My GOD he's good. I know some of what he's doing, can stare right at it as he's doing it, and my mind still doesn't register it. Amazing. There are a few parts(a lot of parts, hint hint) where there is multiple synchronized moves, I can understand what he's doing, but they're performed so well that my brain will not allow them to register. Amazing, amazing performance.
I learned a lot from studying this vid. I'm a beginner magician, I learned stuff like how big movements conceal smaller ones, how to cleanly save a messed up trick and more. Thanks a lot Ryan!
I know this effect well, as do most other magicians, but your presentation and performance of it are 100% pure entertainment. Thank you for putting in so much time and effort to take this classic to the next level. 👏
Being invited to magic castle it a huge honor. It is a smaller more intimate setting, so you don't get the satisfaction of a large crowd reaction but no matter how many times I see this act...it blows me away.
Fantastic act, really clever stuff going on - nerves of steel to perform so close. Thank you Ryan, saw you first on Penn and Teller, seriously good performance..
I caught several of the slights throughout, but this is a wonderful performance, and like all my favorites, complete with an awesome over the top inspiring monologue about the wonder of magic. Love it. 👍👍
Gotta say I finally followed all those moves with this angle, after having watched the Penn and Teller one 1.000 times, and they are sooo smooth....Damn, now the magic is gone....*Attempting to erase memories from this session*......
I didn't think you could approve this, you proved me wrong, this is finest, cleanest I have ever seen this trick performed. I thought seeing this up close would give something away and no this is absolutely perfect. The only thing left to do is make the person to the right of you disappear.
I think the part i love most about this particular video is the mess up on bringing the coin in between your index finger. So many difficult sleights performed flawlessly and a relatively easy one messed up but continued on like nothing happened. Beautiful routine and keep up the good work.
So I've spent the last couple hours rewatching this video and I was able to spot most of the sleight of hand tricks used during the act but it's still majorly impressive. Also good work with the misdirection.
Best coin matrix act I have ever seen, it makes it all that much better when you know how the basic coin matrix method works, there are still some spots in this routine where I can’t follow him...that’s his good his sleight of hand is... it really does seem physically impossible...this is the coin matrix on steroids.... going to have to go back and watch his pen and teller performance....may Christ be with you all...💚💚💚
Ryan, you are EPIC! Amazing showman; every move that you make is precisely controlled and clean. You are the modern magician samurai! Make a trip to Vancouver!!!!!!!!!!
thanks again! not so many times i get to feel "things" in life... really sad history, i know you want to make us laugh, in fact you make me laugh like no one doing these acts.... but man this very act bring me to tears everysingle time.... very amazing , the saddest part of my life is that i got to know about you just a few months ago
I have watched his act too many times as I am now able to spot some of his moves. Nonetheless, I still love it as no matter what, the level of dexterity the act requires demonstrates pure talent... and the speech remains epic.
Even if you know technically how the effect is done, it doesn't matter because that is so not the point. The point is his showmanship, his rapport with his audience, and the mystique and sense of wonder that connection generates. THAT is the real magic. BRAVO and OSS!!!
Even though I know just a tiny bit of how he does the 4 coin and 4 card trick, it doesn't matter. because he is so good at it, it would be amazing even you know exactly how he does each move. Just brilliant.
Subbed when I recognized the Conan the Barbarian music. I generally like the calm contemplative performers, but you make the brash in your face approach work. Well played.
I finally saw it!!! God damn it was smooth, but finally was able to track a coin from a pinky hold to switching hands, to concealing placement with an elbow. Then the rest of it was just dark asian magic and I was lost again.
The 4 coins and cards trick was taught to me quite some time ago by my father... but what the actual F, how did you make those 4 coins vanish and reappear under the cards again?!?!? You are a cut above the rest, Ryan!
Sloppy!!!! Are you for real dear friend??? Where on earth is the sloppiness? That was frigging sublime. Sloppy Kerrrissst what does it take? Fucking sloppy...sloppy. Are you fucking deluded? Jesus H Christ.
I was happy to see the act up close!
Ed Kwon you are awesome Ed
Hope to see more of your work in the future.
2 legends on one page.

