No mention of Soundwave, Wheeljack, and Arachnid??? Those were my most likable character in the series... In terms of the Diversity they provided... 1). Soundwave being the absolute loyal and steadfast follower of Megatron... He would NEVER leave his side, no matter what... Also his ability to conjure space bridges at will, his "petcon" Lazerbeak, brings a sort of diversity and possibility of other Transformers having such abilities and relationships with minor lifeforms of Cybertron... It makes sense as not all beings on Cybertron would have been huge hulking Bots... They should have been smaller and more diversified lifeforms as well... Also his ability to detect and manipulate all Sonic frequencies, could be a sign of other Transformers having control over other physical forces, such as the Light Spectrum, or Radio waves, or Kinetic energy etc. 2). Arachnid representing the Difference in terms of sub-species in Transformers (kinda like South African male and a Siberian Male Human) Her complete control over a seemingly independent form of life i.e. Insecticons, also showed promise for any future additions to the series... Maybe other Transformers could control all the Worker/Guard bots, or the Predacons, or maybe some other form of life such as the Scraplets, or some Worm like lifeforms, etc. 3). Wheeljack representing the diversification in terms of Military and Strategic Units... He was part of the Wreckers, but maybe there were other special Units formed by both Autobots & Decepticons, which never came to light... Maybe some research Units were sent out by Deceptions which found something unique... Or some Special Ops units who got wiped out by something and only a sole survivor was left... There were soooooo many areas which could have been expanded by Hasbro, if only they kept the show alive... The story was concluded too fast in my opinion... And although the ending itself was quite a good one, it could have been postponed much much further to experiment and incorporate all these ideas... I hope I didn't ramble too much, I just wanted to show my humble fanboy opinion on a video, which clearly also loves Transformers for what it is, and hopes for its best parts to come out in the future...
Speaking of crossovers, I highly recommend you check out Code Prime, the crossover fanfic between Transformers and Code Geass. And trust me when I say it’s a fun and engaging read. It mostly contains elements from the Aligned continuity ( mainly Prime), with a some elements from other incarnations of the Transformers franchise. Same goes to Code Geass, not only does Code Prime take cues from the canon anime, but also incorporates elements from the spinoff media into the main storyline. And what’s most fascinating about this fanfic, is that it manages to make the dynamic between the Transformers and the human characters a lot more interesting. And they all have genuine and unique chemistry with each other. More so than the movies ever did, hell probably even better than the canon Prime show. Currently two installments of this fanfic are completed, with a third one in development coming soon. In the mean time, here are the links to both installments. - www.fanfiction.net/s/13151821/1/Code-Prime-R1-Rebellion - www.fanfiction.net/s/13795604/1/Code-Prime-R2-Revolution
Peter Cullen once said that his delivery of Optimus was meant to show the character was "strong enough to be gentle", TF Prime Optimus perfectly embodies this
@@Blank__000__Blankyou also gotta keep in mind. Transformers prime takes place way later than the transformer 1 movie did. So he has REALLY matured. You can see him slightly change, honestly, change a little more than just “slightly.” But he changes as soon as he gets the matrix of leadership . Having multiple centuries to take it all in is going to change him.
"A children's story that can only be enjoyed by children isn't a good children's story in the slightest.” - C.S. Lewis, that quote sums up my feelings about how they covered their story, good for kids, but it can mean a lot more to another demographic. - Luke
C.S. Lewis is a legend, the Narnia series is one of my favourite book series ever, despite the fact that the last 2 books and the first one were not that great. The movies were also really good, I really enjoyed them
TFP was the only show to finally give the title "Transformers" a deeper meaning. Optimus' speech about change at the end of the series is the best speech ever written for this franchise.
Transformers Prime will always be my favorite transformers show. It is what I grew up with as a kid. While there was G1 Transformers, I just preferred more of TFP. The art style, the characters, the design, all of it. I am just sad that it didn't continue. But, all good things come to an end. Till all are one.

He kinda does... I think this version of Shockwave is more _stoic_ than actually _emotionless._ For the most part, I think he puts a hard lid on his feelings, and tries to put logic front and centre, despite some occasional annoyance (I love the scene where he's about stab Starscream's eye out in revenge, then when Screamer jabbers out his excuse, Shockwave pauses, then relents, "I find your reasoning... logical.") Though we certainly see fear in the finale... 😜
@@IdontpaytaxeslolPrime, it's after Starscream abandons Shockwave when the wreckers attack which leads to the destruction of all Shockwave's predacon embryos. Haven't seen Transformers One yet so I don't know if something similar happens.
Transformers Prime is my all-time favorite Transformers series. I've got all 3 seasons on DVD, I've got the main 5 Autobots, Megatron and Knockout toys and I got the game for the Wii. The Rooster Teeth WFC Trilogy and EarthSpark failed to recapture the awesomeness of Prime, in my opinion. I hope the Nostalgia Critic and Steve Reviews review this show eventually.
Have you even seen Earthspark. It’s not in the same league as Transformers Prime, but it’s definitely right up with some of the best. I’d say it’s solidly good Transformers show that should’ve been the first of the 2020s era instead of the WFC Trilogy.
@@ShockwaveFPSStudios Sorry, I've never saw it. I was just turning away from it because I heard it was woke, so I stayed away. I'm not anti-woke but after I saw your comment, I'm thinking of checking EarthSpark out.
This show had the best ever iteration of Starscream and I will die on that hill. He's not as one-dimensional as in other media, he has layers and development to him, thanks to the brilliant writing and the amazing voice acting by Steve Blum. And it's amazing precisely because he didn't try to emulate any of the past iterations, but instead did his own spin on the character. And it's glorious.
My mother loves the episode where Starscream and Knockout are constantly running from zombie Vehicons on the Nemesis. She laughs so hard every time. I love the episode where, I think it was Soundwave, he calls Starscream out on throwing a party to celebrate Megatron’s supposed death, and when Starscream lies about it, Soundwave shows him a clip from security footage. It’s Starscream dancing while forcing Vehicons to chant his name.🤣
Wym 1 dimensional? Armada Starscream wipes unfortunately. One of the best Transformer development arcs to come. Earthspark Starscream is also kind of good too.
