Beachcomber and Omega's part made so much sense for me, they're probably together searching for resources and like you said that Beachcomber is a geologist so probably Omega left him on a planet The planet where Beachcomber was, probably got eaten by Unicron and that's why we see Beachcomber together with the others escaping the exploding Unicron.
I love the attention to detail in this, and your sound reasoning for how characters can be integrated within the movie in a way that makes sense. Even at the age of 40, this movie still sends a shiver down my spine. Cosmos was one of my favourite characters and I really like what you did. Really well thought out!
Wheeljack and WIndcharger were shown when the Autobots were barricaded at Autobot city and moving the catapult. Their bodies are being moved, or at least Windcharger's is.
I unequivocally redact that portion of the movie. I even have a video where I photoshop out Wheeljack from that scene (and I have to save Windcharger too).
I like that you’re trying to add all the missing characters and not just killing them off. People have always assumed they all just were killed. Yeah, I get it, some of our beloved characters were ultimately meant to be casualties. I never liked the “if they weren’t seen in season 3, they died” mentality
The way I look it is this if I didn't see certain autobot characters die in movie, nor see a body, or even hear their name being called as being dead, to me they are still alive, just because we don't see certain characters from Season 1 and 2 in Season 3, that doesn't necessarily mean they were killed off, just not being used anymore in the series.

I had an idea for Skids that I stated in the live stream where you see him inside Autobot city fighting some Seeker clones in a hallway, I had the idea that this scene would happen when Starscream orders a retreat after the battle where we can see a back shot of the seekers looking back in surprise as they would start booking it for Astrotrain, so that the scene could take place after his fight with the Insecticons.
Thanks for the idea! While it's possible, I realized after I recorded this video that since he and Seaspray are the only loners as it stands, I might have to pair them together near the moat. I won't be able to add him to 2 scenes, so we'll have to wait and see what's best. Ideas are changing all the time. I've just realized that it would make sense if more characters were on the Moonbases, so that may change my plans.

@@Artiststan I think the primary battle has to be at autobot city. The very reason other autobots were sent on the shuttle was to obtain additional energon to allow for an assault from the moon bases. The decepticons know they are there, so a surprise attack on earth made more sense in my opinion to also nullify a large scale attack due to low energon.
Supernova….. if you don’t mind I’d like to add my theory to your idea. I like the concept of the skids as part of a counter offensive. Perhaps adding the likes of ultra Magnus, skids, red alert , stringer etc providing heavy gun fire to the fleeing decepticons. Which in my opinion would flow nicely into the Optimus death scene. We already knew kup and hot rod were there, but I think brining a counter assault from those that were fighting devastator , we get to see them concluding their battle with the constructicons and driving them onto Astro train.
Skids was underused because in a case box of 16 or 20. There were usually only like 1 or 2 among the box. When normally in a case of 20. It's usually 4 or 5 different characters, with it usually being a 4 or 5 way split of that particular character. Why didn't Hasbro have any love for Skids?? Only Hasbro can answer those questions. Because of his lack of love. He only made 2 appearances in Season 2 of the Generation 2 cartoon. Quest for Survival. And Triple Takeover.
I like what you are doing with the classic Transformers!!! Just imagine what the movie could have been if the changes you have made and created using the deleted scenes and improved scenes by you!!! This is excellent and I love it. I am a 42yo girl with 2 adult kids and I have loved both Transformers and GIJoe since I was 3 years old. Kudos to you!!!
I already drawn both Wheeljack and Windcharger completely dazed and have them help the movie characters on my sketchbooks back in 2020. I also draw Smokescreen, who is on the shuttle, after he saves Prowl from Scavenger. I draw three panels as his gun got knocked out of his hand. I have been doing it on my own, since 2020, on my free time.
You could have Cosmos & BeachComber trying to escape from one of the Moon Bases when Unicron attacks but being sucked back into Unicron before they can get away.
Just a thought, In regards to the sequence of events where cosmos drops off reinforcements into autobot city, perhaps they land either at the same time of primes arrival, or slightly before in reference to the radio message to prime from blaster perhaps?

The trade paperback of the IDW adaptation has a two-page spreadsheet of Omega Supreme working with Superion and Defensor defending the Ark from Menasor and Bruticus. That would be cool to see animated.
Yeah but that's a bit far fetched as an explanation...l mean there's a massive battle going on in the City with Autobots being slaughtered and we're expected to buy that all of the most powerful bots are off at the Ark having their own little mini battle?

@@TF80sAlso, Omega was an overmatch against any of the Decepticon (or Autobot) combiners, so a fight with Omega, Superion, and Defensor facing just Bruticus and Menasor wouldn’t last very long. And Omega and the Combiners probably aren’t going to defend an empty Ark anyway, when Autobot City’s garrison is being overwhelmed in a surprise attack. The worst that could happen at the Ark is Teletran 1 being blown up for the 87th time. Go save Wheeljack and he’ll have it fixed in a few hours with some duct tape and an outboard motor.