Great act that can be watched over and over again.
"I'm going to hurt your brain" is the best and funniest way I've seen someone start their performance
Still smile every time I watch. Most epic dialogue, indeed. Good job & thank you @RyanHayashi ^^

YOUR PASSION FOR YOUR CRAFT MADE ME CRY. THANK YOU LEGEND
The slight of hand was epic...the monolog was even more epic. I was cracking up the whole time. Aloha!!
5:22 Is that the sound of the concealed coin hitting the other coin that I can hear as he puts the card down?
That was the biggest clunk in the performance, but not fatal as there are two coins there anyway.
Yup
Awesome video and PT episode was amazing dude
Knowing exactly how this is done my mind is still blown every time I see it. Just astounding.
Beautiful!
Superb mixture of magic and humor. Excellent and well worth repeat viewings. Makes one feel great! Thanks Ryan!
It doesn't get old, and it its so awesome to watch multiple times, because its pure skill
I never get tired to watch this!! Love it!

Love watching this again and again just to see that last part
Ryan I saw your act on Penn & Teller, FU, you’re fantastic. Please come to the NYC or Philly area so we can see you live.
I love coin magic! So clean, so entertaining, so beastly! You really are the Jackie Chan of Magic 💰💰💰
Really good I have no clue I thought I did but by the end I gave up trying to figure it out and just enjoyed
Thanks for inspiring all with your passion and talent for magic!
Gotta say I finally followed all those moves with this angle, after having watched the Penn and Teller one 1.000 times, and they are sooo smooth....Damn, now the magic is gone....*Attempting to erase memories from this session*......

You are amazing, my brain did explode when I tried to follow your hands.... it’s so clean
Loved it! The best matrix routine I have ever seen.
This act will never get old. NEVER.

Terrific. My favorite was the coin vanish at 6:25. If I understand what he did, it was s very complex series of 4 or 4 moves.

Funny how I caught way more here than I did the first time on Penn and Teller. Pretty amazing and super clean movements. Asian/10
Awesome Peroformance Ryan
You the MAN!!!!!!!
Sooo great! Tell us: will this be ever available for us, simple mortals?
Watch it really closely over and over, you can deconstruct it and do it yourself.
So clean!!!

Love the music and magic... he's playing yoshida brothers... great taste
THANK YOU! I knew that music sounded familiar but couldn't place it
Even if you know technically how the effect is done, it doesn't matter because that is so not the point. The point is his showmanship, his rapport with his audience, and the mystique and sense of wonder that connection generates. THAT is the real magic. BRAVO and OSS!!!
It's been a while since I laugh this much from watching a youtube video XD thank you.

BRILLIANT!!! LEE JUN FAN would love your performance!
Your my idol bro ..
Even with the mess up at 8:03 this act was amazing and I didn't even care about it
He really should have a line to cover this "are you watching closely?" or something
There's 8 coins?
Subbed when I recognized the Conan the Barbarian music.
I generally like the calm contemplative performers, but you make the brash in your face approach work.
Well played.
Brutal.
He's so cool!
Wow!That was mighty impressive!Truly the ultimate coin matrix!
This is just not fair! I am mesmerized...

So inspiring. Best patter ever and how does his dialogue of uber pretenseiousness not come off as pretentious? That's magic.
Nice performamce man!!
yes that was epic
Great act. Loved the original. After seeing the original, gotta say this was a little sloppy but still amazing
Sloppy!!!! Are you for real dear friend??? Where on earth is the sloppiness? That was frigging sublime. Sloppy Kerrrissst what does it take? Fucking sloppy...sloppy. Are you fucking deluded? Jesus H Christ.
