Really enjoy your channel. Your mouth is always respectful. My grandkids can watch your channel and never have to worry about unwanted events. I have followed your channel for few years be blessed. Thank you for being outstanding Person fisherman and enjoyable
Ha ha...you mentioned Bill Dance a couple of times in your video and UA-cam suggested his Crappie video at the top of the sidebar. Always a great adventure LFG!
I live about 10 minutes from Wright Patman and it can definitely be tough, but it’s got them! Bass, crappie, cats, you name it! Would love to see you back and you’re always welcome to swing by and do some hog hunting with me!
The absolute BEST crappie fishing and most memorable was on Nantachie Lake in Louisiana in my youth. There was a fishout spot (bank fishing) that I, my mom, and stepdad used to frequent right around the way from our house on the levy. IDK what it was about that spot, but we would bring in buckets (literally) of bigger than hand size crappie on real worms and plane 'ole bobbers alone. We would sit there for a good 4 hours and just be done! THEN I learned how to rig 2 / 3 jigs at a time and wow! I'd land 2 or 3 very near each cast. Core memories that can't be forgotten. That's also how I learned to easily filet panfish haha. Great video and looks like ya had some super fun that trip!
Bruh!.. I can’t believe I just discovered your channel a couple weeks ago! One..if not the best fishing UA-camr that I’ve seen! Keep up the great work brother! Looking forward to the next! 🎣
@LakeForkGuy the fact you were at this lake just recently and I didn't see you is sooo disappointing! Should've swung by the spill way. I would've had a spot for you.....
I was catching crappie from bank .... Also caught bass on crappie baits because water was cold and bass wouldn't eat bass baits but killing smaller baits ... I thought it was a crappie or blue gill because I was using bobber and didn't feel like a 16 inch bass
I know where your headed and there are a bunch of 14'' to 16'' bass being caught and some trophy fish as well probably and good place to run your jugs to fill a cooler of channel cat as well
I caught lots of solid crappie today caught a solid pike a solid bass using crappie minnows on 4lb test it was tough at first my dad couldnt anything to take a waxworm only thing that caught anything was a crappie minnow
Hey man , love the channel been following for a long time ! I try and watch your videos to educate myself, i go fishing every weekend with my seven year old son . Last couple weekends he hasn’t wanted to go because we never catch anythinggg . Im worried im ruining fishing for him . Cant really afford any decent gear or get the latest and greatest baits . I dont know what to do cant seem to catch anything from shore , any advice would be greatly appreciated!
the way you have that rigged you can basically take it offf and on your depth finder because i have a minnkota spot lock on my boat and i can’t run a wire i have a center console and i have 1 depth finder on my boat just at the console and i feel weird when im usually scouting when i had my other boat i would put both depth finders on trolling motor in water and scouting i like the way you have that set up
Bro Wright Patman is the lake I fish the most! It’s about 15 minutes from my house. I’m going Saturday. 😂. Went two weeks ago and slaughtered the white bass on the spillway.
Pretty tough views:subs ratio lately…curious as to why. Props to ya for sticking to the game but I suspect it’s been a grind. Glad you’ve got Googan going strong.
Bill Dance has some of the funniest short videos, did you see the trailer came off the truck still hooked to the boat. he just drove it up the ramp. hahah
Great video. Well done. S M O K E D Them...... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm 1 of those 1.5k Thumbs Up.👍 Going to lake you don't fish. Learning the Fishery on your own without the help of a Guide. Targeting the species you are hunting. Finding he Species you are Hunting. Catching the Species you are Hunting. IS A FEELING YOU CAN'T PUT INTO WORDS!!!!! B A U S S S S S!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤣

🦃 hunting documentary was really awesome.. Also the Dance, slab catching.. Thanks for sharing
Always excited to see a new post from LFG!
What’s your go to crappie rod from the Googan collection? I’ve heard you mention it in other videos and can’t find it.
That’s awesome!! Crappie is my favorite light fish to eat
I love the look of that reel you have for your crappie rig, what is it?
Great day on the water. Golden crispies yeah!!!!
I thought you might be at WP, I kayak fished a couple times from the boat ramp at Atlanta State Park which looks like where you may have launched.
i live in texarkana, arkansas, we fish patman alot! everyone always fishes the spillway for crappie, i would try that

Great video! Way to work it and find them!
It’s always a great day when you post a crappie fishing video! Thanks! 🤘🏽
Congrats on hitting 1 million subs btw!!
What 2 crappie rods do you recommend and what size reel? Im wanting to buy 2 googan crappie setups
@LakeForkGuy the fact you were at this lake just recently and I didn't see you is sooo disappointing! Should've swung by the spill way. I would've had a spot for you.....
Awesome job LFG!

I’m going to Grenada lake this summer. It’s been on my bucket list for years and I’m making it happen this year.

