Spent so much time bass fishing I never bothered to learn how to catch anything else so I’m thankful for guys like you. With the cost of groceries these days it’s nice to go catch some free dinner sometimes.
Great to hear!
@@LarrySmithOutdoorsno. Once you find ‘em, you’re good for. 4-5 fish . Don’t lie
I feel the same way but I’ve only catfished! Learning alot new techniques now that I’m changing my fishing styles
Here for the same reason
@@predator_boiz336 I love to fish mostly Crappie now all year round, but we would have starved to death without Catfish when I was a kid. Only slightly joking, since we were on a very tight budget and Catfish was the only decent sized fish my dad knew how to consistently catch from the bank to give us nice fish fries, since we didn't have a boat. So that is what we ate a lot of. I kind of don't like it as much now, since I ate so much of it, but every once in a blue moon I still like to fish em.
A good day of crappie fishing equates to “it’s a great day to be alive.” Thanks Larry.
You got that right!
I couldn't believe you dont have more followers than you do. This is A+ content here brother keep it up!

No problem 👍
If you don't mind sharing what is your technique to lure the crappie to bite the hook.
I got excited thinking I might learn something from this video. Sad panda.
what do you look for when you're trying to find a crappie spot?
Notice the tree protruding from the water where he's fishing? Looking for some structure and cover for them. Under bridges as well. Dropping a few from the cover. Biggest crappie I ever caught was off the bank 35 feet from the shore right where all the water weeds were starting to grow out of the water. I cast right on the seen if the weed line with a 4 inch senko and landed a 12" black. Nothing to write home about but it's my biggest I have ever landed
Vertical structure like pillars and tree trunks. Walls and coverage that has a lot of baitfish
What's the difference between a panopitcs and side imaging
Awesome video! Your channel seems really cool!! Just subbed too!👍
Thanks for the sub!

what is the wt of the line to use and the jig size with a #2 hook
👍
I fished that spot!
Hopefully it was a great day!!
Is that a pet skunk? How do U keep them from spraying
Descented!
Will a curly tail jig work
Yes!
Curly tail grubs IMO, are the best all around artificial crappie bait. I even vertical jig with them sometimes and have pretty decent luck when I get excited and forget to put on a shad body after I find them 😁. For casting and slow retrieve I don't think any readily available commercial type bait can beat curly tails when you learn to work them properly. Something about them seems to aggravate crappie. A lot of guys swear by the paddle tails for a similar type of presentation, but I simply do not have enough experience with them to say for certain.
Man will jerkbaits work on these with some powerbait and garlic
What's wrong with rock bass
Nothin!

Stop telling people what to do
@@joshuawalton7109 to be fair… you just told him what to do🤷🏻♂️
That is fair. Telling people what to do is pointless
