Have you tried peach fresca, or my favorite, black cherry fresca? I can't get it in Ohio, or the Midwest, so when I go visit my son in NM, I bring home as many cases as my husband allows!! It's my guilty pleasure! We don't drink alcohol, so fresca and sparkling water is my thing!! If you get a chance to try peach or black cherry fresca, I think you will LOVE IT!!!

I think I've seen this recipe with corn in it, maybe using cornmeal or a cornmeal-flour mix.i think I recall Cracker Barrel using corn in their cornbread recipe decades ago. Does anyone recall this? Also, my mom made small patties of the flour and water mixture that we used rather than biscuits or light bread.

If you watch her other videos you'll see her kids are around her in the kitchen. That's how I do it too. I'm a mother of 5 (soon to be 6). I homeschool just like her and I cook all our meals from scratch. My kids are always someplace near by, but they all are capable of entertaining themselves. I'm sure her kids are no different.