This is idea is great, i always thought this movie needed to be longer if they were going to kill off so many characters. I watched a bonus interview of the voice actors for transformers it had 10 or 12 people on the panel. In 1986 none of them had at the time realized what these characters meant and how popular they were. The first two seasons of the show plus the movie were incredible. They nerfed the autobots and the deceptions destroyed them. I see more than Prime taking out the decepticons. Even though i had all the new figures as well from 1986 to 1989. I even had the mail in offers, like Reflector and stunt cars. After Galvatron, the Sweeps, Rodimus, sky linx, metroplex, trypikon, and more combiners came out, the show and toy line went down hill. Its like the Hasbro ran out of ideas after the first 3 years and the toy quality suffered. Hasbro could of had 20 versions of Prime and it would of sold. They should of had years of shows, material and not a 20 year lapse in popularity. Hasbro and the producers messed up.
Most of the creative team on one of The Transformers the movie Blu-ray said that alot of Season 2 characters weren't in the movie or didn't have major speaking role was because most of them either didn't exist at the time of creating the movie. Or had no character development at that point and time. Remember, that they worked on this project for nearly 2 years. As far as Jetfire. The animators simply stop using him because it was too many complications from the outside company that originally created him.
Correct. All the stuff about Omega and the combiners fighting at the Ark is just ret-conning to make the timeline make sense. Because if they all exist, then 2 Autobot combiners + Omega Supreme are more than a match for 3 Decepticon combiners. And Omega never would have missed a chance to crush Devastator (again).
It's very good that you adapt the Transformers The Movie well because I think a lot of kids would be much happier if the good beat the bad instead of Optimus Prime dying for example

You forgot about the arielbots and protectobots. In an IDW comic iteration of Transformers the Movie, it shows Omega Supreme back at the original autobot headquarters on earth, fending off other decepticon combiners like Menasaur, and Bruticus, and he has Superion and Defensor alongside him.

Add Omega in there, or even replace one Autobot combiner with Omega, and the Autobots win that one very quickly. Omega is more than a match for any combiner.
Personally, I think that would be great to see that animated and added to the movie. It makes sense to add these additional characters to show that there was more than 10 characters defending Autobot City and not to mention, more battles. Good job!!!!

Yes Inferno and Red Alert are there to help put any fires that could be on the shuttle and to also potentially pilot the shuttle if need be after Defensor has grabbed the shuttle and then disengaged. Have Hoist and Grapple and also Sparkplug Witwicky with Huffer and Kup. Plus also Gears, Pipes and Swerve. Kup goes with Hot Rod. Hoist, Grapple, Sparkplug, Huffer, Gears, Pipes and Swerve then meet up with Inferno and Red Alert after Sandstorm drops them off and creates a dust storm to destract the Decepticons (the Combaticons). Plus also meet up with the Protectobots. While Jetfire fights the Decepticon Seekers. The Protectobots after arriving and grabbing the shuttle using Defensor’s force field, then disengage. First Aid will be helped by Hoist, Grapple and Sparkplug in particular to repair the injured Autobots that were on the shuttle. I think that the deceptions simultaneously attacked autobot and the arc in a follow-up comic to explain the missing autobouts and deceptions, plus do to the fact that the the movie began production slightly b4 season 2 most of the combiners technically and alot of the season 2 robots didn't exist to the makers of the movie until probably post production. According to the episode Dark awakening the bodies of iron hide, ratchet, and prowl wasn't destroyed in the shuttle crash, so maybe Braun survived and landed the shuttle. 99.7 percent probability he didn't, Awesome channel I haven't watched transformers g1 this much in only 30 years. I could honestly see doing a full movie about all the unincluded characters that takes place at the same time as TFTM. Obviously, not everyone will survive, but it would be fun to explore the possibilities.
Teletran 1 was blown up several times in the first couple of seasons. Wheeljack could have fixed it in a couple of hours if the other Autobots had showed up at Autobot City and kept him from being killed off screen.

The Shuttle blows up. On camera. That's one reason the Decepticons jump out of it and it's never mentioned again. Snarl is in the movie. He's always just off screen... but is shown in Autobot City and shown to have been on Quintessa and Junk.

I do reckon still that there shouldn't be a clone of Cyclonus and the Insecticons 'should' become The Sweeps, so Skywarp becomes Cyclonus and Thundercracker Scourge. Also don't forget that the Season 2 Mini-Vehicles reappear on The Five Faces of Darkness when Trypticon destroys the old Autobot base with Teletran 1. Kinda hope that those Autobots didn't die too, lol. And if there was a way to include Snarl at the beginning taking on Devastator, that would make more sense rather than him being on Earth alone. Very detailed explanation. But I always assumed that since they had so many of the Cybertron force on Earth, a good number of the first two season autobots may have rotated back to the two moon bases. When Optimus flew back with the dinobots, he would have had to have left a sizable contingent on the two moons, which is why only a small detachment came with him to Earth. Plus it's reasonable to believe that in 15 years of steady combat that several season 1 & 2 characters had been destroyed in other battles, or maybe when the autobots lost their foot hold on Cybertron.