Prime is what I consider to be perfection for Transformers. It streamlines the aesthetics of the High Moon games and Bayverse into a cohesive, highly stylized unique look, carries the excellent storytelling of Beast Wars, and on its best days, can be as much fun as Animated. Not to mention, it swiped the crown of Best Human Character. Agent William Fowler will always be my favorite human character in the entire franchise. It's also one of precious few entries where the exploits of the baddies are equally as entertaining as whatever the heroes are up to, which can largely be credited to a Starscream who's at his absolute slimiest and most conniving, a stone-cold Soundwave who surely gave kids nightmares, and the actual greatest character in Transformers, the sexiest thing since sex, never imitated, never duplicated, Knock Out. I could go on for hours and hours about how well it portrays the complex relationship between Optimus and Megatron, the way this is one of the best Optimus depictions we've ever gotten, how great all the worldbuilding is for both Cybertron and Earth, and a million other things, but I'd inevitably just end up repeating all of Emperor Kumquat's videos (watch them) Special mention goes to the all-star voice cast, who give 110% on every episode. Peter Cullen was probably just happy to be playing an Optimus who wasn't a psychopath, and gives Optimus this fatherly vibe that's stern, yet approachable, and I think it's the best Optimus he's ever done. It's matched perfectly by Frank Welker turning his Megatron voice completely on its head, giving the head 'Con a raspy, gravelly voice that just oozes delicious malevolence. It's not hard to see why Megatron is capable of keeping things locked down despite having such a backstabbing crew, when his voice gives him such a dominating presence. There's also, of course, Daryl Norris, whose silky tones are half the reason Knock Out became the standout character of the series, and Jeffrey Combs, who has implanted himself in my mind as the definitive Ratchet voice, and the only one I ever want voicing him. Transformers fans are known for their nostalgia bias, and I'm no different. Yet, when I look back at Prime with an objective lens, I find my opinions consistently reaffirmed. It holds up, even now, and I firmly believe it's earned its place as one of the all-time franchise greats.
At the end of season 2, smokescreen is the only one returning is a good character trait shown here. Everyone else follows optimus to his word, but since smokescreen is new, he did what he felt right rather than simply following orders
And I love the conversation him and bee had after all that and how bee gave him a hit of wisdom when smokescreen felt like he could of been so much more
@@diegosebastianhernandez3146 yeah. Normally Bee would be the one to go back. But Bee realised that Optimus was ready for sacrifice and respected it, which is not a bad thing. Bee and smokescreen are closest being brothers
Transformers Prime was my introduction to Transformers. While the movies and UA-cam Parodies exist, I didn’t get into the series fully until watching Transformers Prime episodes on Netflix.
i'm 23 and only just now getting into transformers (aside from the memes and youtube parodies that have irreversibly changed my vocabulary) thru prime and i honestly have no regrets. this shit is great.
Fun fact about this show: While Frank Welker does voice Megatron in Transformers Prime, his voice was vastly different compared to his G1 voice. The most interesting thing about his Prime voice, is that it’s actually modulated. You could find this out in some of Frank Welker’s interviews where he does all of his Megatron voices plus Galvatron, and his Prime Megatron voice is very different compared to how it was in the actual show. This is surprising for me as I actually assumed it wasn’t modulated and it just had a filter just like with his G1 voice. In fact, I assumed it wasn’t modulated that I keep impersonating Welker’s Prime Megatron voice naturally everytime I do the voice whenever I play a Transformers game, or watch another movie.
@@guywithrevolverif you wanna hear him without the modulator, look up the “questions for Megatron” commercials, they’re pretty funny and it’s pretty cool
You managed to put into words why I love this series so much. I also think TFP's version of Optimus is on of the best written iterations of Optimus Prime.
He's good but I don't like how for the greater half of the show's first season he seems pretty stale in terms of personality. Though the finale and Orion Pax centric episodes did wonders for his character, imo.
@@S1mply_Gr4y Optimus already gone trough the majority of his character arc before the series starts. I stand by my point, because Optimus in this series is wise, noble, compassionate, but not guillable. He struggles with loss, struggles with keeping his people together. Also is stoic, but he does show emotion if you pay attention, but he's not that obvious about it. Could he have been a bit more lighter? Sure, but in the context of the story (five Autobots are fighting for their lives against the whole Decepticon army) his behaviour makes sense.
"Big whup. I snuffed Hardshell!" I always liked Miko as a human character, but holy hell did this one line make me love her more than any other human in any other series.
Let me just that Transformers One is literally Transformers Prime 2.0 in Disguise. It takes heavily based ideas from the Aligned Continuity, Animated and G1 such as Desgins, Storyline, Characters and Etc. And oh my goodness the OST, Brian Tyler coming back for this movie is freaking nuts you can hear the TFP osts in it. As someone who very much attached to TFP this was just reliving the whole aligned continuity in a completely different way and i loved every moment of it. And very much gonna call out that the next instalment of TF one is gonna be based on War For Cybertron which i look forward to see.
Fax and yes it does, but tbh I don't thing Megatron backstory is as good in one as it is with him being a gladiator, but I absolutely love the idea of the quintisants
@@CorbinJay-i3j Honestly, that's what I think is lacking in TFP. A third-party enemy that isn't Cybertronian. Unicron barely counts, as he's basically just the opposite of Primus
@@CorbinJay-i3jI didn’t like how the primes died. Just stabbed in the back and killed by some punk. I’ve always preferred the idea that Megatronus betrayed the primes by being manipulated by Unicron and Leige Maximo.
@@CorbinJay-i3j Apparently, Megatron IS still a Gladiator in Transformers: One. They wanted to show that he spends his free-time out of the mines in underground fight clubs, but couldn't find anywhere to fit it into the film. I'm hoping that if we ever get a sequel, they'll elaborate on this.
9:34 And that’s what I love about Transformers Prime, it combined the best parts of G1 and the Bayverse and made them even better. Optimus Prime & Megatron in TFP were to me, what the Bayformers versions of them should’ve been. In fact, Optimus having enough of Megatron throughout Seasons 2 and 3 works better then him killing Megatron in Dark of the Moon. Because we’re shown that Optimus slowly realizes that Megatron’s not the same Decepticon he knew.
And I think Optimus overall gets more ruthless and brutal too over the seasons. Like in Bayverse. But at least we get it slowly shown instead of just dumping it in for cool cinematic moments
I love how Bay Prime trash talked. How he rips Grindor's face and says "Piece of tin" "Waste of metal" "We will kill them all", he gets quite emotional confronting Sentinel "Get back here Sentinel!". After killing Megatron "You left me no choice brother". Fighting Fallen "Die like your brothers!" "They were your brothers too!". While TFP Prime just says generic one liners "Begone Megatron" bro actually said that twice, "My simpathies lie with Autobots", and etc. You can't really relate to him.
@@panzernerd8486 and it makes more sense in the way Prime does it, because until then, Optimus is still trying to defeat Megatron and spare him, but he slowly realizes Megatron will never surrender. This also makes Megatron's redemption in the movie more impactful, because it shows that Optimus' hope in Megatron having a change of spark wasn't a pipe dream
Transformers Prime just had perfect designs for the transformers themselves imo. Like how can you look at Soundwave or Shockwave and say "Nah, these designs are mid" They turned Soundwave, the recon like decepticon, into a STEALTH DRONE! I mean of course a boombox would make no sense anymore, but who could have predicted stealth drone over something like a Northrop?
Bee's design was really cool. So was wheeljack and Smokescreens. Bulkhead being a big softy is cool. CLIFFJUMPER... I feel so bad for him as a character. His design was immaculate!
@@DarksideGmss0513 well yeah but have you ever seen slugterra? How about starwars rebels? Max Steel? All have similar styles. Even Clone Wars had a similar style. I actually like the style. It's different but not so different it's deterring.
