Hey there, just wanted to say that I've been listening to your music, along with my children for the past 7 years! I've been putting them to sleep to the sound of your voice and what not :) And we all love your work. I hope you're doing well and, for what's worth - I don't think you've lost your touch or anything of that sort.

I first heard your original Dragonborn cover, I think, just a few days after you uploaded it. This means I've been your fan for over ten years.
During those years, especially the ones I spent as a regular in your Twitch community, your voice has permanently cemented itself as an integral part of my own personal world. No matter where I am, hearing you - and it doesn't matter if it's in a new song or just listing different kinds of rocks you saw while walking Thor - makes me feel a little bit closer to home. So, hell yes I'll listen to your podcast. I'd love to hear from you more often.
And whatever you decide to do, I hope it'll make you happier and you find your groove again.

I understand wanting to write and I haven't found anyone who seems to understand why I prefer to physically write things down. I have had two major surgeries on my back but I can still write physically. If I wasn't able to do that due to an additional injury to my arm, I would feel more lost than I already do. I've thought about blogging, vlogging, or doing this kind of thing but I always think to myself "who would want to listen to me?". If that's something you ask yourself, I know I would want to listen to you. I know many others would too. I think you're far more than the Dragon Born song, although you do have a fantastic voice. One thing people should always know is that it's okay to start small when we're trimming to make a change in our lives. Just getting up and aking your bed, showering, and over all doing self care. Small things can make such a difference, after that we may feel like that we can do more. I believe you can find what will center your inner self.

So cool to hear your thoughts! I have been worrying about how the changes to YT would affect this thing that brought us so much awesomeness (including your music!) over the years.
One thing is clear - if we can't get rid of the monopolization of popular culture by big corporations we are really lost, because those stories and art are essentially our entire vocabulary, our language for figuring out how to live our own best lives.
If we want to have a future - a human future - culture needs to become fully participatory, so that EVERYBODY can pick up any piece that speaks to him and use it to put his own thoughts back out into the universe without worrying about any corporate overlords.
I am dead certain the face of the future is participatory culture, and it is also you!
Please keep singing, talking, and thinking - I just want to keep hearing your voice! Best wishes!

Hey Malu, i listen to your songs since 2013-2014, and at that time i didn't know which kind of music i liked, every song seemed bland for me, i think you were the first one to bring me into celtic/medieval, game songs, and i was so impressed by your beautiful voice, even my teachers loved it at that time. I Follow The Moon, is one of my favorite songs if not the one, and i think it defines what you're feeling right now, being subtle and meaningful is something that i belive is one of the best forms of inspiration.
I think you should look from afar what you have done till today and keep working on the things you like to do, your ambitions, maybe changing scenarios with something you wanted to try for a long time and see how it goes. Like you said, sometimes doing something you do for fun can turn into a bigger goal!
Also, have you ever thought about dubbing?
    I wish you the best!

Thank you so much for this. I really needed to hear this today. I am not a mother, I am a master's student. And because of the intense work schedule, I have been very alienated and isolated from my friends this past year. And while I am not an online creator, I do understand the feeling that you do not want to share anything about yourself with others unless you can make it entertaining or interesting in some ways. I applaud your bravery in sharing this part of yourself with us. I needed this human connection, as much as we will probably never meet, it is sometimes nice to see other individuals like you are going through a similar situation (all be it for different reasons). It oddly makes me feel less alone. I really enjoyed listening to you put something like this out there, and I would for sure listen to your podcast, if, or when you decide to make something like this. You have an amazingly calm voice, and I can't imagine the podcast not being enjoyable. My only worry might be about certain unpolite individuals that might take advantage of your vulnerability and make fun of it. The internet is filled with people who want to hurt as much as there are individuals who want to heal. So kudos to you for putting this side of yourself out there. Even if this was the only time you put something like this here, I still very much appreciated it.

Hey Malu, I usually don´t comment in public spaces, but need to tell you that I resonated so much with what you said. On one side doing anything creative takes time and on the other the feeling that if I have nothing to share, I should be quiet... because I have other work to do anyway. But then... I want to know how people that I follow are doing as well. Honestly, I´m on your channel for ages (since Dragonborn song) and I always love to listen to your voice and what you say. It´s an inspiration to see someone else growing as one grows themselves. These days I feel like waiting for a miracle as well, for some doors to open to show me the way, but until that happens, well, I have a life to live and we´ll see where it leads. Thank you for your work and if you decide to keep doing podcasts, there is one more person that would love to listen.

