I agree, all this old info is just as good as what you put out each year. Look looking back at these older projects, they really help me out. Thanks Jennifer!! Love your channel.🥰
Jennifer I know you did this a while ago, but I so much appreciate this simple tutorial. I'm gifting my mom some homemade stationary sets and I wanted something to put them in. 😊
I almost didn't watch cause it was making boxes. I did cause it's the first I have seen using the punch board. I HAVE one and tried using it,it was a nightmare!! Wasted 12 x 12 cardstock trying to figure it out.. Watching you. You Made it look so easy. I'm going to try it again and make the small box. Saved this to recall it too. Thanks for sharing..
Thank you Jennifer! I just finished my first pop up box card and I wanted an envelope for it that wouldn't flatten it. I used your lesson but added 1/2" instead of 1" and it works perfectly! Thank you again. Your video was so easy to follow.
Well once again... I'm late in the game...lol...i actually just bought the envelope punch board last week to make envelopes...and now watching this video... I LOVE the idea... Definitely going to make a few of these boxes....thank you Jennifer for all your ideas!!!... Joleen from Florida
Thank you so much for a box that will actually fit an A2 card. Many other videos say it will fit the A2 cards but it does not fit the envelopes. I wasted lots of paper trying those but yours really worked!!!! THANKS!!!!
What a great idea. I knew I could do this with my Cricut but this is so much simpler and a way to use a tool for something other than its intended purpose
Thank you so much for this video. I was following another video and it was not working. I followed you and quickly had my box made. Thank you for all you do.
WOW Jennifer what an awesome and clever idea. I am excited about this as I do have this Envelope Punch board. I have made my little notes to attach to the bottom of the board. Thanks for an awesome video with the great tutorial. Girl you sure are so creative and talented. I can't wait to make these. YOU ROCK!!! Joan Smith
Hi Jennifer, I am a subscriber to your really lovely u tube crafty tutorial I have just been watching your envelope punch board crafty tutorial u posted on u tube on February 16th 2014 I would just like to say Thank You so much for taking the time to share a very helpful tutorial ❣️ Lin
Oh this is SO helpful! I just bought a We R MemoryKeepers Envelope score board and a We R MemoryKeepers stamping tool, like a Mini Misti. Both are so amazing and useful and I love how you did this. Very clever
Awesome awesome awesome, I made the 4 bar size one but when I followed the actual flat envelope, the size was off, after wasting so much paper I did a 3 inch score line instead of 3 1/8 and it was perfect for the 2nd notecard box!
I made this box last year for some tags and wanted to make a few again this year. I'm going to try your tutorial instead this year. Thanks so much for this!
Just fabulous thank you, lol my first attempt turned into an envelope, bit of a struggle as i am nearly legally blind and of course i am left handed so it was difficult doing the scoring lol but tomorrow i try again
Hello, I'm so glad I found your video because I couldn't understand why my notches were not coming out even. But once you explained we only need the first measurement and score line to follow.....the light bulb went off! lol..I'm new to this and was getting frustrated. You explain thing well..Thanks
Thanks so much for your easy to follow videos. I needed a thinner box envelope that was only 3/8″ thick for A2 cards. I started with your instructions and figured out the math. The final solution is start with a piece of paper that is 8.5″ x 8.5″. The first punch and score line is at 4.5″ and the second punch and score line is at 5″. Works great!
Hello, Jennifer wow! I was thinking of asking you for your opinion on it. I just bought the one to make the envelopes, bows and boxes. It's a good tool. I tried to use thin paper for a bow and didn't cut. I think I'll skip to make bows for now. Thanks
HI Jennifer, I really love your video. I'm interested how you get the measurements of the box that you planning to do?. I try to follow your video on the EP board and match your envelop box, couldn't find the measurement on the EP board. I continually do bigger cards 6 X 8 or more, so I like to know how I can find the correct measurements to follow your directions. Thank you so much for your instructions it seems it will be very easy after I learn how to find the correct measurements.