They autobot s who were killed off were voiced by Chris latta who was originally fired for drug abuse . Image if he wasn't abusing drugs and the characters weren't killed off
yes yes yes!!! more :D I want to say let my beloved Prowl be the unconcious one but it looks like he flat out died. brawn should be blown in half, ironhide's head was disintegrated by megatron, so I can see only ratchet being the one that survived.
There was no direct evidence that Ironhide’s head was blown off. Plus Transformers have suffered similar damage to those on the shuttle and have survived.
I personally feel like Wheeljack should be given a lot more to work with since he was given a much larger role in the original draft of the movie. Say for example, he's aiding Preceptor in trying to sustain Optimus' spark, or having him do a scene where he fixes up Ultra Magnus with the Junkions

I thought the whole thing about Wheeljack being alive again was it was an alternate universe version that tried to prevent this timeline's death in 2005 but missed the mark but decided to stay anyways. Also, considering how in Season 3 the Ark is still a base until Trypticon destroys it, it'd be a good way to have the combiners and other Autobots like Warpath guarding there and under attack to prevent being able to send help. So Autobots were scattered all over with limited forces.
That's what happen in the Japanese Transformers Continuity, due to Japan did not get the 1986 movie until much later. That's why some characters from Seasons 1 and 2 shows up in the Headmasters, Super God Masterforce and Victory even if some of them are meant to be dead at that point. The more you know.

It seems that the curtailing of Season 4 (Rebirth) from 5 to 3 episodes was for suspiciously similar reasons to deleting many scenes (and charcters) in The Movie! Of course, many Season 2 characters did participate in Season 3 (e.g. Cosmos, Powerglide), while some Season 1 characters got 'fake' appearances in Season 3 (e.g. Skyfire, Huffer, Brawn). Also, contrary to popular opinion, the Combiners are not Season 2 characters as they were really intended for Season 3, but were nevertheless given 'preview' appearances in Season 2 (e.g. War Dawn).
I was always curious how they retrieved the autobots from the shuttle ambush to later get placed in the "Dark Awakening" tomb. Inferno and Hoist would be great to help with the shuttle as it was damaged and on fire. I love Seaspray in the moat! What about the Aerialbots? Maybe they could fly in and have Superion catch the shuttle! Sorry! Just excited. I know we're all just spit-balling here!
I think there are two really simple solutions to this: - add characters to the crews who stay behind to guard the Cybertron Moon Bases. - add the scene from the comic adaptation where a second Decepticon force invades the Ark. In this battle many missing Autobots can be present to help Omega Supreme, Defensor, and Superion fight off the missing Decepticon Combiners
Here’s the thing though. The Autobot and Decepticon combiners are pretty evenly matched, with Menasor only getting the upper hand over Superion that one time because a whole mountain fell on the latter. And actually, Defensor has defeated Bruticus handily before. And Omega is much bigger and stronger than any of the Decepticon combiners. So with Omega, Superion, Defensor, plus some other Autobots would easily take out 2 Decepticon combiners in short order, and Omega would waste no time in getting to Autobot City and pummeling Devastator. You’d need to throw in a lot more Decepticons (maybe even Trypticon) to make it plausible.
Just watched this and I thought your ideas were pretty good. But I gotta point out that the Windcharger was dead. Trailbreaker, hoist and several others were storyboarded and scripted to be part of an "autobot run" where they charged through a gauntlet of decepticons and all meeting their maker in the process just before Prime arrived. The idea of Omega and the other minibots being off world is spot on. Flint Dille confirmed that as part of the story several years ago. That the minibots that we didn't see were all on a side mission with Omega and the combiners had been stationed at the Ark where Menasor and Bruticus had been sent to attack. Hence why they were not written in. At least if they had decided to revisit the movie storyline in more detail during season 3 that was going to be the explanation. I would think that Beachcomber being on the conveyor alongside Bee and the moon base autobots would suggest he too was on the moons. Never on earth. Hound and sunstreaker in theory, after being spotted at the construction site with the others then were with Prime's shuttle... I always assumed they flew up (possibly inside Skyfire) under Blaster's orders to act as a guide to bring Prime's shuttle in through the wreckage and chaos of the battle. Kind of like guiding a ship into harbor
If Seaspray isn't fighting the insecticons at the drawbridge he must be preoccupied. Possibly with Skids and/or Snarl? Explaining why Snarl wasn't around until later. At this point, they should be smart enough to work/patrol in pairs/teams outside the city
Brawn was the least damaged since he was only shot at the shoulder while Prowl, IronHide and Ratchet got direct chest hits. It's more likely that Brawn stayed possum and woke up when Hot Rod shot at the shuttle as the Decepticons left. I'm assuming that the other Autobots like the AerialBots&ProtectoBots Combiners are somewhere to ensure that other parts of Earth is protected as well as the Ark is guarded too. Anyway the Combiners would later arrive to Autobot city to clean up after Ultra Magnus&HotRod's shuttles had taken off for space. FirstAid would be very busy and would triage which can be saved. Obviously they would need to use the Ark's repair systems to repair/reformat some bots or keep them in stasis lock. Also the Decepticon Combiners might also had fought the Autobot Combiners. Overall Megatron had the numerical advantage to keep the Autobot Combiners busy with the Predacons. Note that the Decepticons could had sent the Combiners behind the scenes using the spacebridge. So Omega Supreme could had been kept occupied by the Predacons.