Thanks for talking about it, Malukah. Truly hope it helped you, even if just a little.
I'll be happy to keep listenning if you decide to keep sharing.
    My best wishes to you.

This was really inspiring, just knowing that people are going through and thinking the same things you are. You don't feel alone and want to get up and do something with your day. Thank you Malukah.

Hi! It is really nice to hear your voice and your thoughts. We have enjoyed your covers and we added the mod to Skyrim that had your songs as all of the tavern music. So cool! Sorry to hear that you are feeling out of balance at this moment. We have been watching your videos since before your introduction of baby Thor. Sending positive wishes that you will find your next groove soon!
    :) Edward and Lisa

Thank you for sharing. Life after kids is definitely a whole other game in life... There's always more to do than there's time. I'm going through it as well, and even though it doesn't feel normal, just know that it is.

I know how it feels to live the early part of your life without much real planning because opportunities just present themselves & you just go with the flow, enjoying life. Then one day, the opportunities dry up & you feel like perhaps you now need to make you own direction but are unsure what it is. If the blog is what you want to do, then do it... you will get support for sure.

Was really great to listen to this with my morning tea. Really helpful to listen to someone sensitive talk about problems and feelings one can relate to in some way. It's a big help sometimes to talk or listen and know someone else understands, so thanks for this

I think a podcast would be great. I love listening to podcasts and you have a lovely, soothing voice.
I understand what you mean about there's something "off". I get like that at times too. I pray that you're able to find that peace you need and things fall into place. ❤

I've been following you for quite a number of years, if not over a decade (humm, maybe I'm getting old 🤔😅). Your voice, you work, are magical, truly. If you do decide to do a podcast (or whatever else for that matter), which I think you should, after all an attempt at something new is never a mistake if you learn from it, regardless of how it ends up, I'm sure it'll have a very warm reception by us, your fans and a lot of new people, too! Good luck to you! ;)
P.S.: Don't delete this vid, pls. It's part of your history.

Malu, I've been listening to you since you first released your Skyrim covers, back before my computer could even handle running the game. My friends and family all love your music! My girlfriend and I will listen to "The Dragonborn Comes" album on our road trips, and my uncle and I will listen to "I Follow The Moon" on CD up at his cabin in New Hampshire!
It's always nice to hear your thoughts on all things Malukah! I actually have read pieces from your blog Wonderlukah and was fascinated by some of the thoughts you wrote about! It really put some topics into a new perspective for me! If you decide to make a podcast, I will do my best to tune in! I'm a bit busy right now studying to get my Nursing license, but I will listen when I have down time! :)
Much love from the northern United States Malu! :)

Don't delete, please keep it! I've been a fan since you started the Skyrim covers and have appreciated so many other covers you've done. Though I never got into the Halo games, your "Frozen Sleep" is absolutely AMAZING and still probably my favorite. When I finally beat the first "The Banner Saga" game and was listening to the ending vocals, I seriously said to myself that it has to be Malukah singing... turns out I was right and it was confirmed when I watched the credits roll. When it comes to RL, you are not alone. We all have our struggles and feel off balance at times. Pace yourself, take care of you and your family foremost.

This was great to listen to.
As a dad of 3 (including a girl who is also around a year and half old), my wife and I get how you feel. It feels like there's never enough time. Also as I now work from home, my kids pretty much are my whole life now. I am a major introvert but I definitely get feelings of loneliness from not getting to interact with adults or friends much. I have definitely hit a stage of burnout in my life. Sounds like maybe you are in the same space.
I guess I'll just end this by saying Keep Pushing. Things will get better. I wish you nothing but the best and hope you find what you need. You are awesome! Thanks for all the great content through the years! All the love from my family to yours!

    Dear Malukah,
you've brought so much happiness to the life of my wife and me.
We listen to your music on our long car rides, or when having to focus on some complex work task.
It's great to listen to your podcast for the first time, keep going!
But please, - you don't owe any of us anything, so do these at your own pace, talk about what you want to talk about, don't get pressured into anything specific :-)
    Take care!
