Thank you Heather! When I first saw the box cutter I thought of printing my own paper with photographs of loved ones or celebrities to make more personalized gift boxes. Your idea of the stacking multi-sizes reminded me of Harry & David's Tower of Treats and how nice some fancy mixed nuts would fit in that bottom box and a grouping of 4 truffles would go nicely in that top box! Christmas is taken care of and it's only August! :-)

Thank you for the tips about the paper is what the height is based on and the vert/horiz lines control the box base size. I was so frustrated trying to figure and odd size out and with your help, I was able to do it right away. Yay!!! TY TY TY

Thanks so much! This is the exact size I need the most, and I was bummed that it wasn't on the board...how clever! TFS! xo

Loved your tutorial on making the box, I didn't know about making 1/2 sizes, plus you explained it very well. Thanks.🔰🔰

    Hi Heather
thanks for the variations as sometimes you feel stuck with single shape. Hope you could think of a variation for using the same punch and making a hinged box and Lid box

Heather thank you so much for explaining the dimensions to me. I understood what you were saying in the video, but didn't understand how you got there. Now I know. Thanks again.

The notch isn’t strong enough to hold most boxes closed! Is there an alternative closure?

Heather I love the idea that you can change the dimensions of the box, but how did you figure out that your card size needed to be smaller for a larger bottom? And how did you know what size paper you needed? Did you just do a lot of sample to find what worked for you?

SusieQ943, I just played around with the punch board and tried different things. However, the card size doesn't control the size of the box. The card size changes the height of the box. For example, if you use the instructions for a box that is 4 x 4 x 1.75 inches, but you use a smaller size card stock, you will end up with a box that is 4 x 4 on the bottom but less than 1.75 inches tall. If you used bigger paper, you would get a taller box. To change the size of the base of the box, you change the "start line" you use. If you use a start line that is between the L and XL lines, you will get a box that is between those two sizes. I hope that helps to clarify things.

I hate the way these boxes close! Mine always tear! Most of the boxes that it makes are ugly!