@@charlesjensen1002 My plan is to use AI to update the movie with modern CGI and add extra scenes that wasn't shown in the movie similar to whatever scenes that you had mentioned. Obviously this will take a lot of time and cpu/video processing power as I'll use Blender&Unreal or Unity to make this 3D movie. I'll make sure that Snarl got included into the scenes that the Dinobots had in the movie. Maybe the Decepticon Combiners had their own battles with the Autobot Combiners attacking the Ark&keping Omega Supreme occupied from helping Autobot City. With the Transformer Devastation game, i could probably rip the 3D assets off as place holders so that the 3D models are as close to the movie. As for JetFire, since SkyFire had been fatally damaged, he could had been reformatted into JetFire or like the Sweeps, his spark was transplanted or cloned into a new body. There's also SkyLinx and what time he should had joined the Autobots. The only issue I had with the movie is that Autobot's Scramble City was built with Metroplex and then Autobot City since Megatron was still in charge when Trypticon emerged from the sea. Trypticon was built from the remains of the Nemesis. So not sure if they should be included in the Transformers movie. Anyway I should really write down the script of how I wanted the movie should had been made with all of the autobots and decepticons at the time the movie happened. I'm looking at the 50th anniversary deadline to finish this updated 3D animated movie.

I don't think Prowl will live. He was clearly already grey when he collapsed on the floor. A personal suggestion would be to keep some of the autobots dead to show how dangerous the decepticons truly were, and keeping characters that died in the storyboards dead. It's just a personal suggestion. Mirage for example, could be heavily wounded by megatron's blast at him when the sweeps come to AC.
He's not going to have any deaths..he's going to adjust the shuttle attack so Prowl won't turn grey in his version. It's a shame but it's his project so what can we do? 😉
I figured that the Autobots from Seasons 1 to 3 that did not appear in the movie, were on Cybertron. There's a finite amount of screen time for each character, so putting these Autobots on Cybertron makes sense.
To the best of my knowledge Preceptor, Blaster , Jazz and bumblebee were the only Autobots that survived from season 1 and 2 and after the movie. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Now it brings to light why Snarl was not part of the Dinobots in reinforcement scene opposite Devastator. Still, it doesn't make sense why Snarl didn't reunite with its co-mech reptiles (only Slag made a hit). And so is Inferno which mentioned in the cast of characters but didn't appear all throughout. I almost overplayed the VHS tape but still nowhere to be found. Excuses aside amidst the copy's blur or grainy images on certain scenes, I was unable to see Snarl and Grapple. It would be great seeing the full Autobot cast in the "great war, take 2".

You should deffo include the season two Female Autobots and maybe even Devcon, the Bounty Hunter. I would also love to have Twin Twist & Top Spin be included..l feel like it was a huge missed opportunity by Hasbro not to include them in even just a couple of episodes of the G1 series.

I love the attention to detail in this, and your sound reasoning for how characters can be integrated within the movie in a way that makes sense. Even at the age of 40, this movie still sends a shiver down my spine. Cosmos was one of my favourite characters and I really like what you did. Really well thought out!
Wheeljack and WIndcharger were shown when the Autobots were barricaded at Autobot city and moving the catapult. Their bodies are being moved, or at least Windcharger's is.
I unequivocally redact that portion of the movie. I even have a video where I photoshop out Wheeljack from that scene (and I have to save Windcharger too).
I like that you’re trying to add all the missing characters and not just killing them off. People have always assumed they all just were killed. Yeah, I get it, some of our beloved characters were ultimately meant to be casualties. I never liked the “if they weren’t seen in season 3, they died” mentality

The way I look it is this if I didn't see certain autobot characters die in movie, nor see a body, or even hear their name being called as being dead, to me they are still alive, just because we don't see certain characters from Season 1 and 2 in Season 3, that doesn't necessarily mean they were killed off, just not being used anymore in the series.

That's why I will always accept the Japanese Headmasters series over that thing they called season 4. Hound/Smokescreen/Sunstreaker all showed up alive early in that season.
I had an idea for Skids that I stated in the live stream where you see him inside Autobot city fighting some Seeker clones in a hallway, I had the idea that this scene would happen when Starscream orders a retreat after the battle where we can see a back shot of the seekers looking back in surprise as they would start booking it for Astrotrain, so that the scene could take place after his fight with the Insecticons.
Thanks for the idea! While it's possible, I realized after I recorded this video that since he and Seaspray are the only loners as it stands, I might have to pair them together near the moat. I won't be able to add him to 2 scenes, so we'll have to wait and see what's best. Ideas are changing all the time. I've just realized that it would make sense if more characters were on the Moonbases, so that may change my plans.

@@Artiststan I think the primary battle has to be at autobot city. The very reason other autobots were sent on the shuttle was to obtain additional energon to allow for an assault from the moon bases. The decepticons know they are there, so a surprise attack on earth made more sense in my opinion to also nullify a large scale attack due to low energon.
Supernova….. if you don’t mind I’d like to add my theory to your idea. I like the concept of the skids as part of a counter offensive. Perhaps adding the likes of ultra Magnus, skids, red alert , stringer etc providing heavy gun fire to the fleeing decepticons. Which in my opinion would flow nicely into the Optimus death scene. We already knew kup and hot rod were there, but I think brining a counter assault from those that were fighting devastator , we get to see them concluding their battle with the constructicons and driving them onto Astro train.
Skids was underused because in a case box of 16 or 20.