Hi Jennifer, was wondering if you could do another video showing how you determined the measurements you used. The board has it for a single card but I have trouble figuring the measurements for larger gussets. Thx and hugs
thank you so much for your tutorial it was so easy to make the only problem i have is my envelopes dont fit and i cant work out how to make it a little wider so they do. Any suggestions?
Love the idea of using the punch board, but how do I know know the size of paper to start with if my card is an odd size? I may not have an a2. What if it is 3 x 3? What size of cs do I start with?
Genius! I create cards at all different sizes. And coming from England I use different standard sizes. Do you have a guide on how to make the measurements please?
I had to laugh. This is the third time I be heard you say “I ignored instructions” You’re such a rebel. Thanks you for this tutorial! You’re wonderful.
This is super cute. If I wanted to make the box 1/4" thick instead of your example of 3/4" thick, what would my new measurements be? I have gone through a lot of paper and I still can't get it right :-(
Love this video, have this punch board, but haven't used it yet. Great video. Do you have a video on making envelopes with this punch board? I searched your videos and didn't find one. If not, would like to suggest you make one of these too. THANKS! Am planning on making cards, envelopes and card box as Christmas gifts this year.
Great video once again. I have a question for where to place the first corner of paper, do I place it before the white notch, in the middle of the white notch or after the white notch? Hope you understand what I'm trying to say. TFS.
What a nice tutorial. I got a weird question. I have made the a2 boxes with the crafters companion pretty much with the same results. What I would love to do is use a spell binders label die and cut out a window on the back and put acetate so you can see your cards. I like to take photos and make note cards. Problem is its 9x9. So i experimented and wasn't exactly successful. I folded one of the side panels over. I can get the piece cut no problem but what ever I try the folded piece gets embossed. Im not an experienced die cutter and wondered if there is a trick to shim or protect the piece I have fold over. I have 3 machines and used the biggest one grand caliber which still wont hold 9x9 paper. The other 2 I have is cuttlebug and sizzix. If I was able to attach a photo if my explanation isn't clear as mud I would. I do have the envelope board and this seems to be easier then the crafter companion. Thank you for the great tutorials and the inspirations.
Thank you! Do you have a formula for figuring out the size of paper to use. I make a lot of 5 x 7 cards. How would I figure out what size paper to start with & what score line measurement?
This great! I just purchased the we are memory keeper to make envelopes….this is an added bonus! Quick question, what weight paper would you recommend to make these?
I love this video but I have a question about making envelopes using the same punch board to coordinate with the box/cards. The store bought envelopes for A2 size fit perfectly into this box but when I tried using the punch board following the instructions for A2 envelope they turn out beautiful BUT do not fit into this box-a bit too large. After trying and failing multiple times to adjust the starting size paper and score lines I was able to get it to an A2 size using the punch board that fits into the box but it was a major pain. Has anyone else experienced this problem or is it just me? If so can you tell me how you resolved this, I’m sure the way I did it was way more complicated than it needed to be! Thanks!!
Hi Jenny I have made the A2 card Box that you demonstrated but the A2 envelope is to big for the box can you tell me what I am doing wrong please Angela
I had the same issue with the 4 bar Box...I followed dimensions for envelope and it was to tall. I changed the score line to 3 inches instead of 3 1/8, it came out perfect!
Jennifer, I'm not really understanding the measurements for making box envelopes. The 123 WRMK board instruction book makes it sound like we're to use the exact same measurements for dimensional envelopes that we use for regular envelopes. Is that correct? Otherwise I don't understand how to figure the dimensions out. Please advise...and thank you for your time:)
Watching in 2024! I'll be using this info for my project this week. Thanks for keeping your older content accessible! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

