  • Some of the most pristine beaches in Florida can be found on the Atlantic Coast between St. Augustine and Daytona in the community of Flagler Beach. Just a few miles from town you'll also find a mix of history and nature that harkens back to Old Florida from one of the largest sets of sugar mill ruins in the state to a country estate fit for a princess. Take a look at our list of 15 Things to Do in Flagler Beach and let us know what you include on your list.

    Next time be sure to check out High Tides @ Snack Jacks! It's the oldest restaurant in Flagler Beach, the structure has been there since the 1940s! It's also the only restaurant right on the ocean besides the pier. You guys will love it!

    You guys should try Break Awayz on your next visit. They're a little north of 100 on A1A and the food is really, really good. Your other video also had a BBQ place. I'd recommend visiting Captain's BBQ. It's further down near Hammock on the Intracoastal, but they have the best BBQ. 🙂

    Sorry but this post is rather misleading. As are the UA-cam videos created by the chamber of commerce. There’s NO decent hotels here. They’re basically over priced dumps.. that look like crack houses. The only shells that can be found are in the VERY FEW gift shops.. there isn’t any shopping here. The food is good though. That’s about it.

    • @ChadGallivanter
      @ChadGallivanter  3 роки тому +3

      Nothing at all “misleading.” Have some of the businesses featured in the two years since the video was done closed? Yes. But nothing “misleading.” Flagler Beach is a beautiful small town with many mom and pop businesses.

      I have to agree. I used to live there for many years and are considering returning. The hotels are not on A1A, unless you are going to the Hammock. You may want to seek lodging on Old Kings Road. Palm Coast is a retirement community for a certain group of people and they want to keep it that way.