I already drawn both Wheeljack and Windcharger completely dazed and have them help the movie characters on my sketchbooks back in 2020. I also draw Smokescreen, who is on the shuttle, after he saves Prowl from Scavenger. I draw three panels as his gun got knocked out of his hand. I have been doing it on my own, since 2020, on my free time.

You could have Cosmos & BeachComber trying to escape from one of the Moon Bases when Unicron attacks but being sucked back into Unicron before they can get away.

The trade paperback of the IDW adaptation has a two-page spreadsheet of Omega Supreme working with Superion and Defensor defending the Ark from Menasor and Bruticus. That would be cool to see animated.
Yeah but that's a bit far fetched as an explanation...l mean there's a massive battle going on in the City with Autobots being slaughtered and we're expected to buy that all of the most powerful bots are off at the Ark having their own little mini battle?
@@TF80sI mean, the ARK would still be pretty important so while the bulk of the Decepticons are in Autobot City, some of their big hitters would be distracting the Autobot's big hitters away from Autobot City leaving Devastator without another Combiner to fight against.
@@TF80sAlso, Omega was an overmatch against any of the Decepticon (or Autobot) combiners, so a fight with Omega, Superion, and Defensor facing just Bruticus and Menasor wouldn’t last very long. And Omega and the Combiners probably aren’t going to defend an empty Ark anyway, when Autobot City’s garrison is being overwhelmed in a surprise attack. The worst that could happen at the Ark is Teletran 1 being blown up for the 87th time. Go save Wheeljack and he’ll have it fixed in a few hours with some duct tape and an outboard motor.

Omega and one Autobot combiner is an overmatch for any two Decepticon combiners. So either let Omega and one Autobot combiner wipe the floor with the Decepticon combiners, while the other Autobot combiner faces Devaststor, or let the Autobot and Decepticon combiners stalemate each other while Omega goes to wipe the floor with his hated enemy Devastator…again.

This is idea is great, i always thought this movie needed to be longer if they were going to kill off so many characters. I watched a bonus interview of the voice actors for transformers it had 10 or 12 people on the panel. In 1986 none of them had at the time realized what these characters meant and how popular they were. The first two seasons of the show plus the movie were incredible. They nerfed the autobots and the deceptions destroyed them. I see more than Prime taking out the decepticons. Even though i had all the new figures as well from 1986 to 1989. I even had the mail in offers, like Reflector and stunt cars. After Galvatron, the Sweeps, Rodimus, sky linx, metroplex, trypikon, and more combiners came out, the show and toy line went down hill. Its like the Hasbro ran out of ideas after the first 3 years and the toy quality suffered. Hasbro could of had 20 versions of Prime and it would of sold. They should of had years of shows, material and not a 20 year lapse in popularity. Hasbro and the producers messed up.

Most of the creative team on one of The Transformers the movie Blu-ray said that alot of Season 2 characters weren't in the movie or didn't have major speaking role was because most of them either didn't exist at the time of creating the movie.
Or had no character development at that point and time.
Remember, that they worked on this project for nearly 2 years.
As far as Jetfire.
The animators simply stop using him because it was too many complications from the outside company that originally created him.

Because if they all exist, then 2 Autobot combiners + Omega Supreme are more than a match for 3 Decepticon combiners. And Omega never would have missed a chance to crush Devastator (again).
It's very good that you adapt the Transformers The Movie well because I think a lot of kids would be much happier if the good beat the bad instead of Optimus Prime dying for example

You forgot about the arielbots and protectobots. In an IDW comic iteration of Transformers the Movie, it shows Omega Supreme back at the original autobot headquarters on earth, fending off other decepticon combiners like Menasaur, and Bruticus, and he has Superion and Defensor alongside him.
I didn't forget, I just don't read IDW comics, and I think I personally wouldn't use a "catch all" shot like that to explain away their absence.