Everything about transformers prime, from the actual show down to the name, aged perfectly. This is the only Transformers media that made Megatron my favorite character
It’s really speaks volumes how much of an impact the Lore of TF Prime has had on modern TF depictions. -Orion and D-16 becoming friends, turn Enemies -The idea of Cybertron being ruled by a corrupt government body & caste system -Having The Quintessons originally ruling Cybertron before it’s people overthrew them. -The concept of 13 Primes originally, with Alpha Trion being the 3rd one of the group. All of this, which has since been carried over in nearly every other TF project since.
Prime's Optimus is the best of both the G1 kind and a little naive and the freaking decepticon killer of the bayverse. This one have all to be a honorable leader, but also the firmness to fight to death the decepticons when its necessary
He’s easily the most wise Prime I’ve seen in any continuity. Anytime he was on screen you just felt like things were safe, that there was someone the characters could turn to to lead the way and make the right calls.

arcee had a diary that got updated after predacons rising And they never thought to just add a little line To say arcee was in contact with jack or going to see him now that the war is over and Cybertron is fine Episodes costed million to make each leading to season 3 being the way it is rushing to get an ending and predacon rising For we could have a conclusive ending But they just ruin it with a sequel so what's the point No she missed jack or SOMETHING?! They rejected tfp(transformers prime)season 4 To give up that so called 'sequel' of robots in disguise 2015 Butchered personalities By altering bumblebee into a tantrumming child Optimus into an old bumbling idiot just there to make others look good Retconning everything Established events Optimus sacrifice Number of things including neglecting relationships Like they don't exist And it also shows nothing of where everyone is now after only 3 YEARS. Afters primes ending as just a farewell to the humans left and movie predacon rising where Optimus sacrificed himself to being new life No jack and arcee reunion aka the best autobot human relationship And jack was supposed to have a cameo or a possible guest star appearance but got scrapped But if it happened it could have cleared up = Did jack and arcee remain in contact after she left earth Did they ever see each other again What is Jack doing in life did he become an agent or something else What does older jack look like and his life And no confirmation they did even not a reference to it or anything all this time And the only reference to the humans in the so called 'sequel' was in season 2 when bee is stuck in the shadow zone only because they humans are the only ones with experience with it In my mind it's not canon I don't care And the only good things that came out of it could have easily been done in a short season 4 of prime while being more child friendly like season 1 and 2 for hasbro wishes while maturing concepts for older audiences like in those seasons Hasbro botched it because they wanted less work for more and targeted a very very young Audience that will watch whatever comes out And they had good kid shows that were clearly targeted for small kids and it was still great! And they forcsd G1 style on many bots and some personalities of it And the last time we ever saw the best arcee ever was in a picture card wanted poster in a more G1 style body with big clunky blocks on her arms rather than her prime style Leading to the end of the aligned continuity forever And they also visited the old bases of prime and some of the bots in the team showed disrespect And it was all abandoned and had no references to the humans they were so close to Remind of me DMC devil may cry reboot mocking fans with the white wig if you know that series We need a rewrite that ingores that sequel and gives us a real one or just a little update fact that jack and arcee did reunite or in contact And jack had his cameo we could know if he's in contact or not and with that declare if he is or isn't in contact with arcee even if not directly mentioned Yes I'm still mad after 12 years season 4 They could have switched back and forth between Cybertron work and earth work everyone trying to figure out how to live separately (Could add if they were in contact or not at that moment)like allowing arcee and jack to help in contact furthering their bond connection for fact Eventually lead to a reunion and building new base on earth and Allowing them to live like they use to and without a war to fight or many dangers they could live together happily and see how they all changed since they last saw each other after a short time apart Like time from finale and predacon rising and little bit after something like Optimus sacrifice and keeping the peace and reuniting with the humans And clearing up loose ends on danger like what happened with arachnid and things missing clear bits and keeping order in peace allowing season to still have action but more peaceful giving new characters from either found or returned back to the world or new life created (Like have human like jack or something find a crashed ship and go investigate and call the autbots about it or something if finding ones or something or find by autobots or something) And could also allow the possible agent connection idea from the end of transformers prime finale Allowing jack having connections like Fowler used to Miko trained to handle chaotic things like experimental like she did with the apex armour Raph better with technology and experimenting and with his lessons from ratchet before like seen in the series past And going further in depths with relationships like jack and arcee living together outside of wars and battles and with how jack in the series is the only person she actively opened up to most in series in a way she rarely did with the other autobots Could allow her to lessen her warrior side that she was forced into during the war and with earth and cybertron connected they could be together and have happier times with everyone And if they wanted to keep the plot of robots in disguise with the world knowing about them they could do that and have the humans as heros with them honouring their work and having them have jobs with them and connections to earth and cybertron cooperation With cybertron rebuilt and better technology than they did on earth before everything would be easier and better and no war allows more joy and happy season to end You know something I further realised about transformers rid The ending of that series allows the humans to stay with the bots forever happily But jack ,Raph and miko Had to say goodbye forever and never got a reunion Like how is that FAIR and the fact prime didn't get the ending it was supposed to apparently that's confirmed Gives the idea that they were supposed to have the ending instead staying with their cybertrion family forever Like jack and arcee wouldn't have to say their goodbye scene and staying together But because of primes cancellation we never got it and they just threw it over to some new humans instead I hate it more now because of this The show ended way too fast without giving us closure and cuts out the humans in the movie entirely No guilt for saying goodbye Especially arcee after how sad her and jack were at the goodbye nothing?! What's jack doing where is he How is he Did they stay on contact did they see each other again or Anything?! And the fact that this wasn't supposed to be the ending even the writer wanted Means that jack and arcee weren't meant to say goodbye and they just had to give us these endings to settle it down Leaving happy ending for autobots But bittersweet sad ending for humans with no ending after said goodbye
Agreed; Transformers Prime is my favourite series too, and the one I go back to rewatch most often. Along with Animated, it feels like the series that's most created _by_ fans, _for_ fans. I think it had a really good balance between light and dark; sometimes it's light-hearted, humorous, and focused on the family dynamics between the characters, then it gets down into _brutal_ combat which really shows you the stakes, but never really gets _too_ violent for kids to enjoy. You have a really good cast of well-rounded characters - even most of the Decepticons don't feel like they're pure evil - with stellar voice-acting to boot. I love the use of Vehicons to give the Decepticons a nearly-inexhaustible fighting force which keeps the Autobots always playing against the odds... but again, they're not just mindless drones (I have this headcanon - which kinda played out a little in RiD15 and the comics - where they're lab-grown clones, many of whom hope to earn their own identity one day). And yeah, Optimus really harks back to that G1 iteration that we all love so much; a powerful fighter because he _has_ to be... but really he's the dad to a whole generation of 80s kids. I don't think I've heard him comment on it, but I imagine Peter Cullen appreciated this version a lot after the head-splitter Optimus of the movies...
