AliExpress does not sell the PRO version, only the Non Pro. i live in the Netherlands, Europe, and Amazon.nl sells both of them and original Logitech. The PRO version for €49 Euros. I just bought M705 and tbh it is worst than my backup M171, bth I found it the worst mouse I ever had and I had some sketchy mice. Sensor is near ringer finger instead of being in the middle of a mouse so precise movements are more difficult. So strange to used it, such a strange feeling
I agree, the sensor placement on the M705 is poor. I have the same problem with the M510 and M310... it's very disorienting and makes it so that your cursor doesn't go where you'd expect. I much prefer the location on the M720, it's a bit more centrally located (though not perfectly center, it's a bit skewed to the right still)
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes you can use the same mouse with both devices. The mouse has 3 connection options, one using the dongle which is provided, and two more connections via Bluetooth. You can switch between devices by using the button next to the device indicator. Just pair your laptop for example to device 2 on the mouse and pair ipad pro to device 3. Then all you have to do is switch between each devices by pressing the device button on the mouse without the need to pair each time. Hope that helps.
Firstly, great video, so thank you friend! I got the 705 and love it, especially the side forward and back buttons, and the tilting front scroll wheel to also allow forward and back. The 705 is great for CAD. Thanks for the recommendation of the 720, looks a great upgrade. The Performance mouse looks huge, but other than that it has the features I need. If the MX Master series mice are the same size then that rules those ones out for me, and the fact they don’t have tilted front scroll wheels. Another good recommendation for an upgrade to the 705/720 might be the Anywhere 2 mouse, have you used that one?

Haven't used it enough to give a proper opinion but it definitely feels smaller in the hand but experience will vary from user to user. But you are right it does offer some upgrades over the 705/720 in terms of features like any surface tracking and 4000dpi.

I prefer a larger mouse and if the 720 is higher or more 'humped' the 720 sounds better. I dont like it when the left and right click buttons are flat. So more slanted or steep suits me better. I would personally opt for the 720 if price is similar and best option would be to test in a shop if they have it on display as user experience will vary based on hand size and grip. Hope that helps.
My hand measures 19 x 10 cm, for me is the Logitech M720 better or the MX master 3 ? The MX master 3 looks more premium, the M720 looks more plasticky. I was also evaluating the G603.

Based on this and my experience of all three mice over a long period here are my experiences and my personal opinions which will vary based on users. MX Master or Performance series: This series for me is the most comfortable though not as portable as the other two. It has a more natural curve to fit your hand for extended use. I use this mouse at home everyday. M705 and M720: These mice are more portable and are raised slightly. The M720 is more raised than the M705. When i switched from M705 to M720 it took a few days to adjust and now I love it. I use this mouse at work and carry it with me. So the right choice really depends on your needs, if you don't mind the size and the price of MX Master 3 then I think this might be the better choice overall as it is more comfortable and also has multiple device compatibility if this is a requirement. And I agree if you are use to a more conventional mouse it could take time to get use to the MX Master, assuming you ever get comfortable with it. The mouse definitely sounds louder no doubt about it, didn't realize there was that much difference but again this will vary based on requirements. Were you able to continue to use it for a longer period? If so does it feel better now or you still prefer the likes of G602? Hi Colin, thanks for watching. Unfortunately I don't really use CAD since my University days however I did a quick search and it seems that opinions vary amongst users. Some are happy with a standard mouse in which case if you need a simple mouse with single device connectivity and don't mind using a dongle the M705 should be fine as a portable option. If you prefer bluetooth connectivity with multiple devices then M720 is the one, both are good overall for general use and I am personally happy with both for comfort and usability. If you can extend the budget I would definitely recommend a mouse with higher precision like MX Master 3 or even 2, or possibly even a gaming mouse like G602. Some people even prefer trackballs though it's not something I use so can't comment on that. @@colin6711 MX master series mice doesn’t have a tilting feature on the front scroll wheel, which allows forward and back. You might miss this if you’ve been used to it.

Performance mx has a place for the receiver. You just place it over the battery under the lid. Try it, it fits perfectly :)

the M705 also works fine just with one battery. Maybe they just added to in order to last more but one does the job.
I am experiencing battery drain on the mx performance R007, it last only few days on non rechargeable and two days of GP 2700 rechargeable battery.

Yeah...the rubberized plastic is gonna age real bad. At least that's what I expect from experience of all dem soft touch Gadgets from around 2000.