@@ArtiststanNot to mention it doesn’t explain why you’d need 2 Autobot combiners AND Omega Supreme to handle 2 Decepticon combiners. 2-on-2 combiners is a pretty close match. Add Omega in there, or even replace one Autobot combiner with Omega, and the Autobots win that one very quickly. Omega is more than a match for any combiner.
I wonder if other moments from the scripts and even the 30th anniversary comic will be included.
Personally, I think that would be great to see that animated and added to the movie. It makes sense to add these additional characters to show that there was more than 10 characters defending Autobot City and not to mention, more battles. Good job!!!!
Thoughts on this below:
A few ideas for when the battle starts just outside Autobot City near the construction site.
Have Jetfire escort Sandstorm who will drop off Inferno and Red Alert and have the Protectobots using their force field to grab the shuttle to stop it from crash landing.
Yes Jetfire can fight of Decepticons if necessary while escorting Sandstorm (carrying Inferno and Red Alert aboard) and the Protectobots with them..
Yes Inferno and Red Alert are there to help put any fires that could be on the shuttle and to also potentially pilot the shuttle if need be after Defensor has grabbed the shuttle and then disengaged.
Have Hoist and Grapple and also Sparkplug Witwicky with Huffer and Kup. Plus also Gears, Pipes and Swerve.
Kup goes with Hot Rod.
Hoist, Grapple, Sparkplug, Huffer, Gears, Pipes and Swerve then meet up with Inferno and Red Alert after Sandstorm drops them off and creates a dust storm to destract the Decepticons (the Combaticons). Plus also meet up with the Protectobots.
While Jetfire fights the Decepticon Seekers.
The Protectobots after arriving and grabbing the shuttle using Defensor’s force field, then disengage.
First Aid will be helped by Hoist, Grapple and Sparkplug in particular to repair the injured Autobots that were on the shuttle.
Huffer, Gears, Pipes and Swerve will possibly either help repair the injured Autobots also.
*Ratchet will not be on the shuttle.
Instead have Ironhide, Prowl, Trailbreaker and Bluestreak on the shuttle.
My reasons for these ideas are the following:
*Defensor has a force field.
*Autobot City has a medical Officer in First Aid.
*Having Hoist and Grapple along with Sparkplug at the construction site just outside of Autobot City makes sense.
As the three of them are qualified in this area. Plus they can help First Aid repair the injured Autobots on the shuttle.
*Having Gears and also Pipes and Swerve at the construction site outside Autobot City makes sense.
As they have the skills needed and they can assist First Aid, Hoist, Grapple and Sparkplug to repair the Autobots injured aboard the shuttle.
*It is a chance to introduce the other new Autobots from 1986 which is why I mentioned Pipes, Swerve and Sandstorm.
The movie did not introduce a lot of these newer characters.
*Plus why I have changed the Autobots on the shuttle is simply it did not make sense that Ratchet was aboard the shuttle.
*Also the same could be a bit said about Brawn being aboard the shuttle.
*Plus I have another idea for where Brawn could be in the movie.
Have more ideas which @artiststan might be interested in. Which I will post later.

I think that the deceptions simultaneously attacked autobot and the arc in a follow-up comic to explain the missing autobouts and deceptions, plus do to the fact that the the movie began production slightly b4 season 2 most of the combiners technically and alot of the season 2 robots didn't exist to the makers of the movie until probably post production. According to the episode Dark awakening the bodies of iron hide, ratchet, and prowl wasn't destroyed in the shuttle crash, so maybe Braun survived and landed the shuttle. 99.7 percent probability he didn't, Awesome channel I haven't watched transformers g1 this much in only 30 years. Olove ya content.

I could honestly see doing a full movie about all the unincluded characters that takes place at the same time as TFTM. Obviously, not everyone will survive, but it would be fun to explore the possibilities.

Teletran 1 was blown up several times in the first couple of seasons. Wheeljack could have fixed it in a couple of hours if the other Autobots had showed up at Autobot City and kept him from being killed off screen.

Considering all the water around Autobot City I really wish there was a scene with Sea-Spray battling it out perhaps in the somewhat moats or the waterfalls surrounding Metroplex city

I think you're missing Gears. Don't leave him out, lol. Loving your ideas too, mate. I do reckon still that there shouldn't be a clone of Cyclonus and the Insecticons 'should' become The Sweeps, so Skywarp becomes Cyclonus and Thundercracker Scourge.
Also don't forget that the Season 2 Mini-Vehicles reappear on The Five Faces of Darkness when Trypticon destroys the old Autobot base with Teletran 1. Kinda hope that those Autobots didn't die too, lol.
And if there was a way to include Snarl at the beginning taking on Devastator, that would make more sense rather than him being on Earth alone.

Very detailed explanation. But I always assumed that since they had so many of the Cybertron force on Earth, a good number of the first two season autobots may have rotated back to the two moon bases. When Optimus flew back with the dinobots, he would have had to have left a sizable contingent on the two moons, which is why only a small detachment came with him to Earth. Plus it's reasonable to believe that in 15 years of steady combat that several season 1 & 2 characters had been destroyed in other battles, or maybe when the autobots lost their foot hold on Cybertron.

minor point, Tracks did appear briefly in the movie in the scene with Grapple, at the end where the Autobots charge you can see Tracks move into the foreground (it's just his lower body and legs though

The generally accepted theory is all the missing characters (s2 & combiners) were having a battle at the Ark/former Autobot HQ.
Fun fact. there's a tie in comic for the movie that shows where most of the other Autobots were during the attack.

Bluestreak is Prowl but with Bluestreak colors also when it first came on TV when Prime is talking to Ironhide he says a new line about the Arielbots and Omega Supreme off on a mission looking for Energon
They autobot s who were killed off were voiced by Chris latta who was originally fired for drug abuse . Image if he wasn't abusing drugs and the characters weren't killed off

There was no direct evidence that Ironhide’s head was blown off.
Plus Transformers have suffered similar damage to those on the shuttle and have survived.
I personally feel like Wheeljack should be given a lot more to work with since he was given a much larger role in the original draft of the movie. Say for example, he's aiding Preceptor in trying to sustain Optimus' spark, or having him do a scene where he fixes up Ultra Magnus with the Junkions

