Thank you Brenda, I am on a roll collecting envelope punch board projects and just love all of your tutorials! I'm also doing your Hershey Kisses Christmas trees and baby buggies, Etc.
Make these all these all the time as an extra little gift for birthdays it was onr of my projects when I got my w r m k box maker love making these and decorating the boxes too
I just made this box and it came out very nice. Of course the first time is not always the best but the instructions were easy to follow and I'm sure future boxes will be even cuter! Thanks so much.
These are very clear directions. I have been making these origami boxes for quite some time, and I don't like the crease on the top either, so what I do is draw a pencil line from one corner to the opposite corner and repeat for the other two. That way I have a mark for the center to start folding. This Christmas I made 50 of these and decorated them to give to my co-workers (I fill them with Dove chocolates).
Hi Brenda! New sub! Nice tutorial! Thanks for sharing it! I’ve had the envelope punch board for a couple weeks and knew it could do more .... but haven’t ventured into doing anything more than the envelopes! 😂 thanks for inspiring me to do something special with it!
Great Job ! I've made too many origami too and bottom boxes. Thanks for doing the measurements for me. Now to make a tops for the 123 boxes. I'll probably be able to do tops like this demo you did. I just want someone else to do a few different sizes measurements for me. Thank you.
So clever! It seems very sturdy! I saved this vedio and thumbed up. I am looking for an instruction to make 5x5x5 sturdy boxes. Can I make it with this tool or a gift box punch?
Id love to do a deeper bottom ore of a cube. The 123 punch board box 8x8 paper. Makes for a great (2/3size cupcake) box sent them to school for my daughter's high school teachers. also made bows but the bows I re did the design and I like it better.... cut tail paper and loop strips the same length but for the tails fold back one tail to make a hanging tail look and make the bow center wrap a bit longer and curl it to make it pop out and over to give a bit of dimension also curling the hanging ribbon tails. Also making the tails a narrower strip looks great too.
Thank you I have just watched you for the first time, I have subscribed at once. Your instructions are very clear. I have just bought the box maker at the same time I need to make several sizes.Bought a lot of toys in the sales for the food bank at Christmas, parents cannot afford presents for their children. Would the method be the same with the box maker? Thank you.
Hi Marilyn, this box specifically uses the envelope punch board. Try doing a search for the specific name of the tool that you have on youtube or pinterest to see if you can find some other boxes to make. Good Luck!
Brenda Quintana Thank you for your reply I am sorry I didn’t make myself clearer .It is a We are memory keepers., box maker It is very much like the envelope board but larger. Takes a 12x12. Card. Your instructions are so very much clearer.than for the box. The boxes need to be strong because the gifts are handed to supermarket, into the food bank box, unloaded ,the then on the the shelf then to the parent and so on . Paper wrapping isn’t good enough. So thank you very much.
Hi Marilyn, thanks for clarifying. The boxes that I made are actually quite small and I don't know if it would be possible to make them big enough to fit toys. :(
Hi Florecita, you can find a supply list here. www.qbeesquest.com/2017/06/eastern-palace-elegant-boxes.html Most of the products that I used are now retired, but at least you will know what I used.
Hi Linda, The measurements might work with a diagonal scoring board, but we don't have it as a product right now, so I can't work out the measurements for you. I'm sorry!
This box is awesome & your instructions are fantastic! Thanks for sharing! I'd like to CASE for a convention swap if you are okay with the me sharing your great project.
I subcribed your channel. I love your vedios :) Anyway I need a tutorial for a tall and sturdy box(5x5x5to6) for my candles. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thx!
I am embarrassed to say that I couldn't do this. I watched the video several times and cannot figure out where I am going wrong. I don't get the score lines that get pinched for the corners
Let me try to troubleshoot. At the 5:20 mark on the video, does your piece have the same score lines? Meaning does it have 3 score lines coming in from each corner? PS: Origami can sometimes be difficult to wrap one's head around. When I have trouble with a project, I leave it for the day and try it again the next. Sometimes that makes all the difference.
Dommage que les dimensions ne sont pas en français car je suis debutante et je n ai que crayon règle ciseau trop cher pour moi merci si je peuxavoir les dimensions en cm merci
