So about the same velocity with an 8kg Turf as a longshot or Xzeus. That's pretty good considering the bulpup design likely hinders performance a little.
6:11 I was thinking the same thing when I got mine. The fact it doesn't come with a piece to fit traditional 19mm OD scar muzzles is kind of annoying. My barrel is WAY off, and it really throws the accuracy of the blaster out of the window. The Thahn scar you can get for it is really the only way to properly center the barrel. It needs to at least have another hold down point prior to the end of the barrel so scar choice shouldn't matter. I was pretty disappointed with that.
It's called a Chronograph, there are many different variations but this appears to be a proper ballistics chronograph rather than one for Airsoft or paintball.
No, but also haven’t been able to take this to a game yet. I think it will hold up fine but I guess the catch could wear down over time. He is selling a metal reinforced one on his site now if you’re concerned about that.
@@NaptownNerf I appreciate the quick response! Did you have any recommendations on the barrel diameter and barrel length and spring combo? I ordered the .509 40 and 45 cm barrels and have some spare 14/16 longshot springs...Ideally, I’m looking for about 250ish fps with a decent rate of fire...thanks again for the response!
@@vargolf2000 That sounds like it will get you that. I definitely prefer the KuryKafe barrels to the standard one and I definitely prefer turf longshot springs to any other.
Print time is not bad at all but obviously this depends on your settings, infill, layer thickness, and whatnot. Screws are #10-32 X inch and a quarter but that is a bit long although 1 inch I think would be too short.
that filament is flipping gorgeous DAMN
Yeah that's a great colour

Probably something to do with a longer barrel being standard. Maybe longer draw/more air volume too
Thanks for the closeup, and slow action view on the plunger system. It's nice to see that detail
was wondering when you'd get yourself one, lol
Said it already, gonna say it again, that is beautiful. Hopefully I'll be able to snag a hardware kit in one of the next batches.
Orion Blasters did a damn good job with the Lynx
The lynx is definitely my go to for springers when I want speed
Just wanna mention the Lynx is dry fire safe, so you don't need to plug the barrel...this thing is designed so well!
Here’s a question. Built mine a few days ago, and I notice a little bit of a jiggle in my front half. Do you notice that as well?

What kind of 3d printer do yo use? Also I know 3D parts can be pretty fragile can this take a drop or will it shatter?
Great color choice. The atrovirens is absolutely gorgeous..
Can you put a bipod on the front grip?
Your house has a beautiful yard.
Thanks
Nice video! The shims come in 1,2 & 3 mm sizes, do you need something around 0.5mm? I can include those in the next fileset revision.
Yeah probably. Thanks so much for creating and sharing this awesome blaster with the community.
I reprinted the piece above the plunger tube at 101% height and it fit perfectly instead of messing around with a tiny spacer 🤙
Meanwhile Nerf did a Linx with lower quality, low performance and single shot breaching mechanism.
Naptown
Fantastic review for a fantastic blaster. Thanks for showing off this one. Great job can't wait for the next video.
Hey, what filament is this?
Nfstrike boomco darts 2020 start the trend on every nerf video
Assuming metric, what size bolt and nut do you recommend for your handle?
found 10-32, 1 in screw an nut works just fine.
Did you print it yourself? I like that color filament. What is that filament called and where did you get that from?
yes. I added the link to the filament in the description
What is the name of the device that is measuring the speed?
It's called a Chronograph, there are many different variations but this appears to be a proper ballistics chronograph rather than one for Airsoft or paintball.
I love my lynx too!
Keep up the good work
I cant wait till I can get one even a hardware kit would be awesome to get at this point.
OH SHIT you got my buddy's Ammocounter scar on your TC!
For Lynx owners, have you had to replace any internal parts yet? Like the catch, ramrod, etc?
No, but also haven’t been able to take this to a game yet. I think it will hold up fine but I guess the catch could wear down over time. He is selling a metal reinforced one on his site now if you’re concerned about that.

Did you ever get round to adding lights to your frost styfe?
Oh yeah, that was some time ago. There was a video made for it also.
Clubhouse! Great vid as always
Great video sir. Pretty sweet if you’ve got the funds, keep up the great work sir.
where can you buy spare springs for this thing?
FoamFreaks sells the U.S. turf springs. You'll want the longshot sizes 5kg. 8kg 10kg 18kg.
That's a nice grip, could I get the thingiverse link?
Added it to the description
@@NaptownNerf thanks appreciate it!

Thanks I just ordered some from Amazon
Question can you put the retaliator pump grip kit on a recon?
Yeah but why bother? Reverse plunger tubes are teh sux0rz
@@SpikeJonesTheCr0oked I just wanna customize a blaster