When Autobot City is transforming there is a shot of a lot of unknown Autobots scrambling to safety. An easy excuse is that a lot of them were fighting but never given a scene.
A few ideas for when the battle starts just outside Autobot City near the construction site.
Have Jetfire escort Sandstorm who will drop off Inferno and Red Alert and have the Protectobots using their force field to grab the shuttle to stop it from crash landing.
Yes Jetfire can fight of Decepticons if necessary while escorting Sandstorm (carrying Inferno and Red Alert aboard) and the Protectobots with them..
Yes Inferno and Red Alert are there to help put any fires that could be on the shuttle and to also potentially pilot the shuttle if need be after Defensor has grabbed the shuttle and then disengaged.
Have Hoist and Grapple and also Sparkplug Witwicky with Huffer and Kup. Plus also Gears, Pipes and Swerve.
Kup goes with Hot Rod.
Hoist, Grapple, Sparkplug, Huffer, Gears, Pipes and Swerve then meet up with Inferno and Red Alert after Sandstorm drops them off and creates a dust storm to destract the Decepticons (the Combaticons). Plus also meet up with the Protectobots.
While Jetfire fights the Decepticon Seekers.
The Protectobots after arriving and grabbing the shuttle using Defensor’s force field, then disengage.
First Aid will be helped by Hoist, Grapple and Sparkplug in particular to repair the injured Autobots that were on the shuttle.
Huffer, Gears, Pipes and Swerve will possibly either help repair the injured Autobots also.
*Ratchet will not be on the shuttle.
Instead have Ironhide, Prowl, Trailbreaker and Bluestreak on the shuttle.
My reasons for these ideas are the following:

*Autobot City has a medical Officer in First Aid.
*Having Hoist and Grapple along with Sparkplug at the construction site just outside of Autobot City makes sense.
As the three of them are qualified in this area. Plus they can help First Aid repair the injured Autobots on the shuttle.
*Having Gears and also Pipes and Swerve at the construction site outside Autobot City makes sense.
As they have the skills needed and they can assist First Aid, Hoist, Grapple and Sparkplug to repair the Autobots injured aboard the shuttle.
*It is a chance to introduce the other new Autobots from 1986 which is why I mentioned Pipes, Swerve and Sandstorm.
The movie did not introduce a lot of these newer characters.
*Plus why I have changed the Autobots on the shuttle is simply it did not make sense that Ratchet was aboard the shuttle.
*Also the same could be a bit said about Brawn being aboard the shuttle.
*Plus I have another idea for where Brawn could be in the movie.

I thought the whole thing about Wheeljack being alive again was it was an alternate universe version that tried to prevent this timeline's death in 2005 but missed the mark but decided to stay anyways.
Also, considering how in Season 3 the Ark is still a base until Trypticon destroys it, it'd be a good way to have the combiners and other Autobots like Warpath guarding there and under attack to prevent being able to send help. So Autobots were scattered all over with limited forces.
That's what happen in the Japanese Transformers Continuity, due to Japan did not get the 1986 movie until much later. That's why some characters from Seasons 1 and 2 shows up in the Headmasters, Super God Masterforce and Victory even if some of them are meant to be dead at that point. The more you know.
especially when it comes to my favorite Transformers that you also indicate that it is also your favorite Transformer and if you are doing well adapting a movie you can take out the nasty parts and adjust them
You should of added the omnibots Camshaft, Downshift Overdrive into the movie, have them help out at autobot city along with Roadbuster.
It seems that the curtailing of Season 4 (Rebirth) from 5 to 3 episodes was for suspiciously similar reasons to deleting many scenes (and charcters) in The Movie!
Of course, many Season 2 characters did participate in Season 3 (e.g. Cosmos, Powerglide), while some Season 1 characters got 'fake' appearances in Season 3 (e.g. Skyfire, Huffer, Brawn).
Also, contrary to popular opinion, the Combiners are not Season 2 characters as they were really intended for Season 3, but were nevertheless given 'preview' appearances in Season 2 (e.g. War Dawn).

I was always curious how they retrieved the autobots from the shuttle ambush to later get placed in the "Dark Awakening" tomb.
Inferno and Hoist would be great to help with the shuttle as it was damaged and on fire. I love Seaspray in the moat! What about the Aerialbots? Maybe they could fly in and have Superion catch the shuttle! Sorry! Just excited. I know we're all just spit-balling here!
Yeah, it's funny how the Combiners sans-Devastator weren't included.
I think there are two really simple solutions to this:
- add characters to the crews who stay behind to guard the Cybertron Moon Bases.
- add the scene from the comic adaptation where a second Decepticon force invades the Ark. In this battle many missing Autobots can be present to help Omega Supreme, Defensor, and Superion fight off the missing Decepticon Combiners
Here’s the thing though. The Autobot and Decepticon combiners are pretty evenly matched, with Menasor only getting the upper hand over Superion that one time because a whole mountain fell on the latter. And actually, Defensor has defeated Bruticus handily before. And Omega is much bigger and stronger than any of the Decepticon combiners. So with Omega, Superion, Defensor, plus some other Autobots would easily take out 2 Decepticon combiners in short order, and Omega would waste no time in getting to Autobot City and pummeling Devastator. You’d need to throw in a lot more Decepticons (maybe even Trypticon) to make it plausible.
Just watched this and I thought your ideas were pretty good. But I gotta point out that the Windcharger was dead. Trailbreaker, hoist and several others were storyboarded and scripted to be part of an "autobot run" where they charged through a gauntlet of decepticons and all meeting their maker in the process just before Prime arrived. The idea of Omega and the other minibots being off world is spot on. Flint Dille confirmed that as part of the story several years ago. That the minibots that we didn't see were all on a side mission with Omega and the combiners had been stationed at the Ark where Menasor and Bruticus had been sent to attack. Hence why they were not written in. At least if they had decided to revisit the movie storyline in more detail during season 3 that was going to be the explanation. I would think that Beachcomber being on the conveyor alongside Bee and the moon base autobots would suggest he too was on the moons. Never on earth. Hound and sunstreaker in theory, after being spotted at the construction site with the others then were with Prime's shuttle... I always assumed they flew up (possibly inside Skyfire) under Blaster's orders to act as a guide to bring Prime's shuttle in through the wreckage and chaos of the battle. Kind of like guiding a ship into harbor