The only thing Prime missed out on was a Starscream redemption story. They teased it but never followed up. They didn’t have to actually go all the way and redeem him, but I think they could have taken a note from Armada and really done something by with Starscream being rogue for a good portion of the show
And what happened between jack and arcee after goodbye did they stay in contact or not Movie gives nothing no mention No guilt nothing arcee had a diary that got updated after predacons rising And they never thought to just add a little line To say arcee was in contact with jack or going to see him now that the war is over and Cybertron is fine Episodes costed million to make each leading to season 3 being the way it is rushing to get an ending and predacon rising For we could have a conclusive ending But they just ruin it with a sequel so what's the point You know something I further realised about transformers rid The ending of that series allows the humans to stay with the bots forever happily But jack ,Raph and miko Had to say goodbye forever and never got a reunion Like how is that FAIR and the fact prime didn't get the ending it was supposed to apparently that's confirmed Gives the idea that they were supposed to have the ending instead staying with their cybertrion family forever Like jack and arcee wouldn't have to say their goodbye scene and staying together But because of primes cancellation we never got it and they just threw it over to some new humans instead I hate it more now because of this Its painful
It was literally peak Transformers! From animation style, to audio from voice actors, effects and music. To camera angles and usage that where genius, to amazing story and characters 😮 It really, had it all!😎
TFP Arcee is not only the best written character in the show, but is in fact the best written character in the entire franchise. She's absolutely incredible. There's so much development and depth packed into such a small package
Grew up with transformers prime, the feel was different from things now. The story was amazing felt like actual stakes, animation is smooth still holds up today can’t see any flaws, comedy and jokes are fun no matter how many times you rewatch. Still amazing even after 10+ years.

God, I remember watching Transformers Prime with my mum when it first aired. I was around 3 when season 1 was released, and it was what got me into the whole franchise. Even 15 years later, I still look back on it fondly.
6:33 Animated did understand how bad things could get. Did you see the flashbacks with Ratchet? He got PTSD and refused to talk about his experiences because he remembered how awful things were. That show was lighthearted a lot, but also balanced it very well it with the darker stuff.
This is coming from someone who was a casual fan of Transformers until TF Prime, even stayed up until 2 am to watch the new episode premier on UA-cam. This show solidified my love for TF media and Ratchet as my favorite character (further realized with the IDW comics). Season 1 of TFP was peak Transformers. Season two was good, had its moments of pretty contrived writing and character directions I didn’t really like and season 3, oof, you could tell they had no idea what they wanted to do with the show and it even hinted at the Dinobots vs Predacons but it never got realized due to the cancellation and all the plot lines were so rushed due to limited episodes. Still a good show, but definitely deserved better.
AS A 45 YEAR OLD G1 FAN, TRANSFORMERS PRIME REVITALIZED MY ADORATION FOR THE SERIES. THE BUMBLE BEE, THE NETFLIX SERIES, AND COMBINER WARS WERE OK, BUT THIS TF ONE MOVIE... WAS BANANAS. IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES. I HAD TO SEE IT AGAIN AFTER THE PRE SCREENING. THIS SERIES IS BACK, THANKS TO THE LOVE FROM THE FAN BASE!!!
18:19 I agree, Knockout and Starscream's interactions have always been funny. My favorite moment of theirs is the whole arc when Scream explains how he lost his arm in Season 1 Episode 15, and Knockout having no idea how it happened.
Then you had Chima hitting like a Mf after ninjago. Back to back Lego. Then you had Ben 10: Ultimate Alien come on and THEN Dragon's Rider's of Berk hit! Ngl 2000-2015 is PEAK Cartoon Network and cartoons in general.
Clones wars later at night before Adult swim and The Toonami in the REALLY late hours like 1AM-7AM or something it's been ages since I've watched Cable.
Ah, what a hit of nostalgia. Loved this show so much as a kid. And this was the only show where I genuinely wished we saw more of the humans and them spending more time with the Autobots. While it isn't as big of a deal now, back then it was TRULY GUTWRENCHING for me (I think I didn't watch TV for a good week). I really hope we get a reboot of this someday that keeps what made this show great, but expands upon it, so that we get more episodes, maybe a season or two to transition into the finale a bit more naturally. I mean we didn't address the incident of zombie Airachnid turning a Cybertronian moon into a Zombie insecticon nest, not to mention how quickly the Predacons (the season's namesake) went from being plot relevant to a filler goose chase. Season 3 just felt rushed/poorly paced and is the only thing holding it back from being THE timeless masterpiece of Transformers.
I have this crystal-clear memory of when I was about 8 years old and I saw the pilot for the very first time. There's two important things that made it as impactful as it was at the time: Our TV would sometimes glitch out and fail to display any kind of information about the programme you were watching, and my mom was very strict about age ratings. I also did not know what Transformers were yet, so this was my first introduction to the whole concept. I was watching Fox Kids on the TV, and a new show I handn't seen before came up. I remember struggling to identify whether it was animated or live-action, because the ground looked so realistic. I was deeply shocked by the fight scene and the on-screen death, and began to feel anxiety about watching something I was potentially not allowed to watch yet. I think I might've been home alone at the time, but that doesn't matter, it felt forbidden to watch something as violent as this mysterious show and it of course made me return to it. Sometime later I was unfortunate enough to grow older so that my school started earlier and I couldn't catch Transformers anymore, leaving me alone with the season 2 finale, and that shot of Optimus' arm sticking up from the rubble of the base. I spent ages under the impression that Optimus Prime was dead and it was hopeless, until in about 2015 or so Transformers Prime came on Netflix and I could finally finish the show. I'd been waiting for it for about two years, according to my diary. I rewatched the whole thing last summer and still cried like a baby at some of the events, like Bumblebee's death and the bombing of the Autobot base, as well as the ending of the movie. I'm now an adult and I've of course spent years encountering all kinds of extremely tense situations onscreen, but despite remembering the plot perfectly, I still found myself genuinely shaken by Optimus' amnesia at the end of season one and was at the edge of my seat the entire time. Silas and the entire MECH storyline is still quite horrific, the torture and body horror hold up well. The pilot episode is still a rough watch because of how shockingly brutal that beginning is. Bumblebee is still my favourite character from anything, ever, and Optimus was just as gentle as I remembered. Man, I just love Transformers Prime :)
ill never understand why theres so many people that just throw away this show as "poorly written" because it has some flaws, some of which werent in the writers control with issues of budget and the like. prime isnt perfect, obviously, but it has some of the most in-depth character writing for any transformers show. i can write essays on different characters and their motifs and what make them all so special, theyre what make the show truly feel alive. i think prime is my favorite piece of media in history, you can sense that the people behind it actually cared for the franchise
This show gives me nostalgia like no other. I get that there are plenty of other Transformer tv shows, but this one felt mature, the character arcs were interesting, the deaths were emotional and the soundtrack was a chef's kiss. I love how Megatron and Optimus felt like these two massive titans when compared to other bots and it made their presence enjoyable to watch.
