I almost had to restart the game because I had killed the merchant 🤦 (for the Uchigatana) and I needed the Scimitar but luckily I got one next to the Catacombs. After like 20 mins of grinding one of the small skeletons 💀 finally dropped the Scimitar. By the way I just subscribed and smashed the bell 🔔 notifications. And it's very helpful now with a lot of areas. I'm on level 78 at the moment. My stats are: Vitality - 38 Attunement - 15 Endurance - 24 Strength - 14 Dexterity - 40 Resistance - 12 Intelligence - 10 Faith - 8 Trying to build my character as a Pyromancy. Not sure if that's the best way so far. The other sword I'm using is the Uchigatana +10. Was thinking of upgrading to lightning Uchigatana but honestly have no clue if that's the right way to go. Any suggestions on what's the best gear for a Pyromancy? I'm currently using the Crimson Set.
I'm a little late to the party but one way I use to defeat the painting guardians on the rafters was to use a bow and arrow to aggro them, then stand in the area with the chandelier and wait for them to attack so I could knock them off or kill them outright. It might be cheesing but it's less risky and I don't ever feel bad about cheesing Dark Souls.
What I meant to say was that the weapon doesn't work well on the bosses of the dlc because that weapon does mainly fire damage and not a lot of physical damage, sorry for getting you confused
Hey man thanks for the tutorial But i cant upgrade my scimitar to +10 i have enough titanite but it only goes to +5 after that it wont show up on the menu pls let me know if you have a soloutin
you have to get the large ember and give it to a blacksmith. the large ember is in the room where there are dogs and butchers right as you enter the depths, it should be in a chest somewhere around there, once you get it, give it to any blacksmith, it would be better to give it to the one you use the most as I'm pretty sure only the one you give it to can use it. Hopefully this helps you in your Dark Souls adventure!
Something bad happened to me. When the creatures came in, the blacksmith attacked me? I left there, rested in bonfire, came back, but when the blacksmith attacked me, I had to kill him:) Scimitar+10, but I have no idea how to get Quelaag's furysword gun?

Hey dude I want to upgrade my schimitaz to +10 I have the large emblem or whatever but I can’t upgrade it past +6 it won’t show up on the menu

does falchion work for queelags sword?
i can’t upgrade any of my weapons past 5 how do i fix this
go to andre the blacksmith in undead parish to modify to +6, then this guy can take you all the way up afterwards

shouldve returned to undead parish, the guy at the top can reset friendly npc aggro if you have enough souls