You do know that Wheeljack and Windcharger were shown as lifeless when Arcee drag Windcharger's body during the catapult scene.
You could add them during their gunfight during autobot city battle before devastator rips through a big door.
Maybe you could swap out one of the appearances of Sunstreaker & Hound for Sideswipe & Smokescreen?

If Seaspray isn't fighting the insecticons at the drawbridge he must be preoccupied. Possibly with Skids and/or Snarl? Explaining why Snarl wasn't around until later. At this point, they should be smart enough to work/patrol in pairs/teams outside the city
Brawn was the least damaged since he was only shot at the shoulder while Prowl, IronHide and Ratchet got direct chest hits. It's more likely that Brawn stayed possum and woke up when Hot Rod shot at the shuttle as the Decepticons left. I'm assuming that the other Autobots like the AerialBots&ProtectoBots Combiners are somewhere to ensure that other parts of Earth is protected as well as the Ark is guarded too. Anyway the Combiners would later arrive to Autobot city to clean up after Ultra Magnus&HotRod's shuttles had taken off for space. FirstAid would be very busy and would triage which can be saved. Obviously they would need to use the Ark's repair systems to repair/reformat some bots or keep them in stasis lock. Also the Decepticon Combiners might also had fought the Autobot Combiners. Overall Megatron had the numerical advantage to keep the Autobot Combiners busy with the Predacons. Note that the Decepticons could had sent the Combiners behind the scenes using the spacebridge. So Omega Supreme could had been kept occupied by the Predacons.

@@charlesjensen1002 My plan is to use AI to update the movie with modern CGI and add extra scenes that wasn't shown in the movie similar to whatever scenes that you had mentioned. Obviously this will take a lot of time and cpu/video processing power as I'll use Blender&Unreal or Unity to make this 3D movie. I'll make sure that Snarl got included into the scenes that the Dinobots had in the movie. Maybe the Decepticon Combiners had their own battles with the Autobot Combiners attacking the Ark&keping Omega Supreme occupied from helping Autobot City. With the Transformer Devastation game, i could probably rip the 3D assets off as place holders so that the 3D models are as close to the movie. As for JetFire, since SkyFire had been fatally damaged, he could had been reformatted into JetFire or like the Sweeps, his spark was transplanted or cloned into a new body. There's also SkyLinx and what time he should had joined the Autobots. The only issue I had with the movie is that Autobot's Scramble City was built with Metroplex and then Autobot City since Megatron was still in charge when Trypticon emerged from the sea. Trypticon was built from the remains of the Nemesis. So not sure if they should be included in the Transformers movie. Anyway I should really write down the script of how I wanted the movie should had been made with all of the autobots and decepticons at the time the movie happened. I'm looking at the 50th anniversary deadline to finish this updated 3D animated movie.

I don't think Prowl will live. He was clearly already grey when he collapsed on the floor.
A personal suggestion would be to keep some of the autobots dead to show how dangerous the decepticons truly were, and keeping characters that died in the storyboards dead. It's just a personal suggestion. Mirage for example, could be heavily wounded by megatron's blast at him when the sweeps come to AC.
He's not going to have any deaths..he's going to adjust the shuttle attack so Prowl won't turn grey in his version. It's a shame but it's his project so what can we do? 😉
I figured that the Autobots from Seasons 1 to 3 that did not appear in the movie, were on Cybertron. There's a finite amount of screen time for each character, so putting these Autobots on Cybertron makes sense.
To the best of my knowledge Preceptor, Blaster , Jazz and bumblebee were the only Autobots that survived from season 1 and 2 and after the movie. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Are you going to include the scramble city teams too, or are they M.I.A.?

Still, it doesn't make sense why Snarl didn't reunite with its co-mech reptiles (only Slag made a hit).
And so is Inferno which mentioned in the cast of characters but didn't appear all throughout. I almost overplayed the VHS tape but still nowhere to be found.
Excuses aside amidst the copy's blur or grainy images on certain scenes, I was unable to see Snarl and Grapple.
It would be great seeing the full Autobot cast in the "great war, take 2".

Thanks for your support! I personally don't think the catch-all of having all the big guys at the Ark is sufficient, so I'm brainstorming still.
You should deffo include the season two Female Autobots and maybe even Devcon, the Bounty Hunter. I would also love to have Twin Twist & Top Spin be included..l feel like it was a huge missed opportunity by Hasbro not to include them in even just a couple of episodes of the G1 series.
Definitely female Autobots if I can. The only thing that holds me back is time -- I need more time!