Me and my friend just got into transformers this year, with me dragging them into it. We had a blast watching prime. “If you can still laugh at a joke, ten years later. Then you know it’s good” plus some of the animation holds up to animation for TV shows now.
YES! I consider this to be peak Transformers. I grew up with this series and loved every episode. It is more than just a kids show. The story is rather dark, the designs are amazing, and the fighting is quite violent. It is the perfect blend of every version of Transformers. This show has the balls to do things other shows are afraid to do. Rewatching it several times as an adult never fails to make me cry during certain moments. I have yet to encounter another Transformers series that has sparked the same joy as Prime. I'm convinced that Hasbro just hates TFP for some reason; they very rarely come back to it. If you look today they have only done a couple of Legacy toys and those are more so design upgrades. Call it a hot take, but Prime has the best character designs out of the entire franchise. I want to see current day toys of their proper designs, especially Megatron.
I liked sylis. He to me was just the reminder of why the transformers need to stay hidden a bit. But he didn't get fleshed out enough to me to actually feel like a character. I think seeing him interact with Shockwave would have been cool.
@@galaxy_kitten95 Transformers Prime Beasthunters: Predacons Rising was released in the US on October 4th, 2013. It has been 11 years since the last release within the Transformers Prime series marking the conclusion of this series (almost exactly 11 years down to the day.)
I watched the new movie today. You can tell that it was really made with love for transformers. My favorite moment is when Orion Pax becomes Optimus prime the music playing in the background is the same tune that played during Bumblebee's death in TFP
You touched on the family dynamic, and I think that was a massive pillar in becoming something the fans loved. Not just the Autobots, but the Decepticons as well. First episode not only set the tone of the show, but immediately gave us a Starscream that was ruthless, and wouldn't hesitate to take a life with his bare hands. Just about every other Decepticon was an actualized character with their own motivations. That's why we felt it when Breakdown was broken down, or when Dreadwing decided that his loyalty had to stop at the point of morality. It's a shame most animated shows are just cheeky one-liners and 'out-smarting' the bad guys, the best ones hold their characters up as people and allow us to explore more of our own world through that.
great vid ive been binging some transformers stuff in prep of Transformers One and started reminiscing on watching this sick transformers show at my grandma's house as a kid so i found the name of the show and you were the first vid i watched all of. you the goat bro
Anyone else have a crush on Arcee while watching this show as a kid? No? Just me? Anyway, Arcee was a badass in TFP. The human characters were great, Shockwave was great, Megaton was great. Everything about this series was amazing. It's my go-to Transformer show to rewatch besides Transformers Animated. My only complaint is I found the relic hunt in S2 to be repetitive. I also wish the show had more seasons
No, the bay moves were not scared of changing the status quo. TF Prime was scared of doing. and failing to live up to the expectations of the first 5 episode arc in terms of major changes. And by the time they did finally things it was season three. Which is bad for a show that is compared to Beast wars and Animated, two shows that actually changed their status quo quite a bit.
@@Starsaber97 what does that even mean? When tfp still did more with it's characters than the bayverse did overall in any of it's 5 films? Same being said for animated and beast wars?. This isn't about any status quo. The OP commenter was literally just saying this show is better than the movies which he isn't wrong about. Most TF shows period are better than those films
@@Kaiju-bm4ts the point that I was trying to make is that TFP was a show that refused to make big status quo changes. Because even when big events did occur there was no fallout of those events allowed to happen. For example, the whole Orion pax thing should have been a whole season event causing a massive change to the status quo. Which is a thing that all the bay movies did because there were always changes at the end of each movie and character development as well for certain characters. Which again TFP lacked in big time as the core cast did not change much vs Beast wars a show that had every character have character development and a major changes in the status quo of the show.
I loved how you had the parallels to Gen one where heroes and villains often set aside differences to work together against something bigger than them individually
Transformers Prime was peak. There hasn't been a single TF show in terms of animation and storytelling that can compare to it. And the bot designs were phenomenal. Megatron had never looked better. The boxiness of G1 inspired shows still feels naive to me.
About half way through, great video so far. The thing I like most about it is the fact that you're a fan of Transformers as a whole. Not someone who has vague nostalgic memories of G1, or someone who's only seen and only acknowledges the Bay movies. You're open to everything. I'm not a fan of the Bay-verse myself, but I'm fine with others enjoying it, especially if they give other TF media a fair shake. There's a lot of surprisingly good TF media these days, even Cyberverse, particularly Season 2 onwards. Earthspark's actually pretty good except for the "anvil over the head"-LGBTQ agenda. Which is fine except for the "anvil over the head"-aspect.
I just an hour ago finished my binge rewatch of the entire series. The S2, S3 and the movie I actually had not watched since they first aired and damn ......This show is still just as good as the days I watched them on release. TFP really shaped my mentals as a kid and to so vividly relive those feelings is really something I can't fully describe. Even from a fictional world I held no part in the characters filled me with so much hope and wonder. A hope I think we all really need right now.
God damnit! Why the hell have we spent over a decade NOT making more Transformers stuff Like TFP and the Cybertron games? Or just ... I don't know, ... uncancel TFP?!?! And I'm not talking about the crap-fest continuation that came after and we shall not name. That doesn't count! A( ・`д・´)

TFP is one of my single favorite TV shows. The plotlines, the characters, the goddamn MUSIC. Everything was firing on all cylinders. But for me, the character designs were the best feature, especially the Decepticons. Some took the templates and added some great new touches, Megatrons sharp esges and strong eyebrows were a great adition to his classic Buckethead silhouette. Then there were the ones that did something new altogether, Starscream and the Tron looking Soundwave being chief among them. The only one I don't love is Galvatron from Predacons Rising. It's an imposing silhouette, but the rusty Unicron textures didn't work on Megatron, the absence of the Fusion canon was noted. But my God, Optimus' final sacrifice. Tears in my eyes bro
my favorite part about prime is the willingness to be bold and create new designs. i love every single character design, especially airachnids, knockouts, and arcee.
TFP was actually my first and favorite Transformers show! i’m in the middle of season 2 rn, took a couple month break, might get back into it since watching Transformers One being a newer fan myself, i started with Bumblebee back in 2023 i think, then started jumping around the animated shows, Prime and Earthspark are my favorites 😊 ngl i couldn’t get into Animated, Cyberverse, or RID (2015)
What always irked me about this show were 2 big things. 1st: The 3rd season was filled with missed opportunities and insanely rushed because Hasbro was pulling the plug for reasons? Idk maybe the animation got too expensive lol. 2nd: Every good thing that happened for the Autobots was almost immediately undone within the same episode or the very next episode, it was awful in season 2. Bumblebee's T-Cog stolen, they get the Forge, Megatron immediately shows up and shoots Bulkhead in the back. (How did he instantly know when to jump in? Was lazerbeak watching?). Smokescreen knocks Starscream out of his armor, Starscream immediately shoots the large chunk of red energon below OP, Bumblebee and Arcee. (You have THREE Autobots there! HOW can you not just hold one down and grab it!?). Optimus obtains the Star Saber, immediately destroyed the very next episode. Autobots open the Omega Lock, cons show up with captured humans. (The single biggest mission of the entire war and you allow the cons to capture your weakest allies? Gross tactical error).
