We had the best time at Flagler beach years ago when our daughter niece, and nephew were little. It's a beautiful place. It's sad about the pier! Food looked amazing!!!! Shrimp and grits is one of my favorite foods.

We started cracking up because Shawnasi has an OB shirt on! You're right about that A1A drive from St. Augustine down - Daytona not so much these days (crime). Anyhow, thanks for the video!
We have stayed in Ormond Beach several times, and really like that area, too. In fact, we got on A1A in Ormond Beach. We always get off of I-95 onto Highway 40 over to Ormond, and then head north on A1A. In fact, we have several reviews in Ormond Beach. We did some videos there last summer.
@JentleRain Yeah, the Ormond Beach videos were from last July. There are a few restaurant reviews, and the one where she beat me at miniature golf. We personally think Highway A1A, is one of the most beautiful roads in America.

I love eating on the deck at that restaurant. The pier was completely rebuilt after another hurricane and now it has been destroyed again. We always write on the chalk board. Have you ever been to Cedar Key? You should go. They have a concrete pier. Not the same as the old one but it will withstand the hurricanes.
I enjoy your videos very much. For me, they’re a reprieve from all the ugly images and depressing news stories we’re bombarded with every day. It gives me hope that there are still normal people doing normal uplifting things. Also, the music you choose for each video is so enjoyable. Well the restaurant looked like it was nice and open so not so bad when you are unable to eat outside. The ocean looks beautiful, the water coming onto the shore could put me to sleep.
LOL Derrick. I had to laugh at the scallions. I am funny about onions. I will eat onion rings or cooked onions on anything pretty much, but I don't want a raw onion AT ALL and I would have picked those green onions off too. Great video.
Onion rings, or in salsa, is about the only way I can eat an onion. I can't stand to bite into them. They gave to be soft. But yeah, I was very surprised they put scallions on that, since I had specifically said about not wanting any onions in it.
You have to remember that these young people if you had a young waitress that if you tell them no onions they’re mine only goes to one thing they won’t think of all the other things that could be onions. That’s how they’re taught in school lol glad you enjoyed it.
Actually, we didn't because it was raining. We did get one at the 7-Eleven when we were on Siesta Key, though. So, we did get one...just not at this one, like usual.
We go to that area often. Having read in Daytona paper the plan is to remove the current pier and replace it with a concrete pier. Not sure of the timetable when this will start do not think the city has the final plans for the replacement,
Interesting. The guy at the restaurant who was seating people, said his understanding was that it would start next year. He didn't mention about it being concrete, though. I hate to see that in a way, but it would withstand hurricanes better.
We do take a yearly trip to Florida. A lot of our stuff is just long weekends. We do both take off Christmas week, and the 4th of July week. I was able to get my job to approve an extra week in August for me, which was a blessing. That is why we were able to do both MN and FL.

You can turn it off or throw out your tell lie vision. I did, 9 years ago. And I don't listen to a radio in car. It's very freeing!
