Finally 🙏some body from the West Media has begun to address Ma Ganga as Ganga and not Ganges 🙄.
I liked the tone of the Narrative which was more in tune with the Phenomenal Timelessness of Ganga. And also how he folded hands 🙏 shows a bit of hope that the attitude of the Western Media could change for the better of Humanity...
Hope we Indians also start feeling the same and start considering ganga as lifeline of India and stop polluting it .
Hopefully a day will come when we dive in river Ganga without any fear of being getting infected from pathogenic microbes , there will be no direct pouring of chemical and there will be no plastic bags and sewerage in river Gange .

Ganga is sacred, for a reason, it's the Richest., richer than Nile, Amazon or Mississippi or Yangtze Kiang.
Ganga provides life to the densest region in the world, nearly 0.80 billion people (2.5 times of the USA or 1.5 times of Europe) live in it's influence, it contains the most silt of any river in the world, which makes all the regions in its influence "Fertile", it's the reason India stayed the richest in Agriculture from ancient times to this day.

I can't be more thankful to God and my parents that I've been born and brought up in Haridwar. Ganga ji has always been a significant part of my entire childhood, those plunge in the holy and chilled water in summers were so refreshing and unforgettable. Yes I visited Ganga river in Kanpur few times and was saddened to see the pollution and poor management of wastes near Ganga ghats, be it Bithoor or near Ganga barrage. In my hometown of Bihar, I have seen the beauty of Ganga Ghats in Buxar and Patna. Hope the initiatives taken by Kanpur adminstration is not limited to paper works only and should be visible on ground zero!

It’s mentioned that during Akbar’s time the water of Ganga is sweet and pure to such a point that rich people paid a premium to drink the water. Even Akbar had his special servants personally deliver water from Ganga to him because he liked the fresh and pure taste.
I’ve yet to taste fresh water like that. I wish that Ganga would be purified completely when I get old. Legend states that Ganga flowed down from heaven to earth to liberate Bhagiratha’s dead ancestors.
Why would you mention Akbar or any such mughal king ftm ? This could very well have been said of and during some other great king and yet retain the same message. That's how leftist writers have colonised the young minds via ncerts, movies, dramas, govt exams and common narratives.

The person who has took a sip of Ganga's Water ever, can only describe the emotion of purity associated with it. And the one who has took bath in its stream can tell you how it is different than any other river on earth and a truely Heavenly River!
One of the marvellous civil engineering tasks in ancient India was to bring Ganga from the Himalayas the skies to the planes the earth. To understand this civil engineering work of making channels in the mountains and giving the river a path to follow one needs to visit the high mountains from where it originates. The tapasya of Bhagirath was this great task of civil engineering which our ancient texts describe as a divine work so that masses can know it in simple words and pass on to their children as stories .

2. It is not “just” a river like Nile, because many non-Indian scientists have proved that the purity and medicine-properties of Ganga are much more compared to other rivers in world.
3. Is Canada not a part of earth? Is INDIA located outside earth?
4. Are the benefits of Ganga (direct or indirect) only limited for north Indians ppl? Do you know how the Ganga, the food produced due to irrigation of water, fishery business and many more direct indirect business limited only for North India? Is the benefit not given or received by any other parts of India?
5. Tourism is also major revenue due to Ganga. Where not only Indians but even american or canadians visit and help Indian economy.

Thanks to the narrator for the rare accurate pronunciation (0:05) in Western media of the term, "Himalaya", with the emphasis on the 2nd syllable - and not the 3rd as it is often done in the West - where the conjunction of the 2 words, "hima" (snow) and "alaya" (abode), takes place. The singular status of *the* abode of snow - which is true, certainly, for the region - is also underscored by avoiding the oft-used plural term "Himalayas" that is the norm for denoting a mountain range.
This is an extremely optimistic videos....but the ground reality is that the Ganga is lethally polluted and the breeding area of diseases, especially the lower course regions. Need to change people's mentality, if we want to save Ganga for the future.