When I watched Dark of the Moon, one thing I noticed is the Autobot presence felt lacking. They were in the movie, sure, but they almost felt forgotten at times. Throughout the first three movies, the war almost seemed to be between the Decepticons and humans, Optimus and the Autobots were just there to kill the Decepticons when the humans were getting screwed. When Optimus flew in to fight the Driller, I realised I almost forgot he even existed and I didn't realise he got his flight tech trailer back Transformers Prime balances the humans and Autobots in a way that makes the Autobots the central protagonists while not forgetting about the humans and giving them important roles in the show.
14:33 I'm convinced "humans sending autobots off into space" was a plot for G1 episode first (maybe it was a two episodes story even). This episode gave us decepticons on dancefloor scene, if anyone remembers
arcee had a diary that got updated after predacons rising And they never thought to just add a little line To say arcee was in contact with jack or going to see him now that the war is over and Cybertron is fine Episodes costed million to make each leading to season 3 being the way it is rushing to get an ending and predacon rising For we could have a conclusive ending But they just ruin it with a sequel so what's the point No missing jack or SOMETHING?! Honestly I prefer that transformers prime continued with more seasons and more new characters that we all know and are familiar with like the dinobots combiners and more autobots and decepticons
21:26 Eh, you're partially right. After Optimus put Unicron's spark in stasis, there came the War of the Primes, which led to the deaths of Solus Prime(who's body became the Well of Allsparks) and Leige Maximo(who is the Loki of Transformers so it's obvious why he was killed), and led to Megatronus Prime renaming himself the Fallen and leaving Cybertron. The rest of the Primes decided to "leave center stage" and Optimus chose to be reborn as an ordinary bot, only to be reawakened with the Matrix of Leadership under the most extreme of conditions. And Transformers Prime is my all-time favorite Transformers series! I may have been introduced to the series through the Bayverse movies, but Prime became my favorite!
It also really helps that TF:ONE commissions the same composer as TFP and the Prime theme was made to great use in that film. The beginning chorus in the track "Resting Place of the Primes" and in 1:46 of the track "The Fall" in particular.
Even though this is a prime video, I feel the need to defend rescue bots for some odd reason. I love that show. I still get enjoyment from the dynamics, plot beats, and general shenanigans. It's not as cut throat or intense at times because it's made for kindergartens, but some of the episodes have me genuinely on the edge of my seat. I dont know why hasbro didn't explore any other things with the rescue bot organization, because how cool is that?! There was a whole search and rescue, police, EMT, ambulance, fire department before the war and we never get to find out why "they're not supposed to exist"?! Except for Blurr's little cameo in RID 2015, we never hear from the rescue bots again. Their story isn't done, and I just want to see more
Transformers: Prime was the best ever. I always appreciated how the characters had a chance to develop, to grow over the course of the whole series. Plus, that soundtrack is unreal. And we are all about a librarian Optimus Prime.
primes redesign of arcee is better than the original, i dont say that to hate on the original, without it we wouldint have any version of arcee. i wish theyd bring back the design.
Really loved how they really strayed away with some of the designs and still made them work like arcee and sound wave. Also the human cast were pretty nice compared to some others

Peter Cullen once said that his delivery of Optimus was meant to show the character was "strong enough to be gentle", TF Prime Optimus perfectly embodies this
I dont feel like this really allowed optimus to show any actual character and instead made him super serious and flat

@@benjackson6260 I agree. And I wish ravage was in the show too. It'd be pretty cool to see how that would work.
The shockwave design looks so cool and he just looks like he simply does not feel
He kinda does... I think this version of Shockwave is more _stoic_ than actually _emotionless._ For the most part, I think he puts a hard lid on his feelings, and tries to put logic front and centre, despite some occasional annoyance (I love the scene where he's about stab Starscream's eye out in revenge, then when Screamer jabbers out his excuse, Shockwave pauses, then relents, "I find your reasoning... logical.")
Though we certainly see fear in the finale... 😜
@@Brickerbrack wasn’t that from transformers prime or was it transformers one?
@@theleaderturtle Oh yeah, you should definitely see it. Steve Blum reprises his role as Starscream in that show.

@@minomorales2996 You can watch the complete series on the Transformers official channel on UA-cam, plus mine's Region 2.
I’d easily put Tom Kenny’s Animated Starscream above him.
I felt that Prime’s Starscream was almost too cowardly at times.
Armada still my favorite version his character development and how his story ends in that show it amazing
Best for the shows, yes. IDW Starscream wins overall for sure. Got the entire planet to elect him ruler.
Wym 1 dimensional? Armada Starscream wipes unfortunately. One of the best Transformer development arcs to come. Earthspark Starscream is also kind of good too.
"Remember when TV shows used to have more than 8 episodes a season?"
Oof! Really chose a hard-hitting question to start off.
I could go on for hours and hours about how well it portrays the complex relationship between Optimus and Megatron, the way this is one of the best Optimus depictions we've ever gotten, how great all the worldbuilding is for both Cybertron and Earth, and a million other things, but I'd inevitably just end up repeating all of Emperor Kumquat's videos (watch them)
Special mention goes to the all-star voice cast, who give 110% on every episode.
Best series EVER.. especially when optimus went 2.0 mode.
70th like. Sorry! 😅

In fact, I assumed it wasn’t modulated that I keep impersonating Welker’s Prime Megatron voice naturally everytime I do the voice whenever I play a Transformers game, or watch another movie.
do you have a clip of him saying this without the voice modulation?
as a matter of fact, I do. ua-cam.com/video/CnIG0vUWP78/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Amen
"Big whup. I snuffed Hardshell!"
I always liked Miko as a human character, but holy hell did this one line make me love her more than any other human in any other series.
Damn bro, you started your channel when I was born you must be an OG on UA-cam
Ew u like miko
YES! Finally, someone else who shares my love of Miko. I thought I was all alone.
MECH actually kinda grew on me. Sylas becoming a “Decepticon” was cool, and even better that Megatron actually didn’t like him
Let me just that Transformers One is literally Transformers Prime 2.0 in Disguise.
@@CorbinJay-i3j
Honestly, that's what I think is lacking in TFP. A third-party enemy that isn't Cybertronian. Unicron barely counts, as he's basically just the opposite of Primus
Dude I knew it. When they discover the bodies of the primes the melodies are so similar.
One of the thing that elevates TFP the most for me, which is not often mentioned is the theme and the score. It is just so good.
Same thoughts there! My favorite was season 3.. I thank that's the right one? It's hard to remember but when the predacons became a thing.
That soundtrack is so good
Transformers Prime just had perfect designs for the transformers themselves imo. Like how can you look at Soundwave or Shockwave and say "Nah, these designs are mid"
They turned Soundwave, the recon like decepticon, into a STEALTH DRONE!
The human designs were a little off putting to me.
