I went the opposite way and bought a tall windscreen, I do have a nice wind free bubble behind it on the highway now, however standing up off road there is a chance of getting a neck chop with it, well it sometimes feels like that. I do like a good naked bike tho and the uninterrupted air has it's place too.
Thanks the useful diy tip! I am searching for a summer/offroad setup, where my helmet and shoulders get a clean airflow without buffeting, this solution can be good for me(177cm height). Maybe the Puig sport windscreen can be good also. I know, Puig and Honda make Aerodynamic Tests, I assume these cannot be wrong. My winter setup goal was the highest wind protection. I have tested the cheep adjustable solution what you had tested before, with the OEM windscreen. For me it is not good, because the gap was too big under the screen in the highest position, and it confused the planned aerodinamics, got more wind to my body. This can be a good summer solution for somebody, who has noise helmet, and need more heating aerflow(my helmet got less airflow). For me the perfect winter setup is the tall OEM like screen with deflectors. I think it is identical to the OEM (without Honda logo), but you can buy cheaper from the Ali(around 50 EUR).The wind touch only the top of my helmet, whit this I started to not use ear plugs . :)
I’m 178 if that helps. For cold and long rides, see my MRA video 👇🏻 ua-cam.com/video/O62ZTaOrjJE/v-deo.htmlsi=PfAzgzLGGEP1yay1

I removed the big puig screen because the horrible buffeting & noise. Found the push of clean air exhilirating. Recently had to commute in bad weather so I put it back on with an additional clip-on. Better, not perfect, but I hate looking through all that multilayered distorsion and it looks silly.
So now you have wind on you all the time? Not nice in some locations and climates. I also do not like looking through mutiple windscreens. I replaced the Karoo street tires as I found them along with the spongy front end forks to be the craps in dirt (off pavement).

@tonyjourneyman1944 still have the MRA for winter and long trips. If I had to pick only 1, MRA. But I don't so this is nice for day rides and summer

I gotta learn to cross / jump that
@@vspatmx7458 I think I'm still a bit new to dirt. Not quite at the "jump slick rotten logs" point😅

@@human1513 yes, but very clean air
Bro, your mic is still clipping as hell.
@rideinnl this video was filmed before the last videos barrage of sound comments, I've fixed it for the videos coming next
That's DIYwhy material, why on earth you'd want *less* wind protection ?
@xani666 all the reasons I said in the video.
Clean air = less noise.