What a great idea putting a small pen in with the cards. Then wrap it up with a ribbon - nice for gifts. Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you Jennifer! I just finished my first pop up box card and I wanted an envelope for it that wouldn't flatten it. I used your lesson but added 1/2" instead of 1" and it works perfectly! Thank you again. Your video was so easy to follow.

Thanks for sharing the 4 bar sized envelope. I love that it can be made from an 8.5 x 11 pieces of paper.
What a great idea. I knew I could do this with my Cricut but this is so much simpler and a way to use a tool for something other than its intended purpose
Very well done Jennifer! Easy to follow you, which isn't always true of instruction videos.
I love the idea you used for the attached ribbon -very clever
Hi Jennifer,
Thank you so much for your very easy to follow video, you are a wonderful teacher.
Thank you. You make this look so easy. I have tried to do this over and over and couldn’t get it.

I was looking for a box video.... Thanks for sharing.

lovely card box Jennifer was wondering if you weren't going to use the punch board would it be the same size

YOU ARE A GENIUS! : ) just purchased one of these always good when you can do more with your tools! Thanks xx
I was about to say exactly the same thing when I found this comment. I LOVE when you show us the way how to get beyond with some tools and materials.
Thank you. Made one a long time ago and had forgotten how. How would you go about to make one for slim cards?
I'm all for getting more out of my envelope punch board. Thanks for the video.
Very nice video I’ll have to try this. How did you come up with the measurements. I would love to make a medium size box.
Jennifer you are a genius!!! This is exactly what I wanted to make to package my homemade soaps. I love the ribbon closure as well :) Brava!
Love the idea of using the punch board, but how do I know know the size of paper to start with if my card is an odd size? I may not have an a2. What if it is 3 x 3? What size of cs do I start with?
Fantastic tutorial, how many A2 cards with envelopes fit in that kind of box?
Love the video 😊 thank you for your crafty info.🌷
Genius! I create cards at all different sizes. And coming from England I use different standard sizes. Do you have a guide on how to make the measurements please?
Jennifer, that’s so awesome and I really enjoyed your tutorial. Thank you so much 😊
thank you. What Measurements would I use for a 5x7 card?
you explained this so simple and thank you giving us a close up view also
thank you for your concern for your viewers
Love this idea. Thank you so much!
can you make a box for 6x6 cards?
Thank you, again! I can’t seem to remember exactly how to do these. So I appreciate your instructions so clear and helpful!!
How many cards can you fit in the a2 box?
Awesome. I have several birthdays coming up so I better get busy.
Glad I found yer video, again! Needed to make some for gifting card.
I had to laugh. This is the third time I be heard you say “I ignored instructions” You’re such a rebel. Thanks you for this tutorial! You’re wonderful.
How can we make this deeper (thicker) for more cards? I want to send a friend a dozen cards with envelopes. Thank you Jennifer, I love your work!
Kathy West 10x10 sheet of paper and scored at 3 1/2 and 5. It is about an inch wide and fits 12 cards and envelopes.
Jennifer, these boxes are great!!!!......thanks for sharing....I have subscribed to your channel!
This is super cute. If I wanted to make the box 1/4" thick instead of your example of 3/4" thick, what would my new measurements be? I have gone through a lot of paper and I still can't get it right :-(

Great idea with ribbon 😃
Great video once again. I have a question for where to place the first corner of paper, do I place it before the white notch, in the middle of the white notch or after the white notch? Hope you understand what I'm trying to say. TFS.
I had no idea that my cutting board (same as yours) can be used for scoring lines haha Awesome!
What a nice tutorial.

Love the ribbon idea
Sorry, didn't see yours before I said tell same thing 😉
what do you use for the closure of the flap of the card. They usually have glue . What do you do for that. I love you videos. Thanks
Any handy tips for utilizing the 1 2 3 Board to do thicker Box-a-lopes. I make the ones that are listed on the board itself but these are deeper.
This great! I just purchased the we are memory keeper to make envelopes….this is an added bonus! Quick question, what weight paper would you recommend to make these?
Thanks for tutorial. Made an envelope box for a 5by 5 card
Thank you for sharing!

Do you always make envelops? If not I'd LOVE to know which brand you buy. Love your videos
Thank you so much! Exactly what I wanted
So nice tfs love it
Great tutorial. Can't wait to make this! Do you know what the measurements would be if you have cards that are 5x6.5? TFS!
Dawn
Hi Jenny I have made the A2 card Box that you demonstrated but the A2 envelope is to big for the box can you tell me what I am doing wrong please Angela
I had the same issue with the 4 bar Box...I followed dimensions for envelope and it was to tall. I changed the score line to 3 inches instead of 3 1/8, it came out perfect!
great! how heavy of paper do you think you could use to still utilize the punch board for this technique? thanks, laura

Do ya have directions on how to make it without the punch board? I don't own one but I like this idea. Any suggestions?
Cant wait to see it. I Really Like this Project. I love new projects to do. Thanks for sharing :-)
How many cards fit in these boxes?
oh my goodness I ran into my studio and made one in 2 min wow thank u
Do you have measurements for an A7 card size? I make those more than I do the dinky A2 cards.
What brand of snips are you using?
What would score lines be to make the box more narrow ?
Where do you buy your papers who are not *letter sized* ?
thank you. that is just a neat idea