@DarksideGmss0513 eh yeah, same here, but I can look past that since prime gave us (imo) the best Shockwave and Soundwave designs
-Orion and D-16 becoming friends, turn Enemies
-The idea of Cybertron being ruled by a corrupt government body & caste system
-Having The Quintessons originally ruling Cybertron before it’s people overthrew them.
-The concept of 13 Primes originally, with Alpha Trion being the 3rd one of the group.
All of this, which has since been carried over in nearly every other TF project since.
S lot of that was in IDW in 05
Actually, the Quintesson thing was from G1.
Prime's Optimus is the best of both the G1 kind and a little naive and the freaking decepticon killer of the bayverse. This one have all to be a honorable leader, but also the firmness to fight to death the decepticons when its necessary
Transformers PRIME was my childhood. Those are the transformers that I grew up with and specifically remember.
You could say it’s the best of both worlds.
He’s easily the most wise Prime I’ve seen in any continuity. Anytime he was on screen you just felt like things were safe, that there was someone the characters could turn to to lead the way and make the right calls.

arcee had a diary that got updated after predacons rising
And they never thought to just add a little line
To say arcee was in contact with jack or going to see him now that the war is over and Cybertron is fine
Episodes costed million to make each leading to season 3 being the way it is rushing to get an ending and predacon rising
For we could have a conclusive ending
But they just ruin it with a sequel so what's the point
No she missed jack or SOMETHING?!
They rejected tfp(transformers prime)season 4
To give up that so called 'sequel' of robots in disguise 2015
Butchered personalities
By altering bumblebee into a tantrumming child
Optimus into an old bumbling idiot just there to make others look good
Retconning everything
Established events
Optimus sacrifice
Number of things including neglecting relationships
Like they don't exist
And it also shows nothing of where everyone is now after only 3 YEARS. Afters primes ending as just a farewell to the humans left and movie predacon rising where Optimus sacrificed himself to being new life
No jack and arcee reunion aka the best autobot human relationship
And jack was supposed to have a cameo or a possible guest star appearance but got scrapped
But if it happened it could have cleared up =
Did jack and arcee remain in contact after she left earth
Did they ever see each other again
What is Jack doing in life did he become an agent or something else
What does older jack look like and his life
And no confirmation they did even not a reference to it or anything all this time
And the only reference to the humans in the so called 'sequel' was in season 2 when bee is stuck in the shadow zone only because they humans are the only ones with experience with it
In my mind it's not canon I don't care
And the only good things that came out of it could have easily been done in a short season 4 of prime while being more child friendly like season 1 and 2 for hasbro wishes while maturing concepts for older audiences like in those seasons
Hasbro botched it because they wanted less work for more and targeted a very very young Audience that will watch whatever comes out
And they had good kid shows that were clearly targeted for small kids and it was still great!
And they forcsd G1 style on many bots and some personalities of it
And the last time we ever saw the best arcee ever was in a picture card wanted poster in a more G1 style body with big clunky blocks on her arms rather than her prime style
Leading to the end of the aligned continuity forever
And they also visited the old bases of prime and some of the bots in the team showed disrespect
And it was all abandoned and had no references to the humans they were so close to
Remind of me DMC devil may cry reboot mocking fans with the white wig if you know that series
We need a rewrite that ingores that sequel and gives us a real one or just a little update fact that jack and arcee did reunite or in contact
And jack had his cameo we could know if he's in contact or not and with that declare if he is or isn't in contact with arcee even if not directly mentioned
Yes I'm still mad after 12 years
season 4
They could have switched back and forth between Cybertron work and earth work everyone trying to figure out how to live separately
(Could add if they were in contact or not at that moment)like allowing arcee and jack to help in contact furthering their bond connection for fact
Eventually lead to a reunion and building new base on earth and Allowing them to live like they use to and without a war to fight or many dangers they could live together happily and see how they all changed since they last saw each other after a short time apart
Like time from finale and predacon rising and little bit after something like Optimus sacrifice and keeping the peace and reuniting with the humans
And clearing up loose ends on danger like what happened with arachnid and things missing clear bits and keeping order in peace allowing season to still have action but more peaceful
giving new characters from either found or returned back to the world or new life created
(Like have human like jack or something find a crashed ship and go investigate and call the autbots about it or something if finding ones or something or find by autobots or something)
And could also allow the possible agent connection idea from the end of transformers prime finale
Allowing jack having connections like Fowler used to
Miko trained to handle chaotic things like experimental like she did with the apex armour
Raph better with technology and experimenting and with his lessons from ratchet before like seen in the series past
And going further in depths with relationships like jack and arcee living together outside of wars and battles and with how jack in the series is the only person she actively opened up to most in series in a way she rarely did with the other autobots
Could allow her to lessen her warrior side that she was forced into during the war and with earth and cybertron connected they could be together and have happier times with everyone
And if they wanted to keep the plot of robots in disguise with the world knowing about them they could do that and have the humans as heros with them honouring their work and having them have jobs with them and connections to earth and cybertron cooperation
With cybertron rebuilt and better technology than they did on earth before everything would be easier and better and no war allows more joy and happy season to end
You know something I further realised about transformers rid
The ending of that series allows the humans to stay with the bots forever happily
But jack ,Raph and miko Had to say goodbye forever and never got a reunion
Like how is that FAIR and the fact prime didn't get the ending it was supposed to apparently that's confirmed
Gives the idea that they were supposed to have the ending instead staying with their cybertrion family forever
Like jack and arcee wouldn't have to say their goodbye scene and staying together
But because of primes cancellation we never got it and they just threw it over to some new humans instead
I hate it more now because of this
The show ended way too fast without giving us closure and cuts out the humans in the movie entirely
No guilt for saying goodbye
Especially arcee after how sad her and jack were at the goodbye
nothing?!
What's jack doing where is he
How is he
Did they stay on contact did they see each other again or Anything?!
And the fact that this wasn't supposed to be the ending even the writer wanted
Means that jack and arcee weren't meant to say goodbye and they just had to give us these endings to settle it down
Leaving happy ending for autobots
But bittersweet sad ending for humans with no ending after said goodbye
Dude how did you do this whole video without mentioning how amazing and badass Prime’s soundwave interpretation was!?
Soundwave superior, Autobots inferior.
They didn’t have to actually go all the way and redeem him, but I think they could have taken a note from Armada and really done something by with Starscream being rogue for a good portion of the show
also the insecticon storyline with arachnid
@@toastytoast9800yeah but that was cut because the show was being canceled.

God, I remember watching Transformers Prime with my mum when it first aired. I was around 3 when season 1 was released, and it was what got me into the whole franchise. Even 15 years later, I still look back on it fondly.
Lmao starting the trend of executing Cliffjumper in every series
Cliffjumper: "Oh, alive again. I hope i w..."
Entire desepticon army: "Hello there!"
prime's Arcee design was and still is my favourite design. She was a perfect design
6:33 Animated did understand how bad things could get. Did you see the flashbacks with Ratchet? He got PTSD and refused to talk about his experiences because he remembered how awful things were. That show was lighthearted a lot, but also balanced it very well it with the darker stuff.
