Same crack happened with mine. I had only test fired it once in my living room right after puting it together. I set it aside for the night and came back to it the next day to find it pretty badly cracked in the same place. I contacted monkee mods and after 3 weeks, I finally received 2 replacement parts. I hope they don't turn out the same.

I got a firefly recently, and I had most of the problems you had. The screws aren’t that great, they stripped before I could get them fully seated. The loading gate will keep slipping out of the cutout if the shells aren’t fully fixed together. It’s really good to sand the mag tube down, like really sand it down, ‘cause mine still cracked even with a decent amount of sanding. Other than that it works good, hits kinda hard with a 9kg spring. There is a taobao page for replacement parts, but they don’t have the pieces that connect the two barrels.
Same here like brutal all my screws stripped. Cant find replacements do you happen to know the size??? And my trigger super crunchy. It's fun but a mess. And yes the 9kg super heavy
@@anthonyborg1990 I don't know the size but I just used small screw I had in my rival jupiter my trigger is a bit sticky buy I don't mind and I can actually prime the 18kg spring included in it now
Yes! The Wasp in the hands of great Nerfer. I got lucky and have one of the first and 2nd sets of the Wasp. My 2nd one fits 7 shells in the tube. Also have a buddy that put in a 10kg longshot spring and had good success. Thingiverse has some cool last shot holders....I put 4 or 5 on mine.
Huh... Mine arrived last week, and mine cracked in the exact same spot as yours. Wasn't in use when it cracked, must've split overnight. I was thinking of wrapping the piece in electrical tape or something to fix it, but I'm not sure that's going to do the trick

The old ones were and those sucked. These are actually the pacD design and they hand glue them. They are a lot better. Not sure if evike is selling this version in 100 packs yet though. What I used in this video came with my blue CEDA S.
The problem with the screws isn’t you there just cheap I had some stainless ones the same size so I replaced them and they worked perfectly. The trigger definitely needed a lot of sanding. And touch wood mine hasn’t cracked (yet)
Would you be so kind as to tell me what size the black screw is. I cant find the closest replacement I believe its m2.5 -.45 12mm long but I cant find which head because the flat head is to big for the hole... any help much appreciated
Friend of mine bought one of those blasters and he was assembling it and before he even got the fire it there was a crack in the exact same spot so it's not just you
@Louie St Well true, but the Stryfe is a great blaster for a beginning mod. There are tons of modification guides for it and besides maybe soldering everything should be fairly straightforward. With all the 3-D printed cages out there I feel like there's no reason not to use one. Containment crew flywheels are in my opinion the easiest to install just fyi.
Looks great, I've thought about ordering one a few times. Though I wish it could have the variety in shells that the spring thunder has. That's a shame about the crack. Hope that was just a fluke and that they replace that for you.

What if you coast all the intervals in that lineX stuff that makes it more durable

what is the best and easiest stryfe mod ?
Watch dracs video and buy the moters and don't buy the flywheels or cage
I would recommend upgrading the cage, flywheels, motors, along with the switch and a rewire for lipo. That still should be fairly easy.