That's my idea of a GREAT DAY on the water!
I don't live far from that lake. I was raised up fishing there and bud we have caught many of fish outta that lake.
New lake sounds cool. This vid was instructional. I learned a lot.
Great stuff here. Where can I get a stringer like you are using here? Thanks.
You need to make a livewell cooler with bilgepump and sprayer for that johnboat that you can pick up
Would love to have you come to lake Palestine one day. It’s a good crappie catfish and bass lake.
Is that the Bumpin bug? I fish wright patman quite a bit. Where did u put in at? It looked like Herron creek to me but im not sure
Bro Wright Patman is the lake I fish the most! It’s about 15 minutes from my house. I’m going Saturday. 😂. Went two weeks ago and slaughtered the white bass on the spillway.
Try using a floating fish basket, much easier than a clip stringer.
If you keep having problems with nats. Try keeping a dryer sheet on the back of your hat and it keeps them away. Country boy tip of the day
Come to Southwest Nebraska. Good crappie, good walleye, and great bass. Maybe even some big pike or musky
That's my old home lake, miss it
Bois D' Arc!!
Can't wait to see the next video 🎣🎣🔥🔥
Bill Dance chair saves them knees and back over a 30 year fishing career!👍
Where are you fishing
Hey Justin what was the total of your forward facing sonar setup.... Would like to do something like this
Let’s gooooo take me fishing for crappie 🙏🏽😬 lol
Dumb question (sorry!!) What is that thing going into the water left of the trolling motor?
if the water is high try the old river bed, it looks like a creek as soon as you put in on the left
You’re headed to my neck of the woods now. Can’t wait to see how you do, good luck!
Where at?
Great Lake fished Wright Patman many times for crappie and white bass.
Let's go Love the video LFG
Where can I get that color test line from you used to get the first couple of crappie
I could tell by the pines and the water color that was patman. Thats my home lake and I work like two miles from the lake
You deserve so much more views than you are currently getting keep grinding you do some fantastic content
I like it alots 😂 .. my blood is boiling as you put the whoopen on me by catching all those nice ones lol
Go fishing
What fish finder are you using?
The first spot you went you were fishing about 300 yards from where I hunt.
Beautiful crappie!! Best eating fresh water fish 👍
Thats what we call a good day of danglin, nice
What brand & size boat you fishing out of?
Really surprised to see you haven’t gotten on the 10’+ jig pole train yet. Makes fishing back in those trees much easier with a vertical presentation.
Check out Todd huckabee rods. I’ve got a 16’ I use for scoping don’t scare as many fish with the boat noise and trolling motor
Killer stringer ! And Yep I'll be headed to that new lake as soon as the damn wind cooperates a bit. This daily 25-35 mph gust stuff is ridiculous
Great vid. Thanks.
Great video and wonderful crappies
Do you still have your bass boat
I have had luck vertical jigging with a spoon
Man this is my hometown. Wish I would have been able to see you there!
New insect repellent on the market, picaridin, works on the gnats and biting flies AND keeps mosquitoes at bay!
I don’t know if you fish in Louisiana much, but they been pulling some TANKS out of Bussey Brake
Nice video bro. Slab heaven fasho. Why not use a loop knot to keep that jig natural 🤔
Where can I find rods like you use
what lake?
Hometown lake its hit or miss
Caught two on a bass spinnerbait yesterday. Wasn't prepared for crappie.
Looks a whole lot like Purtis Creek State Park. 😊
Always keep a pink jig head on 👌🏾
Just tell’em it’s lake Lewisville 😂
So that's kinda like a light Carolina rig or mojo rig
Never seen anyone use a stringer that way, only seen it go through the gill, interesting
Your first crappie was in Jackson creek
It like Livingston it is loaded with with catfish crappie white bass and stripers
woo SON! hahha
The Lake is Wright Patman. I fished it once and caught nothing.
😂😂😂😂
I couldn't understand the name of the lake.
YEEEEEEET YEEE3EEEEET MAN NICE CRAPPIE. YEAH HA😂😂😂😂😂
Pretty tough views:subs ratio lately…curious as to why. Props to ya for sticking to the game but I suspect it’s been a grind. Glad you’ve got Googan going strong.
Love your videos
Bill Dance has some of the funniest short videos, did you see the trailer came off the truck still hooked to the boat. he just drove it up the ramp. hahah
I thought I was actually going to see some fishing but no, livescope strikes again.
Don’t watch then bud
❤
Damn I forgot to use the code when I bought all my stuff the other day lol. Oh well, worth it anyway

My daddy owns the lake
Does the duck swim on it
Thanks going tomorrow 😂
Thank you for naming the body of water. Fishermen, as a whole, are some of the WORST gatekeepers on the planet.
Be prepared for the new lake your heading too. It's timber so thick that it makes Vietnam look like the mojave desert.