Learning that Cliff-jumper was played by the rock now makes me fine with his death in the Prime Universe.
Especially after knowing his wierd contract of not loosing a fight
@ That and he’s just a prick.
funny thing is that every time Bay was asked to direct each transformers movie, he said no, then came back and said yes after being asked again
I still remember watching the scene where Starscream kills Cliffjumper in gory detail for the first time. You just knew this show is going to be peak.
Since its been years since prime was on tv, finally rewatching it again felt amazing and brought me back to my childhood again
That awesome theme song still lives rent-free in my head :)
18:19 I agree, Knockout and Starscream's interactions have always been funny. My favorite moment of theirs is the whole arc when Scream explains how he lost his arm in Season 1 Episode 15, and Knockout having no idea how it happened.

Clones wars later at night before Adult swim and The Toonami in the REALLY late hours like 1AM-7AM or something it's been ages since I've watched Cable.
Don’t forget Tron Uprising and Motorcity 💯
29:55 the original ending was actually leaked so bay had to change it, he didn’t initially want that ending
He didn't *have* to make the movie worse just because the ending was leaked.
the single best transformers based content we've ever gotten. i wish we had some continuation of this today.
ill never understand why theres so many people that just throw away this show as "poorly written" because it has some flaws, some of which werent in the writers control with issues of budget and the like. prime isnt perfect, obviously, but it has some of the most in-depth character writing for any transformers show. i can write essays on different characters and their motifs and what make them all so special, theyre what make the show truly feel alive. i think prime is my favorite piece of media in history, you can sense that the people behind it actually cared for the franchise
The quality of the video vs the no. of subscribers you have is truly astounding. Amazing video. Hope you have a great youtube career
Transformers Prime in nutshel:
- One of the best Transformers series
- Looks briliant after 11 years
- Intresting character and personality design
Glad to see there are people out there who love this series as much as I do. 🥰 I used to watch this show on repeat
Transformers Prime is one of the greatest Transformers shows ever made🔥💯
I liked sylis. He to me was just the reminder of why the transformers need to stay hidden a bit. But he didn't get fleshed out enough to me to actually feel like a character. I think seeing him interact with Shockwave would have been cool.
11 years?????? TF:P is in my soul, man. That's insane.
Not quite sure this guy did proper research.
TFP was actually 14 years ago. Not 11..
@@galaxy_kitten95 oh good lord
@@galaxy_kitten95 Transformers Prime Beasthunters: Predacons Rising was released in the US on October 4th, 2013.
It has been 11 years since the last release within the Transformers Prime series marking the conclusion of this series (almost exactly 11 years down to the day.)
I watched the new movie today. You can tell that it was really made with love for transformers. My favorite moment is when Orion Pax becomes Optimus prime the music playing in the background is the same tune that played during Bumblebee's death in TFP
18:17 how about bee's "Knockout! We needed that!"
Arcee is my favourite character 😍
@@Mi-Jung_Kim-tq2bl same here!
Me too haha
@@illers1127 glad I'm not the only one haha
Crazy how this kids show was ten times better Transformers than Michael Bay’s million dollar budget films series that were released at the same time
No, the bay moves were not scared of changing the status quo.
@@Starsaber97TFP is far better then the movies
I swear y'all get this opinion off of UA-cam vids
23:25 “Ralph”? I think you meant to say Raf (short for Rafael)
God damnit! Why the hell have we spent over a decade NOT making more Transformers stuff Like TFP and the Cybertron games? Or just ... I don't know, ... uncancel TFP?!?! And I'm not talking about the crap-fest continuation that came after and we shall not name. That doesn't count! A( ・`д・´)
Your talking bout rid 2015 right?...
RIGHT?
Robots in disguise 2015?
You know something I further realised about transformers rid
The ending of that series allows the humans to stay with the bots forever happily
But jack ,Raph and miko Had to say goodbye forever and never got a reunion
Like how is that FAIR and the fact prime didn't get the ending it was supposed to apparently that's confirmed
Gives the idea that they were supposed to have the ending instead staying with their cybertrion family forever
Like jack and arcee wouldn't have to say their goodbye scene and staying together
But because of primes cancellation we never got it and they just threw it over to some new humans instead
I hate it more now because of this
arcee had a diary that got updated after predacons rising
And they never thought to just add a little line
To say arcee was in contact with jack or going to see him now that the war is over and Cybertron is fine
Episodes costed million to make each leading to season 3 being the way it is rushing to get an ending and predacon rising
For we could have a conclusive ending
But they just ruin it with a sequel so what's the point
Also one of the writers say that he thought jack got with miko after series
Fun fact In arcee's diary
She says that she believes if she was human she'd be like Miko just less crazy and loud
So if jack did get with miko it confirms jack x arcee canon in that case
They had chemistry and there were some indendoes about it but kids show so never made it fact but left it there if they liked it or not
This show is great and I am so glad that this was my introduction to the franchise to a whole.

Luv this mate , I’m a Tfp and Star Wars CW fan aswell
TFP was actually my first and favorite Transformers show! i’m in the middle of season 2 rn, took a couple month break, might get back into it since watching Transformers One
being a newer fan myself, i started with Bumblebee back in 2023 i think, then started jumping around the animated shows, Prime and Earthspark are my favorites 😊 ngl i couldn’t get into Animated, Cyberverse, or RID (2015)
"Bumblebee.... I NEEDED THAT"
favourite part of the series
Jeffrey Combs as Ratchet was perfect. It fits perfectly as he played a doctor who fights zombies in Reanimator (taken he did create them here)
I still watch Transformers Prime on a daily basis when i have my meals, we need more seasons please.
all imma say is PEAK
When Optimus flew in to fight the Driller, I realised I almost forgot he even existed and I didn't realise he got his flight tech trailer back
Transformers Prime balances the humans and Autobots in a way that makes the Autobots the central protagonists while not forgetting about the humans and giving them important roles in the show.
14:33 I'm convinced "humans sending autobots off into space" was a plot for G1 episode first (maybe it was a two episodes story even). This episode gave us decepticons on dancefloor scene, if anyone remembers
Arcee is my favourite character

This show was so peak growing up 😪
I was literally so obessed with transformers as a littke kid TFP was SUCH a cherry ontop 😫 i rewatched it in Middle School and I was so soso in love
I kepted up with all the shows and went as far as to watch the animes and stuff and go crazy over the more than meets the eyes comics UGH so great
27:02 are we not gonna talk about how well animated megatron was here?
I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who was practically bawling before Optimus even died in TFP Beast Hunters Predacon Rising
one of my best childhood shows, feels like a fever dream bacc when i was yung watching this sleeper series on da hub channel
Honestly I prefer that transformers prime continued with more seasons and more new characters that we all know and are familiar with like the dinobots combiners and more autobots and decepticons
As someone who gree up with prime series the other animated series or movies will never fill its place
I wish it just kept playing
